Republicans in Congress are closing in on Barack Obama's Deep State.

Each day, Devin Nunes, Trey Gowdy, Jim Jordan and other conservatives continue to peel back

layers of the covert operations the rogue FBI ran against Donald Trump.

But the Deep State is holding this dirty trick up its sleeve to see its plan through to the

end and impeach President Trump.

Republicans in Congress are launching one final push to impeach Deputy Attorney General

Rod Rosenstein over his failure to properly comply with document requests in a timely

manner.

Rosenstein has slow-walked Congress' push to receive every relevant document regarding

the FBI's covert spying operations against the Trump campaign.

The Department of Justice is concealing the truth from the people's elected representatives,

and conservatives in Congress are fed up.

With just 19 days remaining on the House calendar, the deadline is fast approaching for conservatives

to take meaningful action to force Rosenstein to fork over the relevant documents or be

held accountable.

Conservatives made note of that and revealed to reporters that they believe it is an intentional

strategy on the part of Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein and the Deep State.

"I don't think there is a real appetite for any of us to leave town without getting

documents," House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows declared.

Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan stated, "Of course they're running out the clock on

us."

Jordan continued, "It's why we have been clear that every option is on the table."

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes cut right to the chase and revealed

Rosenstein's and the Deep State's true intentions.

"It's clear what they're trying to do," Nunes explained.

"They hope Democrats win the House and they don't have to comply with our requests."

If Democrats win control of the House of Representatives, liberal committee chairs will stop pressing

the Department of Justice for documents that will expose the unprecedented spying campaign

the FBI waged against Trump.

And once Democrats are in charge of the House, Nancy Pelosi and her loyal lieutenants can

shape the scope and direction of any investigative efforts.

At that point, the House ceases to be a check on the FBI and Department of Justice.

Under Nancy Pelosi, the House can collude with anti-Trump bureaucrats to leak documents

and frame stories in the most damaging light possible.

That will allow the Democrats to carry out their ultimate plan — to impeach Donald

Trump.

But if Republicans can press the DOJ to turn over the relevant documents, they can shine

a light on this scandal before the midterm elections.

And that could motivate GOP voters to turn out at the polls and maintain the GOP majority.

Republicans holding on to Congress would allow the investigations into the FBI's and DOJ's

conduct to move forward and thwart any scheme to impeach the President.

Barack Obama's Deep State is still scrambling to contain the fallout from the release of

the FBI's application for a FISA warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter

The 400-plus page document contained multiple bombshells that confirmed President Trump's

fear that the Obama administration conspired to weaponize the intelligence community against

his campaign.

But Devin Nunes has identified one secret the FBI kept buried that could bring down

Obama's Deep State for good.

The FISA warrant application was heavily redacted.

Large sections of the document were blacked out, and this is preventing the American people

from seeing the true extent of the FBI's abuse of power and their corruption.

But members of Congress have seen the application in its entirety.

And they are sounding the alarm that the FBI's misconduct is even worse than anyone imagined.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes tweeted out an article from The Federalist

describing how the FBI used false and misleading information to secure the warrant against

Page.

Nunes used the tweet to describe the article as real news and demanded the Department of

Justice release the application without any redactions.

In the application, the FBI falsely claimed the source of their information – Christopher

Steele's Russia dossier – was verified.

It was not.

The FBI also used news articles such as a September 2016 Yahoo article by Michael Isikoff

to corroborate the allegations set forth in Steele's dossier.

But Steele was the source for Isikoff's article.

The FBI also lied when they stated that "Source #1" – which was Steele – had not briefed

the media on his findings.

This was 100% not true.

In addition, the FBI misled the court as to the source of Steele's funding.

A judge may have evaluated the FBI's evidence differently had the FBI been more clear that

Fusion GPS – which hired Steele – had been paid by Hillary Clinton's campaign

and the Democratic National Committee.

House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte seconded these allegations in an interview on Fox News'

Sunday Futures.

Chairman Goodlatte stated that the applications should be released unredacted declaring, "It

is critically important that the American people have the opportunity to see most of

the rest of those documents."

Goodlatte — who has read the unredacted version of the FBI's FISA application — stated

that when the American people see the entire application, "They can judge for themselves,

but I will tell you it does not support the issuance of a warrant against Mr. Page."

Anti-Trump journalists, Democrats and Never Trump Republicans are trying to sweep the

FBI's massive spying scandal under the rug.

