Hi guys!
I want to wish you a very, very merry Christmas from Berlin.
Marc and I have had the most incredible season just going around Europe
touring lots of different Christmas markets.
We were in Hungary
and Czech Republic,
Slovakia,
Austria,
and Poland,
and now we're in our sixth country in Germany
and we have had an incredible time in Berlin
touring around different Christmas markets here in the city.
We went to Alexanderplatz and saw the beautiful market at the base of that gorgeous tower I love so much
and then o utside there's another market, which I really loved,
and there's a huge Ferris wheel and a swing that the kids were absolutely loving.
We went to Gendarmenmarkt which felt very, very cozy
because there's these beautiful buildings surrounding you
and these gorgeous peaked white tents with stars that glow in the night sky right on top.
Now we're here at Berlin's Scandinavian market which feels really perfect.
If you don't know, Marc and I actually met in Iceland - some of our family is from Iceland -
and it just feels like the perfect place for us to be.
This market is so, so beautiful and, of course, has a different feeling because it is Scandinavian.
There are kids strapped into harnesses jumping on enormous trampolines,
there's an old fashioned game where the kids can practice their archery skills.
You can get Icelandic punch, which I'm definitely going to try.
There's a yurt where you can get something hot to drink and stay warm
and these big coats that you can put on that are sitting on top of a heater so you can warm up.
I know that this can be a difficult time of year as well
if you are far from home or maybe missing people that you love.
If you are, I understand and I'm sending you love and light.
If you're celebrating something else today, I hope you have a beautiful time celebrating.
If you're not celebrating today, I hope you just have a wonderful Monday.
But from Marc and I, I want to wish you a very merry Christmas from Berlin
and I will see you in my next video.
Bye!
