Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions is on the comeback trail.

And he has one new job in mind.

But his latest career move could be about to blow up in his face.

Jeff Sessions Could Run for the Senate Jeff Sessions may seek his old job.

Sessions held a Senate Seat in Alabama from 1996 until the Senate confirmed him as Attorney

General in 2017.

Democrat Doug Jones won a special election last December to fill the seat after the GOP

establishment and the fake news media colluded on a smear campaign of lies to sink conservative

Roy Moore's campaign.

Jones only won the right to fill the last two years of the term Sessions won in 2014.

He will run for a full six-year term in 2020.

Republicans will be heavily favored to win that race.

Sessions could be a natural candidate for that race.

And some Republicans would like to see Sessions back in the Senate because he would be a loyal

vote for Donald Trump's America First agenda.

Sessions carried the torch in the Senate for over 20 years on opposing globalist trade

deals and amnesty.

In fact, many conservatives credit Sessions and his then aide Stephen Miller – who is

now Trump's top immigration advisor – with killing the 2013 Gang of Eight amnesty bill.

After Mitt Romney lost the 2012 Presidential election, pro-open borders Republican donors

and elites – like Jeb Bush – pushed the GOP to accept amnesty.

The controversial Republican "autopsy" report claimed Romney lost because he only

won 27 percent of the Hispanic vote.

The truth was conservatives and working-class voters stayed home because Romney was a liberal

and the very picture of globalist Republicans that was joined at the hip with big business.

The entire Republican establishment leaned on GOP members of Congress to accept open

borders and amnesty.

But Sessions led the fight against the bill and it died in the GOP led House of Representatives

after passing the Democrat-controlled Senate.

Problems with Jeff Sessions Senate Bid While Sessions was always solid on the issue,

many Trump supporters turned against him.

That's because Sessions failed his most crucial test.

He caved in to take news media pressure and recused himself from the Russia investigation.

His weakness allowed Deep State agent Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to unleash

Robert Mueller on a search and destroy mission against the President.

That could lead to a candidate running against Sessions on the single issue of loyalty to

Trump.

Politico reports a GOP strategist told them he expects the White House to field a candidate

in the race to oppose Sessions:

BUT OTHER ALABAMA REPUBLICANS THINK TRUMP WOULD BACK ANOTHER CANDIDATE OVER SESSIONS,

WHICH COULD CREATE A NASTY RACE, SAID STEVE RABY, AN ALABAMA REPUBLICAN STRATEGIST.

"IF SESSIONS WANTS TO RUN I EXPECT THEM [THE WHITE HOUSE] TO PICK THEM A CANDIDATE

AND BASH SESSIONS FOR A YEAR-AND-A-HALF," RABY SAID.

"IF JEFF IS GOOD IN THE WAY HE APPROACHES IT, WE WILL DEFEND ONE OF OUR OWN."

Sessions remains the favorite to win this race, but his past tensions with Donald Trump

could lead to him taking a pass on the seat.

TREY GOWDY GOES ROGUE AND DROPPED MASSIVE B0MB

There's nobody who understands more about Robert Mueller being a fraud than Trey Gowdy.

As chairman of the House Oversight Committee, he has been tracking the investigation since

day one.

And with one statement he just disproved Mueller's entire investigation.

Despite the deep state, media, and Democrat Party seemingly working in lockstep to prove

otherwise, there has been no evidence that Donald Trump colluded with Russia in any way

at any time.

This one fact is known by the media, so they instead run misleading stories attempting

to make it seem as though Trump did collude with Russia.

The media has often pulled unrelated matters and tied them to the president, such as the

indictment and jailing of Paul Manafort, which was for matters unrelated to Trump.

For somebody like Trey Gowdy, that is very troubling.

The South Carolina Senator only cares about tracking down the truth, and when the media

is misrepresenting it he does his best to make his dissent clear.

Speaking to Fox News Sunday, Trey Gowdy recently laid out perhaps the most solid proof that

there is no evidence Trump colluded with Russia.

While his answer was simple, it was powerful, and difficult to argue against.

Gowdy pointed out that if evidence was available showing Trump colluded with Russia that Democrat

Rep. Adam Schiff would have leaked it.

"I have not seen one scintilla of evidence that this president colluded, conspired, confederated

with Russia, and neither has anyone else, or you may rest assured Adam Schiff would

have leaked it," Gowdy stated.

Gowdy's statement comes in response to Schiff claiming that he has evidence of Russia collusion,

at one point stating that he has "more than circumstantial evidence."

But when pressed to present the evidence Schiff has remained silent.

The fact that Gowdy is making it clear that he has seen no evidence seems to prove that

either Gowdy or Schiff are lying.

Both of the representatives are influential in their positions, and if evidence was available,

it would almost certainly become available to both of them.

But it is very unlikely that Schiff is acting in good faith.

He has already gone on national television to allude that Trump is "compromised"

making it seem that he thinks Russia is in control of him.

If Russia had been in control of President Trump he wouldn't be working to break up

Russia's natural gas monopoly in Europe.

He also would have sided with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who is an ally to Russia,

in the wake of the Syrian chemical weapons attack earlier this year.

The idea that Trump is a "Russian puppet" is not based in reality.

It seems that unless President Trump chooses to be recklessly hostile towards Russia the

Democrats will never be happy.

But in the end, the American people still side with Trump.

He has his highest approval rating ever, and 70 percent of Republicans approved of his

recent press conference with Russia.
