USA news on Youtube Dec 21 2018

hey what's up Stefanie the English Coach here from EnglishFullTime.com as promised this

week I'm going to continue talking about the differences between Argentina and the USA

and why I absolutely love both of these countries and can't choose just one where I want to

live right so last week I talked about a lot of different things I talked about the culture

I talked about the driving just differences common differences that I have noticed from

these countries and there are things that I like about each one so I'm going to continue

with this discussion today and I wanna start with something that's actually a little bit

more serious and it's kind of unpleasant to talk about but it's a reality okay so I'm

talking about the security right how safe people feel where you live and I was thinking

about this and you know in the USA I can go for a walk in my neighborhood at any time

of the day pretty much and I feel safe I don't have to worry about someone coming and robbing

me or you know something bad happening I mean obviously I'm not gonna go out walking at

3 AM that's not really something that I do but in general when it starts getting dark

I'm like okay you know I better hurry home or whatever I just don't like walking at night

anyways but I sometimes go for night walks with my family or my friends and it's just

something we do and it's like a tradition it's really cool but here in Argentina specially

in Buenos Aires I just don't feel that same level of security and it's not because anything

has happened to me but it's because of all the stories that I've heard from the locals

form the people who have lived here there is not one person I know here who has not

been robbed okay. And when I mean robbed I mean like Renzo has been robbed at gunpoint

my husband has been robbed at gunpoint multiple times it's just like okay so I'm getting robbed

again and there is a gun at my head again and it's like normal freaking life my sister

in law's friend a couple month ago was robbed at gunpoint she's like 18 years old you know

and on her way to school or whatever and it's just sucks that you live in a place where

you don't feel secure where I'm recording this video right now we are in a park that

has a fence around it because we don't want the camera to get stolen okay we don't want

someone to come up on a motorcycle and just like yank it out of our hands or whatever

and it's just crazy that this is the experience that people have here in a daily basis it's

constantly in the back of your mind and for example when I walk you know form my in law's

house to my husband's grandparent's house I don't even take a cellphone because I just

don't want anyone to have a reason to rob me and if they do rob me I'm like here take

my backpack take my money but don't take my cellphone you know so I I go out in the street

without a cellphone if I'm I have this gold necklace I'll just show you guys this means

a lot to me the story behind it this is a necklace that I actually gave my mother in

law I love her she's amazing and she wore it every single day for a couple of years

and then she gift it back to me with a different pendant on it and I love this necklace okay

so it has a lot of meaning to me but I can't just I don't feel like this is something I

can just wear on the streets because if someone sees it they are gonna be like oh you know

I'm gonna rob her I'm gonna whatever it's just a feeling of lack of security and you

know that's it's crazy because this isn't even the least secure place in the world like

the are places that are a lot worse than this and granted there are places in the US that

where you won't feel safe right there are some places some cities some parts of town

where it's like okay you don't wanna be caught there walking at anytime of the day anyhow

so this is something that I really wish Argentina had more of I wish I could just be here and

feel safer here and I know the people that are form here wish the same thing so anyhow

this is just another difference between the countries but this wouldn't stop me form living

here because as you guys know I love it here okay so on the other hand the next thing that

I wanna talk about is parties and nightlife I really feel like people in Argentina know

how to celebrate they know how to have fun they get up and dance they love music they

I don't know the the parties here are the best parties I 've ever experienced the nightlife

here is insane is nothing like in the US so for example in the US when I would go out

dancing with my friends we would go to the club I don't know like at 11 PM around there

and everything will basically be done at 2 AM okay in Argentina you go out at 11 or 12

to go hang out with your friends and have a couple drinks and the clubs open at like

2 AM maybe even 3 AM I don't know and people just dance all night until 7 or 8 AM and then

you can go have a coffee with your friends or have some mate or something like that it's

just insane now with that said though I have to say that I kind of prefer the early schedule

because at least you can get some sleep before the next day starts and when you stay up all

night in Argentina is a lot of fun but then the next day you are good for nothing basically

you can't be productive really it sucks but anyhow so that said just the music here is

really fun the dancing here is really fun and just I don't know the people it always

comes back to the people and for example in the US you will never see two guys dancing

together right like never but in Argentina the very first day that I got here several

years ago I went out dancing with Renzo and that's a story for another time anyhow I met

his family met him the same day that I got here I told his mom I was like I heard the

nightlife in Argentina is really awesome like I would love to experience it and I was talking

about like in the future and she's like oh I think Ren is going out tonight with his

friends he can take you and I was like okay so I went out dancing and I was blown away

because he went out dancing with his guy friends and they were like dancing together and I

was just like this is nothing I've ever seen before so that was new for me we had a lot

of fun and yeah in the US guys won't dance unless they are dancing with a girl and I

don't know I like that people can just dance together and they don't have to worry about

who they're dancing with anyhow so nightlife here is really really fun really exciting

completely different from everything I ever experienced in the USA okay so in that case

