Yellowstone in 4 days - Most beautiful National Park in the US - Duration: 10:16.

This episode is a little different from

others since I'm going to comment on our

trip to Yellowstone in voiceover

I hope you enjoy as much as I did

this visit of the oldest national park in the world

We took off from San Francisco toward Salt Lake City

Here we rented a

nice big cadillac for the weekend

Our first stop was Jackson Hole

typical village of the region

known for its many rodeos and sheriffs riding horses

We then continued towards Grand Teton National Park

this park owes its name from French Canadians who have discovered the place and found very explicit the form

of the mountains

The next day we actually spent the day in the yellowstone and

met our first bison We stayed at least 20 minutes to

take pictures while it was only the first of the hundreds we will see after

The schedule was heavy this day and the morning

we started by visiting the grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

Then finally Old Faithful the best

place to visit for its geysers and its hot springs

The temperature of the water is 100 degrees C on the surface and

more than 200 degrees C below At Yellowstone there are more than 200

geysers and 10000 hot springs so about 2/3 of the total on the planet

Old Faithful has the particularity to erupt every 90 minutes

with water gushing to 40 meters high

We can look at the time of the next eruption in a

downloadable app on smartphone and for the eruption at which

we attended the geyser was right on time

And I still have not understood why people were applauding at the end ...

The next day we went in The Lamar Valley renowned for its

many animals and we have not been disappointed since we saw

herds of bison as far as the eye can see, a coyote but no Grizzly

We were prepared for this possible encounter because we had

with us a bear spray that works like a pepper spray

We then had the opportunity to to swim in the Boiling River

one of the only places where swimming is allowed in Yellowstone

No sign indicates the car parking lot

so it keeps the place known only by connoisseurs

a hot spring at

a temperature of 60 degrees mixes to the river which is very cold

to form a place where water is at a temperature more than

suitable for bathing

After finishing this day we had a buffalo burger

The last day we visited a refuge or wounded animals are

healed that allowed us to see a Grizzly for real

I'm finally glad I did not see one in the wild at least here there is a fence

to protect me from him

Finally before returning to Salt Lake City we stopped to see

other geysers, turquoise pools and bubble mud baths
