USA news on Youtube May 17 2018

Assalamu Alaykum, my name is Naeem Muhammad and I'm the U.S. Programs Manager here at

Islamic Relief USA and I'd like to welcome you to this year's Ramadan

Reflections. Each year Islamic Relief brings it's Ramadan reflections a moment

each day in Ramadan to reflect on something special. This year

commemorating our 25th anniversary we're focusing on the 99 names of Allah so I'm

going to be starting off with Al-Latif, the gentle. Many times I think about this

attribute and reflect on it especially when I'm going through times of hardship

and reminding myself that Allah will get me through this I never have doubt that

I'll get through it but sometimes I know the task or what

will get me to the other side might be difficult and that's when I call along

this that I use this attribute or reflect on this attribute

ya Latif ya Latif to remind me and remind my heart that insha'Allah, Allah

will get me through this. This is a great reminder for us starting this month of

Ramadan in the summer time some people fasting so many hours a day in such

difficulties that we can call on him to give us that ease and as well as the

millions of people Islamic Relief serves around the world. We wish that Allah

brings ease to their lives so today we've reflect on Al-Latif.

Hillary Clinton Announces She's Leaving U.S.

Because Of Trump – Immediately Gets Bad News

Though it has been a year and a half, Hillary Clinton is still as devastated by her loss

in the presidential election to Donald Trump as she was when it happened.

Right Wing News reported that Clinton just reemerged to say she may considered moving

to New Zealand after the election to deal with her loss, but it didn't take long for

this to blow up in her face.

"I received a number of invitations from Kiwis to permanently relocate here," Clinton

said while promoting her book in Auckland.

"I must say I really appreciated the offers and gave them some thought, but I'm going

to stay put because we have work to do in my country as well."

She added that she wanted to help Democrats "crack the code" to beat Trump the "reality

TV" candidate" in 2020.

"Part of our problem was this unprecedented reality TV campaign and him being the first

reality TV candidate in our history," she reportedly said.

Clinton whined that reporters behaved as if they "were watching a car wreck or train

wreck all the time" in 2016 and "they couldn't take their eyes away."

"They didn't know what to make of it," Clinton said, referring to Trump's "insults

and his scapegoating and his horrible comments about people with disabilities and Latin Americans

and immigrants and everybody."

She added, "It was just so hard to understand."

This backfired on Clinton, however, when Twitter users made it clear she would not be missed

if she left the U.S.

Hillary Clinton's Newly Discovered Emails Released to Public – They Found Everything - Duration: 13:24.

Hillary Clinton's Newly-Discovered Emails Released to Public – They Found Everything

It was just revealed to the public that FBI director James Comey had Hillary Clinton's

backup email throughout the entire 2016 election cycle but never bothered to searched it.

Now, Clinton has received some bad news, as U.S. District Court Judge Randolph Moss has

ordered the State Department to hand over the contents of the backup device by September

2018.

Right Wing News reported that this means the device will have to come out right before

the midterm elections where Democrats believe they will be able to win back the house and

senate from the Republicans.

This ruling came thanks largely to the work of citizen researcher Larry Kawa, the determination

of Congressman Ron DeSantis, and the lawyers of Tom Fitton's Judicial Watch.

"The documents are part of the accelerated schedule of production ordered by U.S. District

Court Judge James E. Boasberg, which requires the State Department to complete processing

by September 28, 2018, the remaining documents of the 72,000 pages recovered by the FBI in

its investigation into Hillary Clinton's illicit email server," said Judicial Watch

attorneys.

"These new classified and other emails appear to be among those that Clinton had attempted

to delete or had otherwise failed to disclose."

This comes after House Republicans sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and

to FBI Directory Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney John Huber urging them to open an

investigation into Comey, Clinton and other DOJ officials involved in the Russia probe.

"We write to refer [Comey, Clinton and DOJ members] for investigation of potential violation(s)

of federal statutes … [and] are especially mindful of the dissimilar degrees of zealousness

that has marked the investigations into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the

presidential campaign of Donald Trump, respectively," the letter signed by 11 GOP lawmakers reads.

"Because we believe that those in positions of high authority should be treated the same

as every other American, we want to be sure that the potential violations of law outlined

below are vetted appropriately."

"Incredibly, [Comey's] judgment [that no reasonable prosecutor would bring a criminal

case against Clinton] appears to have been made prior to interviewing Secretary Clinton

and as many as 17 key witnesses – including Clinton's closest aides," the letter continues.

"Comey's decision to not seek charges against Clinton's misconduct suggests improper

investigative conduct, potentially motivated by a political agenda."

Look What Happened Immediately After John Kerry Was Spotted With Iranians - Duration: 13:12.

