Hi guys welcome back to the channel it's Claire right and this week we are
going to be sharing with you some tips to make sure that your cat doesn't get
bored at home plus at the end of the vlog I'll be telling you how you can win
yourself a very own petcube play so if you want to make sure that your cat
doesn't get bored just carry on watching. Now a good idea is to leave a small
amount of treats hidden around your house your cat to explore and find. Your cat
will be able to smell the treats around the house but they will have to do the
hard work and be curious cats to be able to find them this will keep your cats
entertained for a long while and it will reward them for being such good curious
cats. Now if you spend a lot of time and out of the house during the day this is a
really good way to give them their lunch. Instead of leaving treats hidden around
house just leave little piles of their dry food hidden in places that they might
need to just sort of have a bit of a snoop to find. Not only does this keep your
cat entertained but also gives them lunch Now you can be inventive for where you hide them
but make sure that their not hidden anywhere dangerous or high so your cat
doesn't harm themselves when trying to get that lunch now leaving cat toys
scattered around the house is also a good way to keep your cat entertained quite
often I'll come back from being outside and find Ragsies toys strewn about the house
It seems that she does care toys it's just not when I'm in the house, isn't that right?
catnip infused toys are also a great idea and will keep your cat entertained
for ages speaking of catnip this is a great way
to keep your cat entertained and stop them from destroying your house to
boredom. Now instead of leaving treats in your own house
leave your path with catnip to keep your cat entertained for a long long time
catnip is a great way to keep your cat from getting bored but it's also a great
way to treat them without adding the calories. Now have you ever tried any odd
cat TV? Here on Relax My Cat we have a few episodes of cat TV
Ragsies favorite is the fish tank so if you leave it on your TV or just playing
on your laptop your cat can while away the hours watching fish and birds
and lastly you can get yourself a petcube. Now what is a pet cube I hear you ask?
Well it is an absolutely fantastic product. It's a little cube that you plug
in and it not only has a camera embedded in it but it also has a laser pen. This
means that you can monitor your cat or while you're away, but also using the
laser feature you can play with your cat when you're not even in the house it's
absolutely fantastic product and me and Rags have been having so much fun with it
Let me show you some features of a petcube play.
So the pet cube came out packaged in this awesome box with a wee cat on the front as you can see it is
very well packaged and and you can tell it that's the people who own this
company and who make this product reallyvcare about their products
now the petcube itself is a pretty snazzy as you can tell! Now here we have a camera which
is where it picks up with the images of your cat and here we have where the
little laser pointer comes out which you can play with your cat while you are out of the house or somewhere else
Okay so once you have your petcube you can download their app which is free and dead easy to download and then with the app you
connect your camera which is also really easy and then you get a timeline
underneath of all the footage that it's captured which you can watch
It is Ragsy in the middle of the night
Now there are all sorts of settings and things that you can put. You make a
profile this one's called Claire's and Rags because that's who it is. And you can
decide whether you want to make your camera public or private so people can
come and watch your pets! It's really cool now you can see that on the app it
says the pet cube is online so now I can see what the pet cube sees!
Let me have it so Ragsy is on the table just by me and
the Petcube is linked up to here. Now you can change the settings so you can
turn sound on or off and you can turn the laser pin on and off.
Now one of the best things about the Petcube as you can see is that you can use your finger on the
screen to move the laser pan around. So that you can actually play with your cat
when you're not even in the house. I am actually on a train on the way to a
Christmas party while I'm doing this so even though I'm on a moving train I'm
still able to play with Rags
And it gets even better - when it gets dark the petcube
automatically goes into night mode so that you can see your cat even when there
aren't any lights on. It is so good
Now if you have autoplay feature on every time your Petcube detects motion
it will play the laser pen randomly so your cat can play all by themselves
