USA news on Youtube May 22 2018

Thank you to brilliant dot org for supporting PBS Digital Studios.

Seventy percent of Earth is covered in water.

That's every last drop in the oceans, in clouds, in icecaps, in your body.

And even less of that is fresh water.

All that water together would fill a sphere only 860 miles (about 1,385 kilometers) in

diameter.

Water is one of the things that makes Earth so special and without it, life as we know

it couldn't exist.

Was our home always a waterpark?

If not, how did it all get here?

What do we really know about Earth's H-two-Origins?

[INTRO]

The solar system formed when a cloud of gas and dust collapsed into a swirling disk.

And at least some of that cloud was water.

In the orbit where Earth would one day be, the young sun's intense heat prevented water

vapor from condensing on its own.

But tiny grains of dust acted as 'condensation nuclei' to let droplets form.

These tiny debris particles coalesced into our young planet along with the water they

carried.

As Earth cooled, rocks in the crust reacted with chemicals in the early atmosphere to

create more water molecules.

Water existed inside Earth's mantle, but not as independent H-two-O molecules, rather it

separated into H's and OH's in the rock.

We don't know exactly how much water is still locked inside Earth today, but there

may be several oceans' worth of primordial H2O embedded within minerals, or even as ice

inside diamonds deep underground.

This explains some of Earth's water, but much—if not most—of the water on the surface

today was imported from farther out in the solar system.

One type of asteroid called a 'carbonaceous chondrite' contains water molecules, and

also their raw ingredients, oxygen and hydrogen.

During the early years of the solar system, we think Jupiter may have orbited closer to

the Sun than it does today.

Its gravity would've flung thousands of these watery asteroids toward the young Earth.

But comets also hold a lot of water ice, and there are billions of them zipping around

the solar system.

If they crashed into early Earth they could have brought water too.

So how can we tell if most of our water came from asteroids or comets?

Every water molecule contains two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen.

But a tiny fraction of the hydrogen atoms in water have an extra neutron in their nucleus.

Comet water and asteroid water have different ratios of these heavy hydrogens to normal

hydrogens.

The atomic fingerprint of the water we find on Earth doesn't quite match what we see

in comets, but the water in asteroids is a closer match.

Like many things in science, we can't be 100% sure yet, but so far it seems that most

of our water came from asteroids.

So Earth probably got its water in multiple ways.

Some was built into the planet.

Earth made a bit on its own.

And the rest—was delivered by space rocks.

But where did all this water come from… before the solar system?

Astronomers have detected water all over the cosmos.

They've seen it in clouds of gas between stars and in other planet-forming disks.

Around one supermassive black hole, they've even detected a reservoir of water 140 trillion

times heavier than Earth's oceans.

This space fog is far enough away that it, and its water, must have existed at least

12 billion years ago, and maybe earlier.

So how old is the universe's oldest water?

All of the universe's hydrogen was made during the Big Bang, but oxygen is only produced

inside the nuclear furnace of stars.

So water could have formed as soon as the very first stars in the universe ignited,

about 12.7 billion years ago at the earliest.

A tiny fraction of the air we breathe–and the water we drink today–contains some of

these very first oxygen atoms.

Why do we care so much about the history of something as seemingly boring as a glass of

water?

The earlier there was water in the universe, the earlier there could've been watery planets.

And the earlier there were watery planets, the more time there could be for life to evolve.

That's a refreshing thought.

Stay curious.

Thank you to brilliant dot org for supporting PBS Digital Studios.

Water has been essential to the development of life on Earth, but knowing the age of water,

and where water might exist in our galaxy is one of the best clues astronomers have

for figuring the odds of extraterrestrial life.

How do astronomers actually LOOK for other worlds though?

If you're *thirsty* for answers to that and other astronomy questions, Brilliant has

a course all about astronomy.

It includes a breadth of knowledge about the cosmos, and lessons like "Worlds Beyond

Earth" teach you the tools that astronomers use to search for and study planets outside

our own solar system.

Brilliant's lessons are broken up into bite-size pieces, with instruction designed to guide

you through problems.

