What Dortmund and Christian Pulisic have said about a transfer to Chelsea - Duration: 3:50.

Christian Pulisic is once again the subject of transfer speculation.  The 20-year-old USA international was talked about for a potential Premier League move in the summer, with interest in him from the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool

Tottenham interest has since cooled, but the Blues and the Reds remain interested, with the pair locked in a battle according to the bookmakers over his signature

Chelsea are the odds-on favourites to sign him, with reports coming out today that the Blues had made the first move to secure his signature with an opening bid, thought to be below Borussia Dortmund's asking price of €70million

Pulisic only has 18 months left to run on his current contract with the German giants, giving interested clubs the upper hand in any negotiations over a price

He has spoken about a move to the Premier League before, as has his father and Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc

Here's what they have all had to say on a potential move to Chelsea or Liverpool

Michael Zorc - Dortmund sporting director  "We've known these rumours for many years

We're planning to go with them until the end of the season.  "We will still need Christian significantly

" Mark Pulisic - Christian's father  "There's always change. You can think one thing, then you do it, and at the end of the day it wasn't the right thing

Football is crazy. You have to go with the flow and make sure the player feels comfortable, whatever the decision is

"There's no magic formula. Is it right to stay at Dortmund? Who knows. Is it right to move to another club? He might think it is, or someone else might think it is, but it might not be in the player's mind

"The only thing we can do is continue to talk with him and make sure he's always in the loop of what's going on, present all the facts and the content of what can happen, or will happen

It's up to the player to make that final call." Christian Pulisic  "When the time comes for me to talk in the breaks about my future, then that's when those things happen

"Like I said before, reading these articles [about me], I tend to stay away from that stuff

I know it is going to be there but it is not my priority. England and the Premier League, it is a league where lots of kids dream of playing, so there is no reason why maybe one day I won't play here

"Once the break comes [in January], that is always when I will have to discuss with Dortmund and see about my future
