DEVASTATING TRUMP IMPEACHMENT ANNOUNCEMENT, IT'S ALL OVER

Trump's former lawyer and now convicted felon, Michael Cohen confessed he helped to

rig polls in favor of Trump in the run-up to the election.

The Democrats smell blood in the water.

Cohen said that in addition to rigging pills, he said Trump personally directed him to lie

to Congress about the timing of negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

This has the Democrats feeling like they've got Trump pinned in a corner and that they'll

have the chance to instigate impeachment proceedings.

Some anti-Trumpers on Twitter believe those proceedings could begin as early as next week

Democrats are confident that Trump's going to get nailed.

Democrats Think Trump Is Done

Rhode Island representative David Cicilline of Rhode Island and the head of House Democrats'

messaging arm told CNN that if what Cohen said about Trump was true, then these are

"the most serious threat to the Trump presidency that we've seen so far," as well as an

"impeachable offense."

And another Democrat, Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington, who also happens to be on the

House Judiciary Committee said the report suggests Trump obstructed justice.

"That's a federal crime," she said.

Others believe that Trump is in a position where he must either resign or be impeached.

At least that's what Democrat Joaquin Castro of Texas and said.

According to him, Trump "must resign or be impeached."

Cohen Telling the Truth?

So far those close to Cohen don't dispute Cohen's claims.

His lawyer, Lanny Davis, didn't try and undermine Cohen's involvement in the activity.

"You have in the past denied others or corrected the record when something has been wrong,"

host Chuck Todd pointed out.

"[Cohen] had nothing to do with the writing of the story.

He didn't initiate the story.

It was done by independent reporting.

So the story stands on its own," Davis said, while neither explicitly confirming nor denying

the story.

But those who are close to Trump, and who are his legal counsel, including Rudy Giuliani

heavily dispute the allegations.

Giuliani issued a statement saying "Any suggestion — from any source — that the

President counseled Michael Cohen to lie is categorically false."

And Trump said that Cohen has nothing.

He said Cohen's "lying to reduce his jail time."While things might seem bad… this

is really just another dart flung at the President.

It's unlikely this is true

and is

pure fabrication.
