CHAPTER - 29 WHAT IS DEATH?

After my third visit to U.S.A. in 1974, I have gone five times and spent four months

a year in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980 and 1981.

After my return to India in October 1981, our Bombay Centre arranged for an Intensive

Course of one week's duration at Matheran.

Toward the conclusion of the Course, a telegram was received conveying the news of my second

wife Lakshmi's demise at Guduvancheri.

Our members assembled at Matheran were petrified on reading the telegram and it was with great

trepidation that they handed over the message to me.

I couldm surmise the depth of sorrow felt by our members from their faces and whispered

words.

I felt it was my primary duty then, to console our member friends who were in grief on receiving

the telegram.

I asked all of them to sit before me for a few minutes.

What I told them on the occasion is reproduced below, as it would be useful to all: "My dear

friends, I know how sad you are all feeling.

I will tell you something.

What we call problems are part of life and we get perturbed over them, only when we forget

the Divine order.

"When a fruit is ripe on the tree, it automatically has to fall down to the Earth.

That is the law of Nature-the Divine function.

Simlarly when the time is ripe, man dies.

Everyone born, is born only to die.

Death is inevitable.

The length of time between birth and death may vary from person to person for several

reasons, but death is certain for all.

My second wife was nearing sixt and she was not in good health.

The time was ripe for her to leave the world and so the end has come about.

We all have to accept it, because is the Divine providence.

The feelings over the dead person are the same for all of us.

The difference is only how quickly we are able to extricate ourselves from the sorrow.

Now there is no use deepening the sadness as far as I am concerned, for I cannot do

anything for the dead one.

"But I have the duty to console my first wife Lokambal, who has lost her dear companion,

sister and friend.

Lokambal and Lakshmi were living as sisters for the past 37 years.

One was never away from the other for more than two days at a stretch.

We could imagine the feelings of Lokambal considerably at this time.

Therefore I have to go as early as possible to Madras.

Please be kind enough to send me to Madras by the next available flight.

May the Almighty give sufficient courage to all to bear the sad occurrence".

Details Revealed: John Mccain Tried To Sabotage Trump With Fake Dossier!

It's no secret that Sen. John McCain is not a fan of President Trump.

McCain has frequently been opposed to the President's agenda, voting against most

of the legislation backed or proposed by the White House.

It would appear that the animus McCain holds against President Trump is deeper than anyone

realized.

On Monday Sir Andrew Wood, who claims to have been the "go-between" last year, informing

Sen. McCain of the controversial 'Trump Dossier' described the circumstances that

helped coordinate its release to the FBI, the media, and Capitol Hill.

The information provided by Sir Andrew Wood sheds light on the role McCain and his aide

played with regard to the Trump Dossier.

Unclean Hands

Sir Andrew Wood is reportedly good friends with former British spy Christopher Steele,

the author of the Trump dossier.

Wood claimed that Steele approached him in August of 2016 and informed him about the

dossier:

[Steele] came to me to tell me what was in it, and why it … was important.

He made it very clear … yes, it was raw intelligence, but it needed putting into proper

context before you could judge it fully.

Just after the 2016 presidential election, Wood and McCain spoke at the same security

conference in Canada.

It was there that Wood was approached once again by Steele and asked if he would approach

the senior Republican, McCain.

Wood agreed and elaborated on his assistance to Steele: "My mission was essentially to

be a go-between and a messenger, to tell the senator and assistants that such a dossier

existed."

Wood insisted that he never read the unverified dossier that was composed by his good friend

and colleague, Christopher Steele.

According to Wood, Steele informed him that in August of 2016, he had "already been

in contact with the FBI."

Wood continued: "He [Steele] said there was corroborating evidence in the United States,

from which I assumed he was working with an American company."

It was at the security conference that McCain Institute for International Leadership staffer

David J. Kramer was told by the senator directly to get a personal briefing from Steele in

Surrey, an English town near London, regarding the dossier and return to Washington D.C.

At that time, Fusion GPS would then provided Senator McCain with hard copies of the dossier

against the president.

In January, Sen. McCain handed over the dossier composed by Christopher Steele to the FBI.

Unbeknownst to McCain, the FBI had already obtained a hard copy from Steele.

Senator McCain has commented on his involvement regarding the dossier:

Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public.

Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I

delivered the information to the Director of the FBI.

That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI or any other government agency regarding

this issue.

Government Corruption?

The month of August in 2016 is a critical period in the dossier timeline.

To recap, during that month, the FBI ramped up the Russia probe and former-FBI director

James Comey had made the recommendation against prosecuting Hillary Clinton.

According to the New York Times, before the election, the FBI had reached an agreement

to pay Steele to continue his research, though the plan was scrapped once the dossier became

public.

Fusion GPS was hired by the Clinton campaign and the DNC through their law firm, Perkins

Coie, to compile opposition research on Trump.

NFL Is Failing, Record Low Ticket Sales May Doom Organization.

There aren't many things you can purchase these days for only $2.

You can't even buy a gallon of gas for $2.

One thing you can buy with $2, though, is an NFL ticket.

Well, at least on Sunday you could.

In a match-up between the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, Vivid Seats was selling

tickets for as low as $2.

Even the really good seats near the 50-yard line were going for $29.

Granted, there was a snow storm that day in Buffalo, but that game wasn't the only one

selling tickets for extremely low prices.

Tickets for the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers game were going for as low as $7

In contrast, New York Upstate reported that in the same area as the Bills game, a college

hockey team had tickets for $28.

Ouch.

That hurts.

It should be noted that not all teams are suffering from those extremely low ticket

sales, but overall, ticket prices aren't what they used to be.

When Colin Kaepernick started his protests by kneeling during the National Anthem, he

probably never expected the negative impact that his decision would have on the NFL.

The NFL never really learned its lesson, though.

In fact, earlier this year, players doubled down on their protests and continued kneeling

despite pressure from fans to stop.

Fans responded in force by turning the TV off, and they also stopped going to the games.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell needs to learn the basic economic principle of supply and

demand.

Provide a product that people actually want to see, then your prices will skyrocket due

to demand.

Tick your fan base off, and ticket sales will plummet due to the lack of demand.

You know things are bad for the NFL when tickets for the game are cheaper than a hot dog and

drink at the stadium.

Goodell doesn't have the backbone to deal with the protesters, though.

In fact, it was even suggested by some owners that players should just stay in the locker

room during the National Anthem next year.

Yeah, that's a great idea.

Instead of dealing with the problem, let's just try and hide the players.

It takes leadership to run the NFL, Mr. Goodell.

Leadership requires that you make the right decision even when it's unpopular.

It's time to deal with these protesters once and for all.

Require them to stand for the anthem and watch those ticket prices jump back up to normal

levels.

If not, I'll send you a bottle of ibuprofen (which is something else you can't buy for

$2).

You can expect more economic headaches in the future.