Learning about astronomy is about more than facts and memorizing.

Staying curious is about learning how to learn anything.

Fees associated with 401K - Duration: 6:05.

so you're still not clear on some of the different fees that are associated with

your 401k well in this video I want to help to clarify some of those for you

and give you some more insight coming up

hey there it's Billy with KeePon Cashflow helping

you to grow your money and your mindset so that you can get closer to the

lifestyle that you really want to lead faster now on this channel we're going

to be sharing lots of tips and strategy videos just like this one so if it's

your first time here why don't you go ahead and subscribe to the chin and you

also want to make sure that you check out the comments and the links that are

in the section below because you're going to get a lot of value and you're

gonna help the community to grow but as for today I want to talk to you about

some of those different fees that are associated with the 401k and also how

that could potentially impact you if one of the reasons that I started thinking

about this I wanted to share with you was I was thinking about a study that

was done by the AARP and and in this survey it's actually stated that some 71

percent of retirees were unaware that there were fees associated with the 401k

plan so what I want to do is bring to you some of the different fees that are

associated with your 401 k plan so it can help you make better decisions as

you move forward or just better understand what are some of the impacts

that these fees can have on you first of all I want to talk to you about what is

known as different types of sales commissions more or less and more than

less but there are the front end and the back end loads is what they call them so

if you hear about a front-end load it basically means you're paying a sales

commission from the very beginning for work that's going to be done on on your

portfolio if you pay on the back end load basically it means at retirement

they're going to start to take money out in terms of the the Commission for for

the sales you also have things like management fees which can are fees that

are associated with the management of the overall portfolio or think about it

as management your of your money you have different

types another type of fee that you commonly find our director or trustees

fees you can find things like legal fees you can also find things like audit fees

so see that these are a number of the different fees that when you look at

your prospectus of your 401k it will really talk to you about these fees and

more specifically as it relates to an individual perspectives or an

explanation of what's inside the 401k that will help you understand a lot more

there are also other couple types of fees for instance a shareholder fee that

you may that you may find and basically anyone who is a shareholder of a

particular 401k or that are the funds in which they invest don't think about this

more as the administrative fees that are used to make sure that you're informed

you get communication things like that that are in the that are that are part

of the fee and then lastly I want to talk to you about different service fees

service fees that could be associated sometimes you may ask yourself a wire

service fee is not part of of the shareholder service fees but that will

depend on each cycle 401k and each individual prospectus and then lastly as

I mentioned you can also pay things like brokerage fees and the brokerage fees

are fees that are paid to that specific custodian or broker of the of the 401k

plan there's even one that's kind of special and that's the 12 B 1 fee and

the 12 B 1 fee is something that was started back in the 1940s for actual

neutral fund companies to go out and be able to use advertising to to bring in

more people for for funds so if somebody's 12 B 1 still exists today

it's maybe one of the questions you may want to ask the person who is advising

on your 401 K if that is one of the fees that's associated so as I mentioned

before it's sometimes these fees anywhere can effect I guess on the low

end all of these fees combined can be as low as probably 0.5% may be as high as

5% of the overall value within the

within the 401k you really need to check that with whoever your custodian is and

they can best advise you there so more than anything else what I wanted to make

sure is that you were aware of this information that you did understand that

there were fees that are associated with the 401k and you'll want to do

potentially an exercise now I talked - why am i also sharing this with you

because you'll want to understand that from the difference between a 3% return

and a 5% return if you look at that over 20 25 or 30 years which typically these

retirement plans are are used to supplement your income it can make a

really big difference I even like to go online I like to Google things like

compound interest calculators you can find out for instance if you use

$100,000 let's say you put in a thousand every year you do that at 5%

then you'd attract or you subtract the different fees that are associated with

that gives you a net value and you can actually see the difference between 1 or

2 percent over 20 or 30 years I can make a really big impact in terms of your

nest that your nest egg at the end of retirement so as you know I always love

to leave you with a question of the day so I've talked to you about a number of

different 401k fees that are associated I'd like to know from you which of these

fees was the newest fee that you were unaware of if you're unaware of all of

them go ahead and leave that in the comments in the section below so that

you can also share that with other people and also I'd love to understand

once you've gone to the to the compound interest calculator what kind of results

did it give you and what was the difference between 1 or 2 percent over

that 20 to 30 year period so this is Billy kids will keep on cashflow it's my

two cents for today and as always Hasta la Próxima!

