SHOCKING SUPREME COURT ANNOUNCEMENT HAS DEMOCRATS SCRAMBLING

President Trump got elected after promising to appoint conservative constitutionalists

to the Supreme Court.

He's since kept his promise with his appointment of Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.

And one conservative group just made an announcement about the Supreme Court that will leave you

stunned.

With news about Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's health dominating the news over the past two

months, it's no surprise to hear that many groups are interested in what's next for

the liberal judge.

Ginsburg has sworn to stay on to the nation's highest court for as long as she wants.

But her health problems may force the justice to step down, perhaps in as soon as the next

few months or weeks.

One conservative group is getting ready for this possibility.

One New York Times correspondent is now reporting that the Judicial Crisis Network, a conservative-leaning

organization which backs President Trump's judicial nominees, is about to put money down

on ad buys in preparation for another opening on the Supreme Court.

"The Judicial Crisis Network is launching a $1.5 million ad buy today, which one official

says is to 'ready for renominations and new nominations, and in light of uncertainties

surrounding SCOTUS.'," writes New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.

If Ginsburg steps down, it would rock the political world.

She has sat on the nation's highest court for a generation, and during that time her

record strongly aligns with Democratic priorities.

Her judicial record has made Ginsburg the darling of the far left, and if President

Trump is able to replace her with a conservative nominee in the same mold as Justice Gorsuch,

it would reshape the Supreme Court for generations to come.

In anticipation of the hotly contested judicial battle which would be no doubt coming for

any of President Trump's nominees, conservative groups are preparing for a media battle of

the ages.

Democrats will throw everything at whoever Trump nominates to the Supreme Court.

They know the stakes, and they know how much they have to lose.

The political shift that would take place if Ginsburg is replaced by a conservative

constitutionalist can hardly even be measured.

The last vestiges of Barack Obama's legacy, including perhaps Obamacare itself, would

immediately be put in danger.

And Ginsburg's potential departure right now would leave Democrats in the worst position

imaginable.

They remain in the minority in the US Senate, and their power dwindled even further as Democrats

lost seats in last year's elections for the upper chamber of Congress.

Republicans could likely push through whoever President Trump nominates, with little to

no input or approval from Senate Democrats.

This means their only hope would be to no doubt ruin the character of whoever Trump

nominates, such as what happened with Brett Kavanaugh last fall.

The Judicial Crisis Network's ad buys will likely be geared towards mitigating any liberal

attacks on President Trump's nominee, with the goal of protecting them from the sort

of character assassination which was directed against Kavanaugh.

We will keep you up to date with any new developments in

this

ongoing story.
