USA news on Youtube Feb 3 2019

Hey this is Kobe.

I'm gonna start with my experience in US.

Maybe some of you know I was there with my J1 visa on 2017.

The reason why I decided to go there..

The main reason is I was supposed to get

a permanent residency there.

Before I went there first time.

I've been sick of Korean society actually.

It's very competitive to do anything.

To get a good job

Or to study in a good university

Anything like that.

Everyone here is well educated.

Even though they are really qualified,

it's hard to survive in Seoul.

Especially here in Seoul,

people really wanna work and live here as well.

Because people are overflowing,

you get less money compared to your value.

Anyway because of this, I really wanted to leave Korea.

For myself and for my future child

Everyone here in Korea goes to the same way.

Yea.. I had been sick of it kind of.

I broke up my ex-girlfriend who I met for 4 years.

I was very happy at the time.

Finally, I was able to get out of Hell Joseon.

My plan had been going well.

But, you know there is a famous saying.

Living as a resident was a different problem.

After I started to live in US.

I had seen differences from Korea.

Most of stores, cafes and restaurants

close much earlier than Korea's.

Even aside from Seoul,

transportation systems are much more convenient than America's.

And a convenient store was..

It was a really big thing.

When I tried to get a social security number in a public office.

It was really hard to adapt to how they dealt with it.

It takes forever.

Of course there are many of good things in US.

My point is

Korea has a good customer service.

But there is a hierarchy.

In US, there are more job positions are available.

But there is a tip culture.

Each of them has their own pros and cons.

So, it means like

If I can make the disadvantages offset the advantages.

It could be fine.

If you go to any country, there is a good thing and a bad thing.

So, you have to see even though there are disadvantages,

the advantages fit what you wanna do or what you wanna be.

I finally decided to be a YouTube creator.

So, I thought Seoul is more competitive.

You can get inspired by the people.

Also, Seoul is kind of globalized nowadays

I could make contents with different points of views as introducing Korea to foreigners.

So, I thought I could do that well in Korea.

If I hadn't been to US before,

probably I could haven't known what I could do well in Korea.

So, I really recommend you to go to other cultural countries.

Just not like for traveling
