3 Months Later, Parkland Shooter's Controversial Connection To Obama Surfaces.

Nearly three months have now passed since the Valentine's Day shooting at Marjory

Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Seventeen lives were lost on that fateful day when crazed gunman Nikolas Cruz stormed

the halls of his former high school, and opened fire on the unsuspecting staff and students

inside.

Now, we have learned that Cruz has a very "controversial" connection to former President

Barack Obama, and the media definitely doesn't want you to know about it.

According to The Daily Wire, local Florida media reported that Nikolas Cruz was assigned

to a controversial Obama-era disciplinary program, which the Broward County Public Schools

superintendent previously denied existed on more than one occasions.

Superintendent Robert W. Runcie implemented the PROMISE Program in Broward County Public

Schools in 2013 at the direction, of the Obama administration's efforts to reduce the number

of minority students, who ended up in prison for crimes that they committed.

Famed conservative commentator Ben Shapiro analyzed a report surrounding the PROMISE

Program, and wrote that Broward County Public Schools "had rewritten its disciplinary

policies to make it nearly impossible to suspend, expel, or arrest students for behavioral problems

including criminal activity."

Broward school district officials admitted Sunday, that the confessed Marjory Stoneman

Douglas High School gunman was assigned to a controversial disciplinary program, after

the superintendent repeatedly claimed Nikolas Cruz had "no connection", to the alternative

punishment designed to limit on-campus arrests.

Two sources with knowledge of Cruz's discipline records told WLRN he was referred to the so-called

PROMISE Program for a three-day stint, after committing vandalism at Westglades Middle

School in 2013.

Former President Barack Obama notoriously fought to reduce the number of minority individuals

behind bars, arguing that there is a disproportionate amount of blacks and Hispanics in prison.

Of course, even a brief look at the statistics will show that there are a "disproportionate"

amount of minority individuals in prison, because the vast majority of crimes are committed

by blacks and Hispanics.

In other words, it makes complete sense that there would be more of them locked up.

Obama's efforts extended as far as the grade school level, where he sought to ensure that

an equal number of minority students and white students were suspended.

This was a horrible idea for a slew of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that the

policy is horribly racist; deciding whether or not to suspend a student based on their

skin color is the definition of racism.

Besides that, you have the fact that there are areas where the vast majority of students

are from a certain demographic.

It simply does not make sense to try to suspend an equal number of minority, and Caucasian

students when there aren't an equal amount of minority and Caucasian students at the

school, to begin with.

Moreover, there are students like Nikolas Cruz who desperately need discipline, lest

they turn into the sort of out-of-control monster who one day shoots up a school.

Allowing kids like Cruz to get away with their bad behavior just so you can say there are

fewer minorities, behind bars can have some very severe consequences, as we have now seen.

We could go on and on discussing the reasons that Obama's PROMISE Program was a terrible

idea, but we don't have to because, sadly, we now have cold, hard proof in the form of

Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz that the initiative was a massive failure.

The feud that has been simmering on a low boil for months between Congress and the Justice

Department, has finally boiled over, erupting into a full-fledged cage match this week.

Many people believe this could be the House Intelligence Committee is closing in and the

noose is ever tightening.

Most recently, 11 members of Congress are now yet again sending a signed a letter to

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Chris Wray, and U.S. Attorney John Huber asking

them, yet again to conduct a criminal investigation into multiple members of the Obama administration.

The letter specifically demands a criminal investigation be launched into the conduct,

and actions of former FBI Director James Comey, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,

former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and anti-Trump

FBI officials Peter Stzrok and Lisa Page.

Lawmakers wrote in a letter released by Rep. Ron DeSantis,

"In doing so, we are especially mindful of the dissimilar degrees of zealousness that

has marked the investigations into Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the

presidential campaign of Donald Trump.

Those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American."

the lawmakers stated while also insisting that any violations of law need to be "vetted

appropriately."

