U.S. Winter Tour of 2018
Hej! Shortsnouts are on tour in the U.S. and-
-we've ended up at IHOP where we're enjoying a pancake breakfast.
Apparently you can get more than pancakes at IHOP, so we're also enjoying an-
-egg breakfast, saussage breakfast, french toast breakfast... Erik, what do you think?
I managed to extract my cutlery, it went fine. Now I'm haviong egg, toast, pancakes and tea.
Tonight is our first show of the U.S. leg of the tour.
It's super exciting, we hope everything will work.
It will be interesting to see how many people show up, and if anyone knows who we are.
And we hope everybody will enjoy themselves, but for now, we're eating pancakes!

Hello! Now we've played Washington, D.C. and become super tired-
-so we've slept, or rather we tried sleeping. Because when we arrived at our hotel, it turned out-
-the fire alarm in our room beeps once a minute because of low battery.
So we called in staff, who looked at it, took it off the wall and concluded that "this beeps once a minute-
-it might need a battery". He ripped out some cable so that it didn't beep, then he want to fetch a battery.
And then he never returned.
So I think we may have slept without a fire alarm tonight.
Also my bed lacked bedding, so I had to fetch an ugly blanket to sleep under.
But it was okay.
Now we're here enjoing a lovely breakfast where you can only cut 1 cm into your orange-
-because there's and edge on the knife that prevents you from cutting deeper.
So instead you end up with juice on your plate.
You have to rip your orange apart like this.
It got sticky.
But it's something, at least they had a fun pancake machine, so that was fun-
-even if they tasted like rubber.
Now we're going to New York, let's go!

And we ordered an extra large pizza!

I'm very excited to introduce our next guest to you.
When Joe and I first toured Sweden with Harry and the Potters, we had no idea what to expect, and-
-one of the most amazing things that happened was there was brother and sister Erik and Anna, that-
-kept showing up to every show, and it turned out-
-they played trumpet and trombone, so we asked them to play as our horn section.
So they played horns for us, but they also had their great wizard rock band called "The Swedish Shortsnouts".
And they've since helped us come back and play Sweden a number of times-
-so we're very excited to return the favor tonight, and to introduce you all to the magic of Swedish wizard rock.

Now we've played New York City.
I think it went well. Before that we went into town, it also went well.
We took the subway.
I mean we've had the most amazing subway experience anyone has ever had.
It starts when we're buying tickets-
-from an extremely cranky man who hushed Anna and said "schh, listen!".
So it took a while before we got onto the platform.
Once we got in it was a bit late, and we saw a gigantic rat.
On the train, when we get on, there was a man in a corner singing loudly-
-while a homeless woman gets on the train and asks for money.
After that a man shows up saying "God bless, God bless, God bless" to everyone-
-in the whole car.
There was a photo shoot, in the train.
Then the guy who said he was followed came.
Right, a man who was being followed, forced his way back and forth, claiming someone was stalking him wherever he went.
Then we saw Yoga Jones, from Orange Is The New Black
Then we got off, and I felt that we had done everything we had to do in New York.
So in other words, a completely ordinary subway ride.
Now we're going to Boston to play there, let's go!
Right now we're driving on a super boring road-
-straight through Connecticut, because we're going up to Massachusetts, and there's nothing here except-
-like trees and... a lot of Subway.
And Dunkin' Donuts!
Subway and Dunkin' Donuts is apparently what they eat in Connecticut-
-although I'm obviously eating a PayDay and not Subway but-
I'm not sure how much further, maybe an hour? Something like that?
Yes, just over an hour.

We're at a yarn shop called Gather Here, where they have yarn-
-and some of them you can apparently only buy in the U.S?
Are these the ones you can only buy in the U.S?
No, but at least this, and this, are locally produced here.

These two we'll ignore that you can buy in Sweden.
I got to hold these apparently-
-because they were not for Ally, but I don't know who they are for.
They can't appear in a vlog before Christmas!

So it's a Christmas present.
We don't know who it's for, but it's an exciting gift, because it glitters-
-and a Christmas present is always more exciting if it glitters.