Devin Nunes Is About To Get His Hands On The THING That Deep State Fears Most - Duration: 11:11.

Devin Nunes Is About To Get His Hands On The THING That Deep State Fears Most

Devin Nunes and Donald Trump's battle against the Deep State is coming to a head.

After weeks of cover up, Trump ordered the Department of Justice to stop stonewalling

Congress.

And now Devin Nunes is about to get his hands on the smoking gun that could tear the Deep

State apart.

Trump rocked Washington when he tweeted that he would exercise his Constitutional power

as head of the executive branch and order the Justice Department to investigate allegations

that the FBI attempted to plant a spy inside the Trump campaign.

This led to a meeting at the White House between Trump and FBI Director Christopher Wray and

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

The outcome of the meeting is that the DOJ and the FBI will give the classified documents

about the Russia probe to Nunes and other Congressional leaders.

The Washington Examiner reports:

"PRESIDENT TRUMP LEFT A MONDAY MEETING WITH FBI DIRECTOR CHRISTOPHER WRAY AND DEPUTY ATTORNEY

GENERAL ROD ROSENSTEIN WITH AN AGREEMENT ON FUTURE STEPS TO FACILITATE THE RELEASE OF

RUSSIA-PROBE DOCUMENTS TO CONGRESS.

WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY SARAH SANDERS SAID THE MEN "AGREED THAT WHITE HOUSE CHIEF

OF STAFF KELLY WILL IMMEDIATELY SET UP A MEETING WITH THE FBI, DOJ, AND DNI TOGETHER WITH CONGRESSIONAL

LEADERS TO REVIEW HIGHLY CLASSIFIED AND OTHER INFORMATION THEY HAVE REQUESTED."

HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE REPUBLICANS LED BY CHAIRMAN REP.

DEVIN NUNES, R-CALIF., HAVE SOUGHT UNSUCCESSFULLY TO SEE CERTAIN DOCUMENTS ON THE FBI'S PROBE

OF POSSIBLE TRUMP CAMPAIGN COLLUSION WITH RUSSIA, INCLUDING ON ITS USE OF AN INFORMANT."

The last time Nunes attended a closed door meeting with Justice Department and FBI officials,

rogue actors in both agencies immediately began leaking about the meeting.

These bad faith actors lied to the press, saying that Trump sided against Nunes on matters

of keeping documents and information secret.

But Nunes is about to get the last laugh.

For months he has been pressing for information as to how this nonsensical Russia collusion

investigation started and exactly what activities the FBI and other agencies engaged in –including

developing a spy ring to infiltrate the Trump campaign – and what were the sources of

their information.

Officials at the DOJ and FBI have orchestrated a cover up because the answers will likely

prove embarrassing.

The FBI sicced a spy on the Trump campaign.

This spy – as well as the Hillary Clinton funded Christopher Steele dossier – were

the FBI's unreliable sources of information that led to the opening of the investigation.

Devin Nunes and other Congressional leaders will finally get the full picture of a scandal

that is much worse than Watergate.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in

this story.

Bombshell Story About The FBI Spying On Trump Just Took A Turn For The Worse - Duration: 11:11.

Bombshell Story About The FBI Spying On Trump Just Took A Turn For The Worse

The revelation that the FBI unleashed a spy on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election

was just the tip of the iceberg.

New details reveal the story is even worse than anyone thought.

A bombshell report about what the spy did after the election has everyone up in arms.

Alleged spy Stefan Halper did not stand down after the election.

Halper continued running active measures against Donald Trump even though he was President.

This included attempting to weasel his way into the administration by pitching himself

for an Ambassador post.