They know that if the American people saw the entire picture of the shenanigans the

FBI engaged in during the 2016 campaign, they would immediately demand special counsel Mueller's

investigation to come to an end.

There would also be a massive outcry to prosecute those officials in the Justice Department

and FBI who signed off on employing the surveillance powers of the federal government as a partisan

tool on behalf of the Hillary Clinton campaign in order to rig the election.

It is impossible to disagree with that statement.

It is shameful that Podesta is unwilling to hand over all of the emails that he has on

the other server.

In the emails that have been leaked up until this point, we have seen at least 75 crimes/instances

of very questionable behavior.

Once Podesta got wind of President Trump's tweet, he immediately fired back.

Podesta sent seven tweets in a row to justify himself.

John has been all over the political spectrum since the 1970's.

He served as White House Chief of Staff for Bill Clinton, Special Advisor to Barack Obama,

and most recently, Campaign Chair for Hillary Clinton.

Clearly, Podesta has made close friends with the Clintons and Obama.

We have to dig deep to understand how serious some of these crimes are.

One of the big realizations during the leaks was that Hillary sat directly on a board that

contributed to funding ISIS.

This question never came up in any kind of debate or discussion.

How is it that someone who worked with ISIS was able to run for president of our country?

Many of the crimes we have witnessed here include those that are used to manipulate

and take advantage of the hardworking people of this country.

In our opinion, the most disturbing thing on the list is how Hillary, with the Clinton

Foundation, had a discussion with big pharma on how they could raise the price of already-high

AIDS medication.

It is suspicious to think that the same woman who ran for president is trying to raise the

price of medicine that can save countless lives.

As a country, it is our duty to make sure that woman never makes it close to another

government office again.

As for Podesta, he needs to spend the rest of his life

in prison!

Democrats and the anti-Trump media are committed to impeaching Donald Trump.

And they thought they finally had the smoking gun to take down the President once and for

all.

But the plan to use the tape to impeach the President just blew up in the Democrats'

faces.

Trump-hating journalists were giddy when Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, revealed there was

at least one audio tape of a conversation between him and the President.

The tape recounted Cohen and Trump discussing a payment to former Playboy playmate Karen

McDougal months before the 2016 election.

Cohen's lawyer provided the tape to CNN, and anchor Chris Cuomo played it on his Tuesday

night broadcast.

But when Americans heard the audio, they quickly realized the tape was not as it was billed.

In their conversation, Trump and Cohen discuss setting up an entity to purchase McDougal's

story from AMI – the company that owns the National Inquirer.

The conversation went as follows:

COHEN: Correct.

So, I'm all over that.

And, I spoke to Allen about it, when it comes time for the financing, which will be —

TRUMP: Wait a sec, what financing?

COHEN: Well, I'll have to pay him something.

TRUMP: [UNINTELLIGIBLE] pay with cash.

COHEN: No, no, no, no, no.

I got it.

TRUMP: Check.

Democrats and Trump-hating journalists have tried to claim then-candidate Trump and Cohen

conspired to violate campaign finance laws by hiding the payments made to women who claimed

they had affairs with Trump when he was a private citizen.

This tape blows that theory out of the water.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz appeared on Cuomo's program and explained how the

tape shows Cohen walked Trump through making the payment in a manner that complied with

the law.

Dershowitz stated, "..you have the client maybe saying, 'let's pay cash.'

The lawyer says, 'no, no, no, do it by check.'

And the client comes back and says, 'I'll do it by check.'

That's a typical conversation.

I've had that conversation a dozen times with clients, and you persuade them to do

the right thing.

But I think the big picture here is, number one, Lanny is a terrific lawyer.

And so, there is a real lawyer who is now against Trump, unlike Avenatti and some of

the others, a really, really good lawyer who's on this case.

Second of all, you have a situation where, you know, he's going to flip.

There's no question.

He's now made it clear."

"This is all political.

There is no crime here.

The worst, worst case scenario, take everything Lanny Davis says as true, there's no crime.

There's no federal crime.

There's no impeachable offense.

This is all about how the president looks in the court of public opinion, whether or

not he, through his lawyer, said something that was not true.

I think they will win that fight because the tape's ambiguous enough so that there will

be people who will hear it the way they want to hear it, and other people who will hear

it the way they want to hear it," the famed Harvard Law Professor concluded.

Additionally, no payment was ever made to AMI for McDougal's story.

