Carl's jr. is going beyond with an exciting new take on its famous
favorite on their menu that's right the beyond burger arrives at Carl's jr.
across the U.S. so let's see what it's all about after we set ourselves up
through that drive-thru
yeah peep this out let me go for that new beyond famous star with cheese
please just the burger by itself and that's it great thanks alright a
plant-based famous star with cheese I cannot wait to try this Hey
yes how you doin' today good thank you hey thanks so much stay frosty now we'll see ya buh bye
alright ready for that up close and personal here we go the pioneers of the
great American burger are teaming up with beyond meat for their all-new beyond
famous star with cheese and already this has got the matching charbroiled beef
aroma to go with what looks like a very tasty looking version of the famous star
with cheese here guys let's pop the top and see what makes this one a little bit
different looks like we've got a slice of American cheese plenty of the special
sauce and some mayo and underneath it guys this is not a beef patty this is a
100% plant-based burger patty packing 20 grams of protein and I got to say guys
it looks just like a standard charbroiled burger and it looks amazing
it's got the grill marks and everything and it definitely smells and looks the
part very excited to check out the flavor on this one underneath it we have
got some sliced onions we've got some tomato and of course lettuce all the
regular stuff for the famous star is here we've got the crunchy dill pickles
and some more mayo on the bottom but guys the main draw is the juiciness and
the appearance of what looks like a very awesome looking alternative to
charbroiled beef guys and like I said it's got that smell to go with so let's
not waste any more time on this one because I really want to get into it
it's the plant-based beyond famous star with cheese here at Carl's jr. let's
peep out this flavor you know you got to love the fact that this burger patty
is free of soy and GMOs along with being lower in saturated fat than regular beef
along with smelling like it actually is regular beef let's dive in it's the
beyond famous star with cheese here at Carl's jr.
mmm-hmm right off the break after that first bite the snap and crunch of those
dill pickles and the sliced onions completely sets off the flavor of the
charbroiled beef and I'm saying charbroiled beef because guys this
actually tastes like it is charbroiled beef and not plant based but it is and
that's the crazy thing about it and the juiciness is absolutely there let's keep
going I want to give you that close-up after I take this next bite because I
really want to take this next bite it's really tasty mmm yesir the sweet light
tang that I'm getting from the special sauce which is one of the signatures of
the famous star is dovetailing so nicely with the beyond burger itself and I have
to say the flavor is absolutely spot-on and as you can see it's a pretty thick
burger to boot and with 20 grams of plant-based protein coming from Peas
believe it or not guys it's packing the good stuff it's healthier for you and it
goes extremely well with everything else that the famous star has to offer and let's
not forget it's got cheese so that's always fun too you know I got to say
this is a pretty innovative and bold move on the part of Carl's jr. to offer
something like this across the country nationwide as an alternative to their
regular burgers which definitely don't skimp on flavor guys Carl's jr. is known
for the Charbroiled goodness and this one is easily up there with it there are no
compromising in terms of flavor and it definitely satisfies because it tastes
like a regular burger and like I said it's better for you right
it may not technically have any meat in it but it definitely packs all the
heartiness and flavor of a charbroiled beef patty here at Carl's jr. and
another cool thing about this it's debuting inside one of the most
famous burgers on their menu win win yeah this was definitely a blast to
check out all of the popular ingredients from the famous star as always going
along with a burger patty which personally for me tasted just like beef
I was very surprised at the flavor of this one but then again I really
shouldn't be because the charbroiled flavor from Carl's jr. was absolutely
infused into this one and that flavor came out in spades it was really very
tasty and hey having some pretty awesome nutritional benefits on top of the
signature flavor of the famous star with cheese is already a plus in itself guys
I mean you're getting the familiarity of the famous star with cheese here at
Carl's jr. with a decent amount of high-quality nutrition to go with and if
you ask me that's still another win win situation very solid now the question is
