- We had to make a stop to take a photo of the marking on the road
It's pretty nice to drive this kind of empty road with no traffic
You can go at your own place. Feels like classic America.
- We stopped at a petrol station for a coffee
The road paving is pretty bad at times on the Route 66
We won't be driving it for too long as it's pretty bumpy and the stuff is flying around the car
Still quite interesting so we'll drive for a while more
It branches off from the main road so we'll drive until then at least
There's a sign that the road is cut off in 30 miles from here
It's not quite clear if it's a dead-end or if you can go somewhere from there though
I think it's nice to be here as there's no congestion or any hustle and bustle
We came here to see if we could get back to Route 66 from here
But the road was cut off in a way that we could have continued from the previous place
But because we took this road we can't continue from here, so we'll have to turn back
If we want to continue on the Route 66
We also thought we could stay overnight somewhere around here
I don't know. We'll need to have a think
My ears are still blocked from coming down
The road descended down here and I'm feeling a bit fluey
The ears are not popping
Can't hear a thing
It used to be a good place for accommodation
Doesn't look like anyone's staying there these days
So they have this kind of accommodation here. Want to stay overnight?

It's quite fun place. Worth the trip.
Even though we had to drive back a little bit
There's more motel rooms, but the fence makes them inaccessible
And there's our happy lodger

- That was a very interesting place

Old and well kept, had to buy something from there just for support
There's not too many visitors here so I doubt they make much money
Will we have a look what's on other side of the road?
We saw a kind of ball here inside one of the rooms and thought what's that

This kind of places make me feel kind of emotional
When they've been build to be great, and the situation has changed
Then everything has remained empty

We're trying to find "off-road parking" spot

Next we'll cook some sausages over a fire
And we have marshmallows
We can pretend to be American
Great atmosphere