Look What Happened Immediately After John Kerry Was Spotted With Iranians

Before President Donald Trump pulled out of the Iran deal last week, former Secretary

of State John Kerry was spotted meeting with Iranian officials as he frantically tried

to save the deal.

Now, this has literally blown up in his face in a huge way.

Right Wing News reported that Jason Osborne, a former senior advisor to Donald Trump's

2016 campaign, took to Twitter to write about Kerry's treasonous antics in Iran.

"So John Kerry just left a meeting @ L'Avenue in Paris w/3 Iranians.

A friend was sitting next to their table and heard JK blasting @realDonaldTrump.

The Iranians had a 5 person security detail and left in diplomatic vehicles.

Is he FARA registered?" he tweeted.

One of the officials Kerry met with has since been identified as Kamal Kharzai, Iranian

politician, and diplomat, as well as Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs from August 1997

until 2005 These meetings have completely backfired,

however, as an Iranian organization is now offering a $100,000 reward to any person who

bombs the newly opened U.S. embassy in Jerusalem.

The group offering this bounty is the Iranian Justice Seeker Student Movement, which is

distributing posters calling for an attack on the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, which has

been opposed by Palestinian and Iranian officials as an affront to the holy city.

"The Student Justice Movement will support anybody who destroy the illegal American embassy

in Jerusalem," the posters state in Farsi, Arabic, and English.

There will be a "$100,000 dollar prize for the person who destroys the illegal American

embassy in Jerusalem," the poster continues.

Michael Rubin, a former Pentagon adviser, explained that terrorism of this nature is

embedded in the Iranian regime's hardline stance.

"Unfortunately, terrorism directed toward diplomats and embassies has become a central

pillar of the Islamic Republic's culture," Rubin said.

"Terrorism is lionized in Iranian schools.

This bounty is more the rule than the exception.

To blame Washington or Jerusalem is to blame the victim and give terrorists a veto over

U.S. policy."

It's disturbing that Kerry tried to save a deal by meeting with officials from a nation

that is so blatantly threatening the U.S.

Deciding Between College and University - Duration: 4:34.

Marie McCarron >> Deciding between college and

university can be a difficult decision.

One of the ways to start is to look at your strengths and interests

and trying to find a career path that matches those strengths and interests.

From there you can decide if a college or university

is the better setting for you.

Colleges tend to be focused on more specific careers.

They have more hands-on practical training and have smaller class sizes.

This generally allows for greater student to professor interaction.

They have certification programs, diploma programs and degree programs.

And some colleges offer partnerships with universities to grant both

a degree and a diploma at the same time.

Universities on the other hand, generally offer programs that are more theoretical in nature.

Classes tend to be lecture based and quite large. Depending on the size of the university

you may have more than 500 people in each of your first year classes.

The class size reduces the student-professor interaction and puts

the onus on the student to take initiative to speak to the professor.

University programs are academic based, can be three or

four year degrees and can lead to graduate or professional programs

such as teaching, medicine or law.

Jonathan English >> When I was in high school

I had this one placement in a kindergarten class that was amazing.

It was at a time where I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life

or what career I wanted. Did I want college? Did I want university?

Did I just want to work? Eventually I did choose college

and that was because I have a physical disability.

And the colleges had a small campus with one or two buildings.

And that was really beneficial to me to move around.

On top of that with college there was the opportunity to learn

in the classroom. But then as well go on a

one-on-one job shadowing placement where I could take

what I learned from the classroom and put it into use

right then and there every week. And for me that

just helped sink the information in right down.

Meeting with professors, they knew me on a name to name basis.

I was able to go up to any of the professors at any point,

ask for help if I didn't understand a question,

if I needed help with an assignment.

On top of that the program coordinator was

extremely helpful and we ended up setting up

me doing a course reduction.

So that way I could do the in-school work

and the placement and still graduate on time.

And eventually after my first month it no longer

felt like I was in school, I was in an institute of learning.

Instead for me it felt like I was home, it felt empowering,

it felt great. It was just a wonderful experience.

Aaron Bailey>> After high school I decided

to attend college because college offers career specific programs.

And I was very passionate about the child and youth worker program.

Therefore I looked at the course outline and found

that the specific courses were related to helping others

and it was a very hands-on learning experience.

College also provides smaller campuses and smaller

classroom sizes, which for me allowed me to go

talk to my professors about the needs that I have

and the accommodations that I need to help me succeed.

I also have learning disabilities and anxiety and for me

I thought college would better suit my needs to allow me

to develop the confidence and advocacy skills.

After 3 years of college I decided that I was ready

for a more theoretical background and decided to attend university.

At university I attended a smaller campus again to suit my needs,

and university helped me broaden my horizon and increase my job potential.

Marie McCarron >> As you can see people choose

college or university for a variety of reasons.

Where will your post-secondary journey begin?
