USA news on Youtube Dec 18 2017

Hi, I'm Paula Nieweem. Im the new EHS specialist

at the Rothschild plant. And I recently completed

my masters in public health at George Washington

University where I focused on environmental

public health. I also just moved to the Wausau

area in order to pursuit this opportunity.

So im really excited to try out new things

here and the first adventure that I got to

go on was to explore some new running routes

so that I could keep up with my workouts.

I bundled up against the single degree weather

we had the other day and went out for a couple

mile jog to try and explore things so that

was a a bit of a change. I dont normally run

outside in that kind of weather. Im very excited

to get to know everyone here, so feel free

to reach out to me and have a great day! Bye!

Jim Jordan Just Dropped a Shocker to Judge Jeanine — "We're going to subpoena" | MK Today - Duration: 3:04.

Jim Jordan just dropped a shocker to judge Jeanine we're going to subpoena as

there are no Republicans in Washington slowly get the message that conservative

Americans are through with the business as usual method of kowtowing to

democrats a new breed of republican fighters is emerging in congress trey

gowdy louie gohmert and Devin Nunes are leading the charge but standing shoulder

to shoulder with them in demanding answers is Ohio representative Jim

Jordan Jordan appeared on judge Jennings show on Saturday night and dropped a

major bomb shell about their plans for the FBI leadership from the Independent

Journal review website representative Jim Jordan r-ohio revealed on Saturday

that he wants to subpoena FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe all and Peter

stirs oak the FBI official who was removed from the agency's Russia probe

after his antitrump text messages came to light we're going to subpoena Andrew

McCabe subpoena Peter stirs oak Jordan said let's get all the documents let's

bring them in for depositions the Republican added let's put them on the

same witness stem that Rosen Stein sat in last week and session sat on a few

weeks ago wouldn't ask them the same tough questions so the American people

can get the answers Republicans have shifted their focus to McCabe after

thousands of Texas messages between stirs oak and fellow FBI official Lisa

Paige were released one of the messages included a reference to an insurance

policy against them candidate Donald Trump Fox News reported I want to

believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy's office that

there is no way he gets elected but I'm afraid we can't take that risk

stars oak texted on August 15 2016 it's like an insurance policy in the unlikely

event you die before you're 40 that's a text among deep Staters if ever there's

been one isn't it speculation of courses that Andy is of course Andrew McCabe and

that's not really a huge leap to make sense Lisa Paige the recipient of stirs

oaks text messages is McCabe's assistant what's chilling about it of course is

that they seem to be developing some sort of contingency plan to put into

effect to keep Trump out of the White House and subvert the will of the

American people also for my dr.com House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob

Goodlatte our Virginia told Fox and Friends the text message concerns him

the most and he is presumably Andrew McCabe and this text is very troubling

because it suggests that they're doing something they have a plan to take

action to make sure that Donald Trump does not get elected president of the

United States at the highest levels of the Federal Bureau of Investigation

Goodlatte said as much as the Liberals an FBI would like for - this isn't going

away anytime soon here's the video of Jordan's interview with judge Jeanine so

you can see it for yourself what do you think about this please share this news

Carbon Reduction Challenge - Duration: 2:07.

♪ [sentimental music] ♪

Dr. Kim Cobb: Today we are celebrating the accomplishments

of the Carbon Reduction Challenge,

a project that Beril Toktay and I run here at Georgia Tech.

The goal of the project is to partner students

with organizations, both locally and across the nation.

Over the course of one summer, we challenge the students

to design and, if possible, implement a strategy to reduce

carbon emissions and, at the same time,

deliver pretty massive savings to their corporate partners,

non-profit partners, and governmental partners.

Will Courrèges-Clercq: Doing a project like this

will make you realize what your carbon footprint is personally,

and how you can be a better world citizen,

and how you can contribute less to the impacts of climate change

on our planet.

Dr. Beril Toktay: One of the most important things

in the climate change solutions space

is not necessarily the technical solutions—which are out there—

but it's getting the buy-in

at the various levels of the company.

John Lanier: It's a priority of our foundation to identify

meaningful ways to scale carbon-friendly solutions—

solutions that can do their part in helping to reverse

global warming.

And we've been absolutely thrilled to see these students

take very seriously the job of reducing carbon

in new and innovative ways.

Sam Pak: The Carbon Reduction Challenge was a way to make

real, practical changes that make huge impacts

in carbon emissions reductions.

Dr. Beril Toktay: One of the most innovative aspects

of this challenge is that it teaches our students

that they can be sustainability ambassadors

no matter what their job function.

Dr. Kim Cobb: So much of what we task our students to do

in the classroom is 100 percent abstract.

But what this provides is real-world experience building.

We're providing, really, on-the-job training.

Their day jobs may be something else,

but the sliver of time that they've dedicated this summer

is called the Carbon Reduction Challenge.

And we're very excited to celebrate

the huge accomplishments that they've brought in today

to Georgia Tech.