This Cohen tape ended up being a gigantic nothing.

As Professor Dershowitz stated, the tape described the perfectly normal conversation where a

lawyer walks his client through the steps he needs to take in order to comply with the

law.

Finally, since no payment was ever made to AMI, the tape ended up being nothing more

than a hypothetical conversation about a course of action Trump and Cohen never took.

If the media is banking on Michael Cohen delivering the goods that will bring down Donald Trump,

this tape showed they are betting

on a losing hand.

Ever since leaving the Oval Office, Obama has remained a fixture at Democrat fundraisers

and has maintained communication lines with Democratic donors and political activists.

His "shadow government" likely includes several government officials in the intelligence

and law enforcement community whose jobs are twofold: 1) undermine the "America First"

agenda, and 2) cover-up all embarrassing evidence of malpractice and corruption committed by

Outside of Obama loyalists, Trump's administration faces another insider threat in the form of

neo-conservatives who are loyal to the foreign policy goals of former President George W.

Bush.

Many alternative journalists have pointed out that Trump and National Security Advisor

General H.R. McMaster are at odds over McMaster's plans to increase the presence of US troops

In moving forward, President Trump should maintain his offensives against leakers, fake

news, and neo-conservative war hawks.

CNN is a cesspool of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The network has declared war on the Trump administration and airs anti-Trump propaganda

24 hours a day.

A CNN reporter tried to ambush Devin Nunes, but Nunes shut down CNN with one brutal truth.

The anti-Trump media is falling all over itself to try and discredit Nunes after the release

of the FBI's application for a FISA warrant to spy on former Trump campaign aide Carter

Page.

Nunes authored a memo in February that alleged the FBI misled the court when they used the

Christopher Steele dossier as the central basis to obtain the warrant.

The House Intelligence Committee Chairman alleged that the FBI also misled the court

about the nature of Steele's dossier, including who paid for it, the veracity of the information

and if Steele briefed the media on his findings.

Journalists and Never Trump Republicans attacked Nunes' memo.

But the release of the FISA application backed up everything Nunes claimed.

So CNN set out to once again undercut Nunes' findings as part of their full court press

to destroy Donald Trump's administration.

CNN reporter Manu Raju – who famously botched a story where he peddled fake news that sources

told him Donald Trump, Jr. received advanced knowledge of WikiLeaks releasing hacked emails

– confronted Nunes in the Capitol.

Nunes was having none of Raju's games.

The California Congressman shut down Raju by declaring, "Do you really think I'm

going to, um, talk to the leading Democratic Party propaganda…?"

Nunes followed by tweeting out that CNN left out the statement his office provided to the

network:

Also when asked my office gave them this quote…"CNN's slavish adherence to the Democrats' comical

talking points is an amazing sight to behold."…..Guess what?

They refused to run the statement…This is another great example of "Fake and fraudulent

news."

The level of dishonesty in the so-called "mainstream" media surrounding the Nunes memo and the FBI's

application to obtain a FISA warrant against Carter Page is stunning.

The FBI's application clearly shows that the FBI did not make it clear that the Clinton

campaign had paid for the dossier.

In the application, the FBI wrote that the dossier was funded by an entity that wanted

to discredit Trump's presidential campaign.

That could mean anything, including Never Trump Republicans or news organizations – and

a news organization, the Washington Free Beacon – was the original client who fired Fusion

GPS to investigate Trump, although their involvement with Fusion GPS ended long before the firm

hired Christopher Steele.

Nunes' memo was corroborated by the FISA application.

The FBI's spying operation against the Trump campaign was based on a sham.

It was not based on real evidence or concern about Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Critics allege anti-Trump partisans in the FBI and Obama Justice Department like James

Comey, Andrew McCabe and Sally Yates used a fake news dossier to frame an American citizen

– Carter Page – for being an agent of a foreign government.

Even though the FBI alleged in its application that Page was acting as a Russian agent – he

has not been charged with any wrongdoing during the two years of investigations, despite the

FBI's FISA warrant being renewed for three additional 90-day periods.

CNN – and other anti-Trump outlets – can run all the fake news stories about the dossier

and the FBI's conduct that they want.

No amount of misinformation and spin can change the fact that Americans have the ability to

judge both the Nunes memo and the FBI's application with their own eyes.

And any fair reading shows Nunes was correct that the FBI used a phony dossier to trick

a judge into allowing them to conduct a politically motivated espionage campaign against Donald

Trump.