Axios reports:

"PRESIDENT TRUMP'S TOP TRADE ADVISER, PETER NAVARRO, RECOMMENDED APPOINTING STEFAN

HALPER, AN ACADEMIC AND SUSPECTED FBI INFORMANT ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN, TO A SENIOR ROLE IN

THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, AXIOS HAS LEARNED.

BEHIND THE SCENES: DURING THE PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION NAVARRO RECOMMENDED HALPER, AMONG

OTHER PEOPLE, FOR AMBASSADOR ROLES IN ASIA.

A WHITE HOUSE OFFICIAL SAID HALPER VISITED THE EISENHOWER EXECUTIVE OFFICE BUILDING LAST

AUGUST FOR A MEETING ABOUT CHINA.

CONTEXT: DURING THE TRANSITION EVERYONE INVOLVED IN TRUMP'S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN WERE ASKED

TO SUBMIT RESUMES FOR ADMINISTRATION POSITIONS.

HALPER, WHO ALREADY KNEW NAVARRO IN THE CONTEXT OF BEING A CHINA SCHOLAR AND INTERVIEWING

FOR HIS ANTI-CHINA BOOK AND FILM, PITCHED HIMSELF FOR AN AMBASSADORSHIP IN ASIA, ACCORDING

TO A SOURCE BRIEFED ON THEIR INTERACTIONS.

NAVARRO SAYS HE SUBMITTED HALPER'S NAME FOR THE ASIAN AMBASSADORSHIP — WE HAVE NOT

BEEN ABLE TO CONFIRM THE COUNTRY — ALONG WITH AROUND A DOZEN OTHER PEOPLE FOR ROLES

IN THE REGION."

The story only escalated from there.

Former Trump campaign advisor Michael Caputo appeared on Fox News and stated that a second

spy was dispatched and tried to work him for information.

And Caputo also declared that the FBI was not the only agency that tried to infiltrate

the campaign.

Trump supporters believe the CIA was the other agency that worked with the FBI on building

a spy ring to penetrate the Trump campaign.

Former CIA Director John Brennan is a vocal critic of the President and conservatives

point to Harry Reid claiming Brennan used Reid to leak information planted by Brennan

about the Trump campaign and Russia.

The Daily Caller reports:

"REID ALSO HAD THE IMPRESSION THAT BRENNAN HAD AN ULTERIOR MOTIVE.

HE CONCLUDED THE CIA CHIEF BELIEVED THE PUBLIC NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT THE RUSSIAN OPERATION,

INCLUDING THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSSIBLE LINKS TO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN."

ACCORDING TO THE BOOK, BRENNAN TOLD REID THAT THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY HAD DETERMINED

THAT THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT WAS BEHIND THE HACK AND LEAK OF DEMOCRATIC EMAILS AND THAT

RUSSIAN PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN WAS BEHIND IT.

BRENNAN ALSO TOLD REID THAT THERE WAS EVIDENCE THAT RUSSIAN OPERATIVES WERE ATTEMPTING TO

TAMPER WITH ELECTION RESULTS.

REID'S LETTER REFERRED TO SOME PUBLIC REPORTING ABOUT TRUMP CAMPAIGN ASSOCIATES' LINKS TO

THE KREMLIN, BUT HE ALSO INCLUDED A REFERENCE TO INFORMATION THAT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN MADE

PUBLIC AT THE TIME.

HE CITED ALLEGATIONS THAT WERE INCLUDED IN THE INFAMOUS STEELE DOSSIER ABOUT CARTER PAGE,

AN ADVISER TO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AT THE TIME."

These reports are leading critics to ask serious questions.

First, was Halper ordered to continue his covert operation against Donald Trump after

the election or was this a mission he undertook on his own without any prompting from his

FBI handlers?

Second, how many undercover operatives made up the spy ring that the Obama administration

unleashed against the Trump campaign?

This mushrooming scandal is already worse than Watergate and many feel these blockbuster

reports are just scratching the surface of the abuse of power and wrongdoing carried

out by the Obama administration.

