welcome to peep this out reviews with Ian K stay frosty
it looks like checkers and rally's is closing out 2018 with a
couple of new flavor options for their boneless wings so I thought we'd go in
on one of them for today's review and that one in particular is the Memphis
barbecue boneless wings featuring plenty of the southern dry rub seasoning on top
of five nicely sized pieces of white meat chicken that have breaded up and
fried to a crispy golden brown guys a pretty nice presentation and you can
really see how the seasoning is definitely all on top of these here
right now looking really really nice definitely coated very nicely and the
chicken itself is a fairly decent size for each piece for dipping we're gonna
go in for a little bit of ranch sauce that's always my go-to so definitely
gonna give the version from rally's a shot with these but I have to say the
seasoning in my car smells really nice guys almost like a mesquite type of
pungentness to it and I have to admit I really really like it let's see if the
flavor delivers on these it's the Memphis barbecue boneless wings here at
rally's let's peep out this flavor I don't know I'm getting a Lay's barbecue
potato chip vibe in my car right now thanks to the aroma on this one and it's
not necessarily a bad thing let's dive in it's the Memphis barbecue boneless
wings here at checkers and rally's
straight up Lay's potato chips that's good though and hey like I said it's not
necessarily a bad thing because I like Lay's potato chips but the seasoning is
spot-on for that imagine that type of seasoning on a chicken nugget that's
essentially what that is the nice fried coating on the outside the fairly juicy
white meat on the inside and that Lay's seasoning
I know it's southern dry rub but guys its Lay's potato chips straight out I
had to take that first one down because it was definitely pretty tasty but as
you can see by the second piece here with this cross-section shot pretty nice
amount of white meat guys and I have to admit the juiciness is fairly intact as
well usually white meat tends to be a little bit drier but this one definitely
has a lot more juiciness going for it and of course you have that nice crispy
outer coating and the dry rub seasoning but I'm still tripping out because the
seasoning is very much like Lay's potato chips you're gonna hear that all
throughout this review right now so if you guys are fans of Lay's potato chips
you have a lot to look forward to with this one especially the mesquite
barbecue type flavor this is pretty spot-on for that and you're getting some
juicy white meat chicken and a nice breading coating to go with mmm okay now as
tasty as it definitely was on its own of course we're gonna go for a dip into
that ranch as you guys saw in the initial close-up let's go for a swim
shall we you know one thing about the ranch here at rally's is it's definitely
strong in the aroma department and you can see plenty of the seasoning on the
inside of it as well and I have to admit it looks really nice with the dry rub
itself on these actual boneless wings really really nice fairly thick let's
give it a go and just for the record I've never had ranch dressing with
say Lay's barbecue potato chips but I have a feeling this is probably gonna
be as close as I'm gonna get let's do it
mmm I might have to try Lay's barbecue potato chips with ranch dressing going
forward mmm yeah that rich tang from the ranch dressing and the dry rub itself
that I'm getting from a nice mesquite flavoring that combo is a beautiful
thing guys and ranch dressing is really to go to anyway for me with chicken
tenders boneless wings of that type but I have to say the combination is pretty
magical together and I do like the fact that the white meat is still flavorful
enough in the background on top of all that dry rub and the richness of the
ranch itself it's a pretty nice combo alright let's finish this one up with
another nice close-up of that southern dry rub seasoning and as you can see on
the outside of this boneless wing it is generously applied guys I have to admit
the flavor is definitely there even though it does remind me of barbecue
potato chips from Lay's it definitely does a very good job of being very
flavorful in and of itself and that white meat chicken is fairly juicy on
top of the coating the value is high you get five for three bucks not a bad deal
at all and of course ranch goes amazing with it pretty good so with all that
said I'm gonna have to give the Memphis barbecue boneless wings here at rally's
a rock-solid 9 out of 10 it's not the best boneless wing I've ever had
but I have to admit it's a tasty one guys and the fact that it reminds me of
barbecue chips from Lay's that alone gives it a flavor profile I simply
wasn't expecting and like I said earlier I may have to give Lay's barbecue potato
chips a shot with ranch by itself because the flavor was pretty tasty but
as it stands this was really pretty good but the big question of course is how do
these boneless wings look to you drop some comments down below how excited are
you to give this one a shot knowing that it may taste like Lay's barbecue potato
chips if you're familiar with them and I think most of you are because guys like
