Disgraced former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe wants an immunity deal in exchange

for his testimony. Look out Comey and Obama, your Deep State

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is reportedly in negotiations with Senate Judiciary

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley to be granted immunity in exchange for his testimony on

the upcoming Justice Department Inspector General report on the FBI's handling of

the Clinton email probe. Grassley, an Iowa Republican, has quietly

requested that several former officials appear in front of the Judiciary Committee to discuss

the long-awaited internal Justice Department report, which sources say will detail a series

of missteps surrounding the Justice Department and FBI's investigation into Clinton's

handling of classified information while secretary of state," CNN reports.

"Under the terms of such a grant of use immunity, no testimony or other information

provided by Mr. McCabe could be used against him in a criminal case," Michael Bromwich,

an attorney for the former FBI official, told Grassley.

"Mr. McCabe is willing to testify, but because of the criminal referral, he must be afforded

suitable legal protection," Bromwich added.

"This is a textbook case for granting use immunity… If this Committee is unwilling

or unable to obtain such an order, then Mr. McCabe will have to no choice but to invoke

his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination." The Washington Post recently reported D.C.

U.S. Attorney's office interviewed fired FBI Director James Comey, in what is being

described as "an indication the office is seriously considering" whether former bureau

Deputy Andrew McCabe should face criminal charges.

The Post wrote:

Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz accused McCabe in April of misleading

investigators and Comey four times — three of them under oath — about authorizing a

disclosure to the media. Horowitz referred the findings to the D.C. U.S. Attorney's

Office to determine whether criminal charges are warranted.

Lying to federal investigators can carry a five-year prison sentence, though McCabe disputes

that he intentionally misled anyone. Comey's interview, while significant, does not indicate

prosecutors have reached any conclusions, and people familiar with the process said

it is not surprising given the allegations McCabe faces. A referral from the inspector

general does not guarantee charges will be filed.

McCabe's attorney, Michael Bromwich, issued a statement in response to what he describes

as an "extremely disturbing" leak from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

"A little more than a month ago, we confirmed that we had been advised that a criminal referral

to the U.S. Attorney's Office had been made regarding Mr. McCabe," Bromwich said. "We

said at that time that we were confident that, unless there is inappropriate pressure from

high levels of the Administration, the U.S. Attorney's Office would conclude that it

should decline to prosecute. Our view has not changed."

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, acting on the recommendation of the FBI's Office of

Professional Responsibility, terminated McCabe on March 16.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is in hot water this week as calls are growing for him to

be held in contempt.

Fox News legal expert Gregg Jarrett went on the network on Tuesday night to explain why

he feels Sessions should be hit with this charge along with Assistant Attorney General

Rod Rosenstein.

This comes days after Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) called on Sessions to be charged with contempt

as well.

"Two weeks ago we sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a classified letter.

Per usual, it was ignored…"

Nunes said, according to The Gateway Pundit.

"So last week we sent a subpoena.

Then on Thursday we discovered they're not going to comply with our subpoena on some

very important information that we need.

The only thing we can do is we have to move quickly to hold the Attorney General of the

United States in contempt.

And that's what I'm going to press for this week."

Trump recently lashed out at Sessions after the FBI raided the home of the president's

attorney, Michael Cohen.

"The attorney general made a terrible mistake when he did this and when he recused himself,

or he should have certainly let us know if he was going to recuse himself, and we would

have used a, put a different attorney general in," Trump said, according to Daily Mail.

"So he made what I consider to be a very terrible mistake for the country.

But you'll figure that out.."

It seems like Trump has finally reached the end of his rope with Sessions.

Hillary Clinton's top aide Huma Abedin is undoubtedly in full panic mode as President

Donald Trump is calling for her to be sent to prison for forwarding a huge amount of

sensitive emails to her personal Yahoo account, up to and including passwords to government

systems.

Right Wing News reported that earlier this year, Trump took to Twitter to call for the

Justice Department to finally take action against Abedin and former FBI Director James

Comey.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton's top aid, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic

security protocols.

She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents.

An FBI report states that on August 16, 2010, Abedin received an email "with the subject

'Re: your yahoo acct.'

Abedin did not recall the email and provided that despite the content of the email she

was not sure that her email account had ever been compromised."