3 Stocks To Buy In June 2018? - Duration: 5:29.

It's that time of the month we're going to be talking about 3 stocks for June this

year.

Now all 3 of these stocks would be considered value investments.

They all have intrinsic values that I believe are below their price tag.

Now 2 of these stocks I think are doing some real good in society, especially my last pick.

And my last pick is one in which the 2nd richest man in the world Bill Gates, is highly invested

in.

If you can guess which stock this is before I mention it, I'll be very impressed, let

us know in the comments if you did.

So straight to Stock 1: Annaly Capital Management, ticker symbol: NLY

Annaly Capital Management is a company from Maryland United States and they are one of

the largest mortgage real estate investment trusts.

Now what the heck is a mortgage real estate investment trust?

It's big bunch words but what it means is pretty simple.

They buy mortgages and in return they get the interest earned from mortgages.

But the tricky thing is they also borrow money in order to buy the mortgages.

It's a thorny business model that takes a bit of reading to get your head around so

any investors who don't think they are capable of understanding it, move on to my next stock

pick.

For those who think they might be able to, I'll show you why I like this stock.

And to do that we're going to take to look at it's fundamentals.

1 share in this company is currently selling for a price of $10.40.

For that share you will get a return of $1.37.

This gives it a really low P/E ratio of 7.59.

That is the reason why I like it.

Because of it's low P/E. With a market that has an average p/e ratio of 24.69, 7.59 is

what a 3rd of that.

Also for all those dividend lovers you'd probably enjoy this stock as it pays a fat

dividend yield of 11.49%.

If we take a look at their past earnings figures we can see that they have grown them pretty

strongly.

But again that is a risk, what if they can't maintain the earnings that they are producing.

If we way up the risks rewards I'm prepared to say its one of the better stocks out there.

Stock 2: United Therapeutics Corporation, ticker symbol: UTHR

Now United Therapeutics is also founded in Maryland USA, and it is a biotechnology company.

So they focus on developing and commercializing products for treating chronic and life-threatening

conditions.

If we have any doctors out there I'm sure they'll have a better understanding than

me of the types of products that this company produces.

But some of things that they are treating include pulmonary arterial hypertension, neuroblastoma

and they are also engaged in early stage research of organ transplantation.

So you can see what I mean when I say that they are most likely doing good in society.

And probably the main reason why I like this stock is their numbers.

As you can see the price tag is $106.

And their earnings are $9.30 per share.

Again, another stock with a low p/e ratio, which I love.

This company doesn't pay any dividends because they're engaged in research and development,

so that's where a lot of their earnings go.

But don't think this is a stock that comes with no risk, as most investors happened to

find in 2017, where their earnings dropped dramatically.

From $700 million to $400 million.

But looking at the fundamentals overall I like the numbers that they are currently at

especially when comparing them to other stocks out there.

Stock 3: Waste Management Inc, ticker symbol: WM

Waste Management does exactly what is said in the name, they manage waste.

This includes collecting the waste, transferring the waste, disposing the waste and recycling

the waste.

So you probably understand what I mean when I say it's doing good in society.

Their goal is to manage and reduce waste and also to try create renewable energy with the

gas from landfills.

Bill gates has pretty much 7% of his entire portfolio in this stock.

And by looking closer at it, it's got more to it than just being socially responsible.

It's considered a recession proof stock because people will always continue to produce

garbage.

No matter whether there is a recession or not.

It's got a decent p/e ratio of 18.48 and a cheeky dividend of 2.25%.

It's a solid size company as well which helps reduce risk.

Its market cap is over $35 billion.

I personally like it and wouldn't mind a big chunk of my portfolio in this stock like

Bill gates.

It's solid, safe sock that generally does well when the economy does well.

So those are my 3 stocks for June 2018.

Now the one thing I really wanted to say is do your own research.

In these videos I've only got what 5,6, 7 minutes to let you know the 3 stocks that

I've been looking at for a particular month.

There's only so much information I can give you in that time.

So it is so important that you do your own research before buying.

Buying without doing research is probably the dumbest investing mistake you can make.

And it's one I see a lot of new investors making.