I like Argentina more so the next thing I wanna talk about is sports something that

I love about the USA is that there is this huge emphasis on sports playing sports actually

I was gonna say watching sports but I don't care about watching sports I just like the

fact that we play sports and in high-school for example you can decide if you wanna be

on the basketball team the volleyball team the soccer team the swim team the water polo

team the tennis team I don't even know there is so many teams and anybody can be on them

in the public school system is like we have try outs obviously where you have to show

that you have some athletic ability and then there are different levels you know there

is junior varsity then there is varsity depending on how good you are and you can move up the

reason I love this so much is because I had such a good experience on the swim teams and

the water polo team when I was in high school and later in college and being on a team and

playing sports with a team it teaches you such amazing lessons that I don't know if

you can learn in any other way so it teaches you team work it teaches you to work hard

it teaches you that your body is stronger than you realize you are able to do things

you never thought would be possible and here in Argentina I mean yes there is an emphasis

in sports obviously I mean soccer is huge here right but what I've noticed is that there

is not as big of an emphasis as there is in the US like in the US for example let's say

that your kids or whatever are in high school okay and they have a volleyball game parents

will go to the games like lots of people they'll go they'll eat at the games they will celebrate

you know they are really cheering on the kids and stuff and it's really really cool experience

and it's like oh there is a football game this Friday night we are all gonna go to the

football game you know and then there's a parade that goes around cheerleaders it's

just really fun okay and I've not really ever experience that here so with all of that said

you guys I could go on and on and on you guys know this there is so many thing I love about

both of these countries and when I met Ren and we got married I was like what are we

gonna do now you know because you are from here I'm from California you know I don't

wanna go to California and then we are never gonna see your family or rarely and I don't

wanna be here and never see my family so what are we gonna do and that is kind of how English

Full Time got started I just started thinking okay what can I provide to people what can

I help people with so that I can work online and have the ability to basically live in

both countries and people used to always ask us where are you gonna settle down and the

truth is we don't have kids right now we don't have to settle down and this is amazing because

we can live in Argentina for a few months we can live in the USA for a few months we

can go back and forth we can work wherever we go and you know it's awesome because we

can live in two countries so that is why I love Argentina and the USA and why I cannot

choose which one Ilike more I hope you guys enjoyed this video and if you could live anywhere

in the world besides your country or in addition to you country I don't know where would you

wanna live and why? let us know in the comments and if you want a guide to improve your English

and practice with native speakers because maybe you wanna go to the USA but you can't

right now because of financial reasons then download this guide I created it is the most

popular guide on my website this guide is about how to connect with native English speakers

online so you can practice and improve your English I'm gonna go ahead and link it in

the description it's yours for free and I will see you in another video take care bye

They will be competing in this very first Follow Japan Challenge.

I am hosting this very first episode!!!

Let's go meet Team Japan!

We will begin shooting very soon...

that's right...

and we can't talk very loudly right now....

I think many of my viewers know who this guy is...

He is "Kajisac" aka "King Kong Kajiwara" a very famous Japanese comedian.

Recently I started my Youtube channel called Kajisac.

That's cool... he's a Youtuber now too!!

I started about 2 months ago....

Youtube is pretty fun isn't it??

Yeah... I really like it!!

But why do you speak like your from Osaka???

You must have influenced me!! LOL

Youtube is so different than regular Japanese TV...

I have much more freedom on Youtube than TV...

Steve- I'm really nervous and need your help today!

Everyone here is American and I don't speak any English at all!

I need you carry me today please Steve!

I am happy to do so for you.... and when I go to Osaka I will ask the same from you....

You don't need any help in Japan Steve!!!! LOL

You see that really big guy over there?!?!?

Takato!!!

Let's go say hi to him!!

Good morning!

We met for the first time last night at dinner...

You live here in America right?

Yes, I've lived here for over 10 years now...

and he speaks perfect English too!!

Takato is a really nice guy and I believe he is ready for today's Follow Japan Challenge.

I am ready!

and you Steve will be our host!!

a host with "Omotenashi" = Japanese Hospitality

Does this happi look good on me?

We have a food eating competition today too....

I am ready for that!! LOL

I think Takato is going to do really good in that competition!

Good morning!!

Are you looking forward to today??

You guys think you can beat Team USA?

We will win!

Wow! That's confidence!

We will win the $10,000!

Taishi and Chikako

They both live together here in Los Angeles...

Please introduce yourselves to Steve's POV audience...

I am Taishi and I am an actor here in Los Angeles...

Taishi is a good looking guy!!

I am Chikako and I do beauty related work... like eyebrow tattoos....

I also do some acting as well...

Two young Japanese working hard here in LA

are you married?

no.. not yet....

What a cute couple you guys are....

I look forward to working with you...

We are about to start filming...