The FBI also questioned Abedin about sending other sensitive information to Yahoo.

"Abedin was shown an email dated October 4, 2009, with the subject 'Fwd: US interest

in Pak Paper 10-04' which Abedin received from [redacted] and then forwarded to her

Yahoo email account….

At the time of the email, [redacted] worked for Richard Holbrooke who was the Special

Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP).

Abedin was unaware of the classification of the document and stated that she did not make

judgments on the classification of materials that she received," the report said.

Immediately after Abedin sent the many emails to her Yahoo account, half a billion Yahoo

accounts were hacked by Russian cybersecurity expert and Russian intelligence agent, Igor

Sushchin, in 2014.

One of the largest hacks in history, this allowed Sushchin's associates to access

email accounts into 2015 and 2016.

Though both Clinton and Abedin woefully mishandled classified information, they were never prosecuted

because an investigation led by disgraced FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok

found that they should not be.

"We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private email accounts of individuals

with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her private account," Comey

said as he exonerated Clinton.

One of President Trump's promises during his campaign was to look at trade agreements

between the US and all other countries.

He recently crushed China with huge tariffs on steel, saying that America has been taken

advantage of when it comes to trade.

His purpose in creating these massive tariffs has always been to re-negotiate the deal.

Something Trump has been famous for throughout his business deals in the private sector.

This week the president has taken aim at another industry, and now these companies stocks are

tumbling.

If you enjoy luxury brand vehicles, some might be very hard to buy in the near future.

According to The Hill:

Several U.S. and European diplomats told the news outlets that Trump told French President

Emmanuel Macron about his plans last month during a state visit.

Trump reportedly told Macron that he would maintain the ban until no Mercedes-Benz cars

are seen on Fifth Avenue in New York.

Shares of Daimler, Porsche and Volkswagen were lower on Thursday, shortly after the

weekly German business magazine published the report.

The Hill has reached out to the White House for comment.

The report comes a week after Trump ordered Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross to investigate

auto tariffs and probe whether car imports are a danger to national security.

A similar national security argument was used when Trump placed steep tariffs on aluminum

and steel imports in March.

Trump and congressional Republicans are preparing to clash over the proposed tariffs, which

could be as high as 25 percent.

A number of German automakers have plants in the U.S., including Mercedes-Benz in Alabama

and BMW in South Carolina.

That isn't where the hits ended, Today Trump levied huge tariffs on aluminum and steel

to some of our closest allies, Canada Mexico and the EU.

The Hill reports:

The Trump administration will levy hefty steel and aluminum tariffs on the European Union,

Canada and Mexico starting on Friday, a move that brought threats of retaliation from the

major trading partners.

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said that President Trump had decided on Thursday morning to end

the temporary exemptions for the three key trading allies despite their two months of

lobbying to avoid the tariffs, raising tensions among the economic partners.

"We look forward to continued negotiations with Canada and Mexico on one hand and with

the European Commission on the other hand as there are other issues we need to get resolved,"

Ross told reporters on a conference call.

Mexico and the EU were swift in saying they would follow through on their promises to

impose retaliatory tariffs on U.S. exports.

In a statement, the EU referred to a 10-page list of possible targets they produced in

March after Trump first announced the potential tariffs.

The EU had vowed to levy tariffs of $3.3 billion on iconic American products such as Kentucky

bourbon, jeans and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

European leaders also said they would proceed with a complaint at the World Trade Organization

(WTO).

"We did everything to avoid this outcome," said EU Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström,

who called it "a bad day for world trade."

"This is protectionism, pure and simple," said Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the

European Commission.

Canada and Mexico have said the tariffs are unacceptable and that imports of steel and

aluminum don't affect U.S. national security.

They warned the tariffs could put the fate of the North American Free Trade Agreement

(NAFTA) at stake.

While things look glum for trade, have no fear.

Trump is a Shrewd businessman.

He is fearless in negotiation and will always get the deal he wants or there is no deal.

I this case he knows a no deal would hurt other countries much worse than it would hurt

America.

Just like China, all of these countries will fall in line and it will mean huge business

for American businesses and billions in savings.

The president has always hated NAFTA, today another campaign promise was signed and we're

another step closer to "Making America Great Again."