The lawmakers argue that Comey mishandled the criminal investigation into Hillary over

her use of a private email server, claiming that the investigation was "motivated by

a political agenda."

Subpoenas and various demands for information continue to go back and forth and until this

week, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and his subordinates at the department fought

the continued Congressional demands, for information with the tools of banal bureaucracy resist,

delay, ignore, negotiate.

Yet Rosenstein decided to kick it up a notch by recently accusing House Republicans of

"threats," extortion and wanting to "rummage" through department documents.

Meanwhile, the New York Times is dropping stories with the usual "anonymous sources"

with new accusations claiming "Mr. Rosenstein, and top FBI officials have come to suspect

that some lawmakers were using their oversight authority to gain intelligence about investigation,

so that it could be shared with the White House."

Yet clearly Rosenstein is not worried in the slightest about "rummaging" he is simply

diverting attention from the Bureau's concern, with the exact opposite conversation in that

the FBI is being required to comply with very specific and revealing, along with potentially

damaging demands.

Justice Department was recently delivered first a classified House Intelligence Committee

letter, and then a subpoena demanding documents related to a new line of inquiry about the

Federal Bureau of Investigation's Trump investigation.

The deadline for complying with the subpoena was Thursday afternoon, and the Justice Department

flouted it.

As the White House is undoubtedly monitoring any new congressional demands for information,

it is likely that President Trump's tweet Wednesday ripping the department for not turning,

over documents was in part a reference to this latest demand.

Memos from May 2017, show Rosenstein throwing Comey under the bus slamming Comey for making

"serious mistakes" throughout the course of the investigation.

"Almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes; it is one of the few

issues that unites people of diverse perspectives," Rosenstein wrote.

"The way (Comey) handled the conclusion of the email investigation was wrong."

Yet Comey has thrown former President Obama and his Attorney General Loretta Lynch under

the bus, claiming they "jeopardized" the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

In his book, A Higher Loyalty, Comey defends the FBI investigators who were charged with

investigating Hillary's private email server and her mishandling of classified information.

"I never heard anyone on our team not one take a position that seemed driven by their

personal political motivations.

And more than that: I never heard an argument or observation I thought came from a political

bias.

Never," Comey writes in his book.

"Instead we debated, argued, listened, reflected, agonized, played devil's advocate, and even

found opportunities to laugh as we hashed out major decisions."

Comey stated of Obama

"Contributing to this problem, regrettably, was President Obama.

He had jeopardized the Department of Justice's credibility in the investigation by saying

in a 60 Minutes interview on Oct. 11, 2015, that Clinton's email use was "a mistake"

that had not endangered national security.

Then on Fox News on April 10, 2016, he said that Clinton may have been careless but did

not do anything to intentionally harm national security, suggesting that the case involved

overclassification of material in the government.

President Obama is a very smart man who understands the law very well.

To this day, I don't know why he spoke about the case publicly, and seemed to absolve her

before a final determination was made.

If the president had already decided the matter, an outside observer could reasonably wonder,

how on earth could his Department of Justice do anything other than follow his lead."

Comey said Obama's public statements about the investigation "jeopardized" the investigation's

credibility in multiple interviews, and seemed to absolve Hillary of any crime before FBI

investigators completed their work.

"The truth was that the president as far as I knew, anyway he had only as much information

as anyone following it in the media.

He had not been briefed on our work at all.

And if he was following the media, he knew nothing, because there had been no leaks at

all up until that point.

But, his comments still set all of us up for corrosive attacks if the case were completed

with no charges brought."

Both Obama and Lynch have condemned Comey's interpretation of the facts, and for his accusation

that she aligned the FBI's terminology on Hillary's email case with Democratic messaging.

Lynch responded with this scathing statement,

"I have known James Comey almost 30 years.

Throughout his time as director, we spoke regularly about some of the most sensitive

issues in law enforcement and national security.

