Chris Hill: Question from Matt in Akron, Ohio. "What are your thoughts on Skechers?

I have long felt it is a solid company with very little debt and a good growth story.

I know the China fears are playing into the decline in price.

Is there something else driving it lower that I'm missing?" Great question!

Is he missing something? Seth Jayson: If he's missing it, I'm missing it, too.

I looked through it today. I haven't caught up with Skechers for a while.

Was it Matt in Columbus?

Hill: Akron. But, yes, Matt. Jayson: Akron, Columbus. Ohio. It's Ohio.

Hill: [laughs] You know what?

I bet there's some level of rivalry between Akron and Columbus.

Jayson: There's some Akron-mony?

Hill: [groans] Let's move on! Jayson: Let's move on!

Domestic wholesale was down slightly in the last call. But, expected to get a little better for Q4.

Maybe nobody's expecting that anymore. International was doing pretty well as of Q3.

That's more than half the business right now.

I hadn't realized that Skechers has almost 3,000 stores worldwide now, in addition to

their direct business, the wholesale business. They're really everywhere.

They're No. 1 in a whole bunch of categories. I buy a lot of Skechers shoes for my little girl.

She's nine and she still likes the flashy shoes. They're generally pretty decent shoes.

They look alright for her. They're comfy and they last the appropriate amount of time.

International is doing well. I'm going to say, maybe it's just the China thing for right now.

They talked about it in the last call. They still don't know quite what's going on. Nobody does.

Their products, as of right now, are not subject to increased tariffs, but they could be if

the next tranche of a trade puffery goes through.

But, they're always looking at ways to move their manufacturing to other countries.

Now, so is everybody else at this point.

I would say that maybe the takeaway here is we should all open a shoe factory in Indonesia or Vietnam.

The strong dollar is also making things a little bit tougher.

I think we just have the wall of worry here.

When you look at how far the stock has come back, and you look at the strong margins they

usually produce, the good cash flow production and the balance sheet, Skechers looks like

a pretty good long-term bet to me, from this level.

May get a chance to get it in the teens or something, it'll be a steal.

Hill: I was going to say, just to be more specific about the numbers, eight months ago,

this stock was in the low 40s. Today, it's in the low 20s.

Not that you ever want to try and time things perfectly for buying at the bottom, but it

certainly has come back a long way.

Jayson: Personally, if we weren't talking about it today, I probably would have bought a third position.

When Chris sent this over to me for an idea, the only question I had is, why is anyone

so interested in Skechers?

Because last I saw, it was $40, and the valuation looked like it was ahead of itself.

At $20, we're talking about a much different proposition.

I like a company like this, that's pretty steady and trading at a decent discount.

Over the years, their return on invested capital vs. their cost of capital is great.

They have good returns. They're really solid.

I don't see anything that I would worry about, but I've been wrong before.

And today guys we're here

At my redstone testing world

Because i want to show you guys how to make

A Redstone piston door

That uses a written password

Not a button sequence

Not the placing the right iten stuff

But placing the right iten WITH

The right name/code

So to test it have here some itens

Like an Iron block

A paper

A stone named with the right code

And a paper, named with the right code

You probably already know which one is the right one

But let's test it anyway, first the iron block

Nothing happened

Now let's try using the paper

A big no no

Now the stone, with the right code

Dead silence

But now, we'll try using the paper named with the right code

The door opens

And we'll be able to pass

Then when the post extender finish it's thing, the doors will close

If after that you want to pick your iten back

It'll be right here, where it was before

You'll want to start placing a block here

With a redstone torch placed in it

Then place redstone dust right next to it

And a block with a redstone dust placed on top of it

This is it's base, the start, the easiest part

Now you can place a block right here

And a dropper on top of it pointing to the redstone torch

And then a hopper on it's big mouth

With this done, you'll want to place a block here

And a block... here

And then place a comparator on top of the first block

Which will send a signal whenever something is in the hopper

To the block and the powering the redstone dust

Clearly the intens won't be able to travel into the dropper

'Cause we've of course placed the redstone torch underneath it

Now we'll need to ma... ah wee

We'll need to choose our password

This is it's center, it's base, meaning that the hardest...

The hardest part is already done, I can say

Now, get yourself an anvil

I'll place it right here

Now, let's choose our iten

Let's see...

I don't really know...

Something colorful would be harder to guess wouldn't it?

I have now the BlueWindow

So, this is what you'll want to do

You're gonna need, not just one, but 23

Of this code named itens

So being I in creative mode, i'll duplicate the itens

You'll get yourself 23

22 in one slot and 1 in another one

In the hopper you'll put the 22

You'll need that the 22 itens are inside the hopper

But most importantly, you need to have at least one in each slot

Okay?

So place at least one in each slot and the other 17 you can place wherever you want on the hopper

But you need to have at least one in each slot

You musn't have less than 1 in each slot

So, i'll place it this way

Now, get yourself a button

Let's get one

This door, at the interior part, isn't the most beautiful thing you know...

because the circuitry ends up totally exposed (I teach how to easily hide it forward at the video)

You may somehow hide it

But i bet it would be really tough

So just let it open

Nobody will see it from the inside, nobody will get in anyway

It's almost impossible to someone manage to discover your password

Well... the person can break the blocks...

But that would be unfair

So spare me this time, okay?

To give it a better look you can place some blocks here

and build a great wall here if you want

The 23º iten will be used to open the door

I'll knock this wall down

Just for... demonstration purposes

Already, if you try to place some iten, for example another hopper

Nothing will happen

But, placing the BlueWindow

Give the button a press

And the torch will turn off

And any other iten won't do sh*t

A block forward the redstone torch, you'll want to place a repeater

A block

And another redstone torch

It may seem strange the amount of redstone torches, but don't worry, we'll place more

Now place a redstone dust here

Another block here and make a...

****Forgets how to speak***

Post extender

When the torch turn off

This torch will turn on for a little bit

And activate the post extender for a specific amount of time

Now, guess what? A redstone torch!

With a block on top of it

Now let's get ourselfs the pistons

And we have the door done

Well, the first side of the door done

Now let's place it like this...

What we need to do now is to power those two pistons using the same redstone torch

'Cause we don't want to place more 10 of those

Let's do it placing a redstone dust here on top of this block

Let's make a little stair here

You can make the stair bigger if you want

Or don't do it, whatever

You just need to power the pistons

And boom, it's done

Now giving the button a press

With the BlueWindow, that i don't have,

Inside the hopper, i mean dispenser, i mean dropper

I think that it works using the dispenser as well

So putting it here...

And it closes

It takes a bit because the post extender is stronger than it could be

But that's due our little block fella right here

If it wasn't a block but a redstone it would be shorter, but...

The way it works, due the TORCHES!

So a bad guy would need not only to discover which block did you use

But what you named it as well

You can, place, press, pick and run

Or place, press, run and pick

Just like I did at this other door

Blah blah blah...

It's safer to place... press... pick... and run

It's safer

And you have a lot of time to do it

You can as well hide all of the mechanism this way

Okay, now you have a very safe password system

But you may want more...

Because this door is very visible

It's a very noticeble door on the wall

You can do some little tricks here

But this on top of the door...

Wait you can also do this...

BUT here on the right you'll notice it

And there's no hiding for this, cause you need to access the dropper

But there is a way to hide it...

But it's a little bit harder to build

But if you guys really want to, i can show how to do it
