USA news on Youtube Feb 7 2019

On a scale of zero to some,

how many (beeping) do you give?

I think it's...

zero.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not

your normal politician.

At 29, she's the youngest woman ever elected

to Congress, and she's taken D.C. by storm.

So, why is AOC, as many now call her,

the newest political figure everyone loves or loves to hate?

We have the FAQs.

"Do you call yourself a radical?"

"Yeah, if that's what radical means, call me a radical."

She advocates medicare for all,

a marginal tax rate of up to 70%,

tuition-free public colleges and trade schools,

immigration, and human rights.

For the freshman democrat, environmentalism

is a driving issue.

"The world is gonna end in 12 years

if we don't address climate change.

This is our World War II."

AOC is calling for a Green New Deal,

a public-private partnership to shift the U.S.

to 100% renewable energy in 10 years.

Many experts say that's impossible,

especially if nuclear power -- which New Green Deal backers

oppose -- isn't in the mix.

AOC has said the deal would be funded in part

by a 70% marginal tax rate on incomes

after $10 million per year.

It doesn't mean all $10 million are taxed

at an extremely high rate, but it means

that as you climb up this ladder,

you should be contributing more.

President Trump and many conservatives

have a word for that: socialism.

We renew or resolve

that America will never be a socialist country.

"She's a socialist, she wants 10% tax rates,

those are both accurate, right?"

"Yeah, yeah I guess so."

"Okay."

"Democratic though, democratic."

"Democratic socialist."

"Democratic, very different."

Socialists believe in collective

verses individual ownership.

That collective can be the government,

workers, or citizens.

Democratic socialists are different.

They believe the government and private industry

can work hand-in-hand to provide a better

safety net for citizens.

This is an issue of authoritarian regime verses democracy.

As AOC begins to focus her media spotlight

on policy ideas, it's clear her supporters

and attractors alike are green with envy.

DIFERENCIAS ENTRE GUATEMALA Y USA! **ENGLISH SUBTITLES** - Duration: 5:03.

Hi everone! Welcome to a new video! Today I will talk about the differences of living in Guatemala and the USA

Whether the differences are big or small will depend on the country that you are coming from.

I am from Guatemala, and now I live in Michigan.

Let's get started!

Stores

In Guatemala, there is always a small store right around the corner.

If you want pop or chips..

or if you just want to go bug the guy who works at the store...

you can walk easily to the store.

In the USA, there's not a lot of little store - mostly just supermarkets.

So, before you go to the supermarket you have to plan what you want to buy for the rest of the week.

Greetings

In Guatemala, it's really common for someone you don't know to greet you or smile at you.

This always happens no matter who you are.

In the USA, it's a little uncomfortable when someone you don't know says hi to you.

Now just imagine the face people make at your if you were to smile at them.

The Landscape

The landscape in Guatemala is very beautiful.

But no one can see very far... because they don't use their glasses.

Seriously, it's actually because there are so many mountains!

In the USA, the ground is literally flat.

So you can see as far as your eyes can see!

Of course, this depends on the state you are in.

In Guatemala, there are always lots of clouds.

But here, in the USA, the sky is totally blue because there aren't near as many clouds.

And in the USA, you can get really burnt from the sun.

Meeting new people

In Guatemala, we are very open and friendly people.

So it's very easy to talk to and meet new people.

In the USA, it's not normal that someone comes up to you out of the blue and talks to you.

This makes it a little complicated to meet new people.

To meet new people, you almost always have to meet through mutual friends.

The Climate

In Guatemala we have a wonderful climate,

We always have either summer and spring.

In the USA, there are all four seasons.

And the climate here is VERY extreme.

In the summer, it is very hot with VERY high temperatures.

and in the winter, it gets VERY cold with very low temperatures.

The weather is crazy here.

up... down.... up... down...

it never ends.

The Food

In Guatemala, we eat tortillas at every meal.

I think that in Guatemala we use many more spices to cook with.

Eating healthy food in Guatemala is not expensive.

We eat a big breakfast, a medium lunch, and a small supper.

In the USA, we have small breakfasts, medium lunch, and big suppers.

