if you're looking at an email program or you want to get into building a list for your products or for your
Services for your customers, whatever reason that you want to build an email marketing list
Then get responses one of those programs that have been around for a long time pretty tried-and-true
You'll see that along with Aweber
rocket responder
There's ndred there's just all kinds of things as what is a send monkey. There's all kinds of
autoresponders out here on the market, but not all
Autoresponders are created equal and get response Aweber SendGrid
Rocket responder even for that part I did that one for a little while
They're fairly easy to use and fairly intuitive when you get in here and you start looking at things, you know
And once you you get sort of used to one program, then they're sort of the same
You know in terms of what they what you have to do to set up an email autoresponder
So, but this is a general overview and I want to talk a little bit about
Get response
it's
It's reasonably priced for someone who wants to get in you can start out at $15 a month
You can do a 30 day free trial. I
Think that $15 a month is like for 500 subscribers
If you're really building a list of real people
Then that is a good starting place
For me one time I signed up for an email list building
campaign with through this company, you know, they were gonna get me a lot of email subscribers for
For my email list I thought so I got a lot of emails
but I
Guess it was a hard lesson and learning the difference between real people and bought traffic and you know
I'm pretty sure they would say they were real people, but I don't know. Maybe they were but I don't think so
But so you'd have to be really careful about who you're actually bringing in to your list. Don't be so
General that anyone who subscribes to your list you you automatically think
There's going to be a fire or you know, someone who's interested in what you have people opt into lists
you know for different reasons people opt in they
will opt in and forget that they opt in and then when they get an email from you
They'll tell you that you're spamming them, even though you have the proof that they opt it into a particular page
so
You know people don't always remember why or where they opt it into a list. You don't want to add people that
You know, you never just want to grab emails and add them to your get response or any
Autoresponder for that matter if if you've not had contact with them in some form or fashion
And that might simply be coming through your lead page
I'm using lead page plus here and let me just show you here. Let me show you some of the
Options here list, this is a capture page. Now. Let me just show you one that I did. That'll be easier
This is a capture page that you make and
for instance if someone came to this page and
They said oh I want to learn how to make $100 a day. So get instant access once you click on that it's gonna ask
For your name and your email and we've all seen landing pages right capture pages all of that
But what happens then is because of how I have get response integrated with my capture pages
I'm going to start getting emails over here and my good response
So that's kind of the goal right is to pull in
Emails from people who have seen something and that was kind of the point of my story there
Who have seen something that they want to opt into and then you are going to follow up with them on the back end. Okay
That's totally different than just saying
Hey
I think I saw an email somewhere and you grab it you stick it in here and all you you don't want to do that
you'll get yourself banned and that's not the kind of email marketing that you want to do anyway, so
Here is an overview. You can see here what some of the options are email marketing webinars marketing automation
That's sort of a little bit of a newer function for get response and that's what this is doing right here is
You know based on a set of criteria
you can direct your
subscribers to go in a certain direction
let's say you have people who on a prospect list and someone opts in as a buyer and
Now you want them on the buyers list. Well, you can set up an automation here and have the system automatically
Move them to a buyer's list and take them out of the prospect list because you don't want them getting two emails from you
right
So and you the the more that you can do and automate what you're doing, you know
Then it's just it's easier that way because we get lost in the details. Sometimes we can't keep up with everything so
Landing pages you have the option of making landing pages there. They're actually very easy to do and
They look really nice and that's just an option that you have
I just happen to have a program that I use I actually have two other programs that I use and that's why I
Use those from my landing pages, but you are totally I mean, it's totally doable to come in here and make your landing pages
I did it for a long time before that so
anyway, okay, so I'm going to log in here and
Show you the back-office and as a part of this overview, hang on one second and when you get to the back-office
You're simply going to see the dashboard here. It's going to take you through all of the different functions. These are your contacts
This is where you would add contacts. This is where you would
Clean up your contacts. If for some reason you want to delete somebody from your email lists
you can do that here email marketing is where you going to set up your
autoresponders or send out your newsletters
your autoresponders are typically set to go out on a daily basis or weekly basis a newsletter is a special event or
A launch some people use their newsletter and they don't even make create autoresponders
They just bring in their contact lists and just do a newsletter whenever they want to have contact with your list
your list is going to actually learn how you do things and
After that, you sort of get a routine and a style
Then they're going to be looking out for that email
and you know
It's like me I know that there's certain people in my inbox that I'm going to going to get an email from them
You know once a week some people I'm gonna get one once a day if I get more than one once a day
You know, I might start looking at them going. Ok, what's going on here. But again, that's just, you know the set up and
Strictly your choice and what you see that that works for you?
So I did a couple of the videos one was for setting up your autoresponder and the other one was for creating a list
So I'm not gonna go over that here
But they will be in the same play list as this video is so you'll see them on the side there

if you're new to in email marketing then
You know, this is this is a good one to start with
It's you know, once you learn the functions, you know, like bringing in setting up your contacts putting in their name and their email
You can import them using anak
CSV file and or an excel file, whatever it is that you're using our however
You have it saved you can pull it in that way you again you're creating your your autoresponder or your newsletter?
You're automating the process here, you know, if they're a buyer then pull them off that prospect list
Or if they say they don't want to any contact or they're done or they switch products on you
You have that setup in your automation. Then you're taken care of. You've got your webinars and as you can see here
They're really good at

landing page
You've got a website creator and you're out there creating website web web pages
sorry at your website and you need a form to
Connect to your email. You just come in here and create your form. It'll take you through some steps

Take you through the steps
Put that HTML code on your website and away you go. So that way when people opt into that form on your website
They'll be landing here in your get response and really again, that's what it's all about. So