I haven't ever really hosted a show like this before...

This is much different than my regular Youtube shoots...

I have a script here...

I really have to be on top of stuff here...

I hope I can do it!!

Uh oh.. they are about to start!

Welcome to Los Angeles!!

Kajisac, are you jet-lagged at all?

Not at all!!!!

Wow!!!

I am ready to compete!!

Let's do it!!

Which category will you choose Chikako?

Wow!! You got the right answer!! Nice job!

Which category will you choose?

150 points!

This is a lot of fun so far....

We got a little break right now...

Team Japan is an interesting gathering of characters for sure!

and being the host is pretty fun I must say!!!

but I got a lot more work to still do....

Did you know that there is a Japanese Garden in the middle of Little Tokyo?

This is the Japanese Community Cultural Center JCCC

Within the confines of this facility is this beautiful Japanese garden.

Our next challenge will take place here...

they are setting up for the Food challenge and we will be filming again shortly.

We are here in the beautiful JCCC Japanese Garden...

This is a lot of fun!!!

Very international too!!

This scorpion is gross!!

I cant believe Kajisac ate a whole plate of dried insects!!

I see your strategy... very smart!!

You knew you couldn't out eat the bigger guys....

so you decided to go for the grossest food with the highest point total!!!

My strategy went even further than that...

I figured if I ate the really spicy ramen first I wouldn't be as grossed out by the insects....

That's pretty smart!!!

I am impressed... the littlest guy here got the most points!

I'm the only one who ate the insects!

Would you like some more for desert?

No way!!!!!

No more bugs!! LOL

I feel like throwing up...

If you throw up, do it over there where Team USA puked before.... LOL

Which was the tastiest of the insects?

They were all horrible!!

If you had to choose just one?

I guess it would be this one...

Steve- you should try this one...

Ok, I will try it....

Steve's POV solo food challenge...

You handle the whistle please....

That's not too bad....

I told you that one wasn't that bad...

but its really dry!

yeah!!

Need some tea to wash it down!

We need Oi Ocha!!!

Oi Ocha please!!!

After eating dried insects...

nothing is more refreshing than Oi Ocha green tea.

I've never eaten bugs before and the inside of my mouth feels gross...

Wow! That did the job!!

I love this tea...

and I am happy the manufacturer Itoen has managed to get this tea into regular American stores too....

It's now readily available everywhere in the USA and it is delicious too!!

Excuse me everyone...

I hope you enjoyed your lunch...

Yes!! Delicious!!

We have a very special guest who has arrived...

She is an Instagram model sensation who has a huge following in Japan...

We have made it to the final challenge....

this is where you will compete for the chance to win the $10,000 in cash!

What is the lock combination now?

0,0,0

OMG!!! Congratulations!!! They did it!!!!!!

Does this Follow Japan competition look like fun??

It was a lot of fun for me!!!

To have an international fun and friendly competition like this was terrific!!

We laughed so much today!!

I would love to host another show like this again sometime!!

Live from Little Tokyo I am your host Steve... Thank you for watching...

Are you on Instagram Twitter and Facebook?

If so, please follow me there for lots of behind the scenes things you wont see on YouTube...

and if you liked today's video, please leave a Thumbs Up as well!!

See you again next time!!!

How to connect up to three safety sensors to a single relay with PSRmultifunction - Duration: 2:10.

- As industrial machines become increasingly

complex and automated, more is being asked

of the functional safety systems protecting them.

These safety circuits increasingly rely upon

multiple guarding technologies working in harmony to provide

a high degree of functional safety

in the most cost effective manner possible.

Let's look at a few examples.

Chaining all safety circuits and series

to a single safety relay creates

an inexpensive safety circuit but limits functionality

and doesn't reach the highest levels of safety

with the possibility of fault masking.

Taking each safety circuit to it's own individual

relay reaches the highest levels of safety

but costs more than the previous series chain example.

And functionality comes at a cost

with more intensive relay logic wiring.

Moving the logic circuit to a configurable relay

allows for function block based logic

to create very flexible systems

capable of high level safety solutions.

But using a safety processor usually increases prices

and software is involved.

For many machine owners, using a software based

safety system isn't practical.

With Phoenix Contact's PSRmultifunction you can connect

up to three safety sensors to a single relay

without using any software or configuration.

As you can see, each safety sensor is individually wired

to the PSRmultifunction relay.

Sensors S1 and S2 will function independent of each other.

With each input controlling it's own set

of redundant contacts and individual reset inputs.

Sensor S0 will override both S1 and S2 causing both sets

of redundant contacts to deenergize.

All of the connections are hard wired

with no software or configuration switches needed.

It's as easy as three two one zero.

Three redundant inputs.

Two of which are independent.

One overriding shutdown.

With zero programming or configuration.

Avoid costly down time and fault masking

with the three in one PSRmultifunction safety relay

from Phoenix Contact.