Supper in the USA is very important because the family comes together and eats together.

In the USA there are more options of what you can eat.

Fast food is very quick, easy, and cheap.

Now you know why latino's gain weight when they come here...

Eating healthy foods is more difficult and expensive.

The Water

If you didn't know, the water that comes out of the faucet in Guatemala is not drinkable.

If you want to drink water, you have to buy one of these.

I miss going to the store when I was a kid, and impressing my mom carrying the water jug back to the house.

In the USA, the water that comes out of the faucet is drinkable.

So if you want to get a drink, all you have to do is fill a glass. Easy!

The Language

In Guatemala, the main language is Spanish, although there are also many indigenous languages.

In the USA, the main language is English, and you would think that everyone speaks english.

However, this is a country with people from all over the world, so not everyone can speak english.

For me, it's difficult to understand english from the americans.

Now imagine trying to understand the english of someone from ANOTHER country.

If you were wondering, I don't know how to speak much english yet.

The only things I know how to say are...

The Traffic

In Guatemala, there are tons of people living in the city.

At every hour of the day there is tons of Traffic.

terrible...

In the USA there's not as much traffic, especially if you don't live in a big city.

Where I live there is not much traffic. There's lots of cars, but many times there's more than two lanes.

Speed

Because of the traffic in Guatemala, you can never drive very fast.

Even on the highways, there's both traffic and speed limits.

In the USA it's very different. If you go to slow on the highway, they can ticket you!

Imagine getting a ticket for that!

Everyone here drives really fast!

That's all for today guys!

Steeda Adjustable Rear Toe Links S550 Mustang 555-4120 - Duration: 3:49.

Hi everybody Brian from steeda.com

Here to tell you about our S550 Adjustable Rear Toe Links.

Let's first start by telling you and explaining to you what the toe links do.

The factory toe links simply adjust the toe for the rear wheels.

With being an independent rear suspension, just like the front wheels, the rear wheels have toe adjustment.

And toe adjustment is going to be in or out. This going to change how the car corners, tracks straight

as well as accelerates. These are all very important things to any Mustang enthusiast.

As we've spoken about in our other videos, Ford used soft durometer bushings in a lot of the key components of the rear of the car.

They did this so that the car would be a little bit more compliant on the road

but the downside to this is a lot of wheel hop and a lot of vagueness out of the back of the car.

These toe links are going to help assist with that, and we're going to explain how they achieve this.

So to start versus the factory toe link that uses a soft rubber bushing we utilize a spherical bearing

that's teflon lined for durability. This bearing will get rid of all the defection at that inner point.

And this is really important because as you're driving the car hard and enjoying it,

it prevents the toe from changing on the rear wheels. And this toe can change under hard cornering

under hard braking or under hard acceleration. What that ends up doing is when the toe changes

the car wants to wiggle around, the back of the car wants to wiggle around and that's very concerning

and very alarming. If you watch some of our in-car video of our number 20 yellow road race car

you're going to see how predictable the car is through transitions and long sweeping corners.

And not to take anything away from Hot Shoes Mayhem Glen, but the reality is

the more predictable the car the easier it is to drive. The easier it is to drive the faster you are going to go!

This is going to translate to faster lap times, better Autocross times, better ET's at the drag strip

as well as a more predictable car on the street.

Another key component to our rear toe links are the lockout plate that we provide.

This is very important for a couple reasons. One of them is because these will allow you to

remove the eccentric bolt that the factory provides for the rear toe adjustment.

That rear bolt can be subject to loosening up under hard use. Again Autocross use, track day use,

drag race use. Even hard street driving.

Adjustment of our toe links is really straight forward. Simply turn the turnbuckle to either

lengthen or shorten the length of the arm to adjust your toe. Your race shop or your alignment shop

either or are going to love you for purchasing these.

The adjustment range on these is over one inch. This means you can install them on your street car,

your show car or your race car. Better yet all three!

Also, our adjustable rear toe links are made with high-grade steel components.

And then we powder coat or plate them for corrosion resistance. They also carry our lifetime warranty.

And we proudly manufacture these in the USA at our Valdosta Georga facility.