So don't make this mistake learn to understand the stock before buying.

Don't forget to like the video if you want to see more videos along these lines.

Also if you want to learn more about the stock market, investing and personal finance then

hit that subscribe button and tap that notification bell beside it to stay one step ahead of other

investors.

New Announcement Means We Will Be Stuck With the Obamas for Years to Come. - Duration: 5:07.

New Announcement Means We Will Be Stuck With the Obamas for Years to Come.

An announcement hit the Internet revealing a multiyear deal the Obamas just struck.

It means Americans will be forced to put up with Barack and Michelle for much longer than

we had hoped.

The Obamas just might be the most egotistical family in American history, rivaled only by

the Clintons.

After nearly destroying our country over the course of eight years, Barry and Michelle

said, "We're not done."

Barack Obama was able to win over voters in 2008 with a vague promise of "hope."

Hope for what?

Installing socialism onto America?

Despite getting very close, the tyrannical president failed.

All his policies, "achievements," and intentions for our country only made things

worse.

Let's think about that.

The first black President was in office when the terrorist group, Black Lives Matter, was

founded.

This is a group that turns black people against white people and portrays police as villains,

and it was created on Barry's watch.

It was largely thanks to his irresponsible comments.

Occupy Wall Street happened under Obama.

A pathetic, communist-driven attack on our economic system was all but endorsed by the

White House.

Funny how they mobilized during a liberal's administration.

Yet despite bickering about corruption in the free market, nothing changed.

It seems like Obama wasn't very quick to take down Wall Street, although he let those

protesters destroy much of downtown New York.

We don't have to get into his immigration policy, which invited drug cartels and rapists

into the country.

Or his constantly placating to foreign powers, including enemies like Iran.

Or his agreeing to join the Paris Climate Accord, which would have cost us 6 million

jobs over the next 25 years (he did that without consent from Congress or the American people).

And who can forget Obamacare — a program so terrible, it all but ensured Trump's

victory.

Americans made their voices heard when they elected a man who promised to undo every last

Obama achievement.

Yet the Obamas can't take the hint.

They are still desperate to cling to their fading fame.

While there are still a few obsessed fans in the country, the vast majority of us have

moved on.

The Obamas haven't.

They insist they stay in the limelight.

That includes a multi-million-dollar book deal, constant appearances online and on TV,

and now, a major deal that will ensure they appear in your home every night.

Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered a multiyear agreement to produce new films

and shows with Netflix.

The former president and first lady are determined to produce a diverse mix of content, including

a potential scripted series, an unscripted series, a docu-series, documentaries and features,

according to a press release from Netflix about the deal.

The streaming service revealed the projects will be available to their 125 million members

in 190 countries.

The couple also established Higher Ground Productions, which will serve as the entity

under which they will produce content for Netflix.

"One of the simple joys of our time in public service was getting to meet so many fascinating

people from all walks of life, and to help them share their experiences with a wider

audience," said former President Obama in a statement.

[Source: Fox News]

If there was ever a reason to switch to Hulu, we've got it.I mean, honestly, this is just

sad.

The Obamas had eight years to ruin our country.

Shouldn't they just retire?

But I guess once you get a taste of the spotlight, it's hard to let go.

Much like their buddy Hillary Clinton, the Obamas can't take the hint.

It's over.

Go away.

Let the country forget about you.

How can we miss you, if you won't go away?

This is an ongoing pattern with the former First Family.

The Obama library is shaping up to be a disaster.

Books and documents will be replaced with a basketball court and recording studio.

Because why bother reading when you're at a library?

Does Barack Obama's ego know no bounds?

When have we ever seen a former president this eager to soak up attention?

Even Bubba Clinton laid low for a while; even today, he spends more time speaking overseas

than in the U.S.

It's clear that as the Obamas watch their political legacy get torched by Trump, they

need something else to hang their reputations on.

The logical choice is to go into movies.

Hey, they've been producing fiction for years now.

It's a perfect fit!

Perhaps they could have spared us eight years of torture and just gone into show business

in the first place.

what do you think about this?