If he had any concerns regarding the email investigation, classified or not, he had ample

opportunities to raise them with me both privately and in meetings.

He never did."

a letter directly to the Attorney General of the United States.

offices and homes of Michael Cohen.

The letter explains, "since the raid was distinct from the Russia investigation, Special

Counsel Robert Mueller referred the matter to the Southern District of New York."

The letter from the lawmakers then says it was understood that it was Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein who "approved the decision to seek a warrant."

Furthermore, the congressmen want to know if AG JEFF SESSIONS was also involved in the

decision!

Just recently, the FBI told Congress to pound sand when the House Intelligence Committee

requested text messages between two FBI agents who were critical of President Trump.

The FBI will not attempt to obtain messages exchanged on the personal devices of Peter

Strzok and Lisa Page, the FBI officials who came under fire after it was revealed they

exchanged text messages critical of President Trump, despite requests to do so from a top

Republican senator.

Charles Thorley, the acting assistant director of the FBI's office of congressional affairs,

wrote in a letter this week to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, that FBI

employees are "required to adhere to record keeping policies in place where communications

constitute records under the Federal Records Act."

He added in the letter that "the FBI is not otherwise obligated to collect and/or

retain all communications between its employees."

"Thus, the FBI has not requested from Ms. Page or Mr. Strzok any information from their

personal email accounts, nor as the FBI conducted searches of non-FBI-issued communications

devices or non-FBI email accounts associated with Mr. Strzok or Ms. Page," he said.

But Grassley argued that the FBI's letter did not address many of the questions he had

asked in a January letter about communications between Strzok and Page.

Both the FBI and DOJ are under a lot of heat from Congress.

could be the ultimate nightmare for Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who may lose his legal

case against Paul Manafort, according to an extraordinary May 4 exchange in the U.S. District

A dismissal could be a major wrecking ball to Mueller's overall case in his Russian

collusion case against President Donald Trump.

Amid Friday's legal event, Ellis was best known for invoking an NFL term to dismiss

Mueller's legal posture, saying "C'mon man!" as he challenged the special counsel's

attempt to drag an unrelated bank fraud case back in 2005 to indict Manafort.

Those charges are well beyond Mueller's original mandate to investigate alleged collusion

with Russia in 2016 and had to be dismissed, the judge said, according to the hearing transcript.

"If I look at the indictment, none of that information has anything to do with links

or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign

of Donald Trump," he lectured Michael Dreebeen, Mueller's lawyer in the court room.

"So I don't see what relation this indictment has with anything the special prosecutor is

authorized to investigate."

If Paul Manafort's case gets dismissed it may be

Fox News' Maria Bartiromo with breaking news the Department of Justice is responding

to Nunes right now.

As reported by saraacarter.com "Disclosure of responsive information to

such requests can risk severe consequences, including potential loss of human lives, damage

to relationships with valued international partners, compromise of ongoing criminal investigations,

and interference with intelligence activities," stated the May, 3 letter from Assistant Attorney

General Stephen Boyd.

"After careful evaluation and following consultations with the Office of the Director

of National Intelligence, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the White House, the

Department has determined that, consistent with applicable law and longstanding Executive

Branch policy, it is not in a position to provide the information responsive to your

request regarding a specific individual," the letter states.

Wolfgang told me that his business empire is worth almost $600 million a year,

is actually enrolled in Harvard Business School right now.

So now I'm going to go for one more month.

And then I'm going to be a graduate from Harvard without going to high school or college

or anything.

So I'm very proud of that, because I think I can tell my kids now,

they have to go to college too.

Wolfgang said that Harvard has honed his negotiation skills.

I learnt about it that you have to actually figure out in your head or on paper

what is the other person negotiating?

So that way, you know how far they can go and how far you will go.

So, instead in the old time, I used to negotiate.

I said, it's my way or the highway.

If you don't like it, forget about it.

So, what would Wolfgang teach if he had a class at Harvard?
