TREY GOWDY UNLEASHES – DROPS NUKE ON BARACK OBAMA

The Department of Justice dropped a bomb on Barack Obama on Wednesday when it agreed to

hand over to Congress confidential records from the former president's failed gun-trafficking

operation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives known as

"Fast and Furious."

Using these documents, it appears that Rep. Trey Gowdy finally has enough evidence to

make his move against Obama.

The Daily Caller reported that Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder had previously

refused to hand over the documents that were requested by the House Committee on Oversight

and Government Reform, which former Oversight Chairman Jason Chaffetz at the time called

"critical" to pursuing the investigation.

Obama's "Fast and Furious" operation somehow allowed nearly 2,000 firearms to find

their way into the hands of Mexican cartel members.

"The Department of Justice under my watch is committed to transparency and the rule

of law," Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement.

"This settlement agreement is an important step to make sure that the public finally

receives all the facts related to Operation Fast and Furious."

Amanda Gonzalez, Gowdy's communications director, released a statement from the congressman

saying that the Oversight Committee "seeks all relevant facts so we can learn from the

mistakes made by the Justice Department."

"We have a responsibility to uncover why they worked so hard to hide this information

from the Committee, the family of Brian Terry, and the American people," she added.

Back in 2012, Gowdy slammed Obama for invoking his executive privilege to hide the truth

about Fast and Furious.

"The assertion of executive privilege is legally compromised and calculated solely

to delay Congress from exercising its constitutional responsibility to provide oversight," Gowdy

said at the time.

"The President claims he knew nothing about Fast and Furious prior to Agent Brian Terry's

murder and no one at the Department of Justice has suggested the President was part of the

drafting of a demonstrably false letter dated February 4, 2011, to a committee of congress."

"So, my question to the President is: What are you asserting privilege over?"

Gowdy continued.

"Did you know about Fast and Furious before Brian Terry's murder?

Did you approve the operation?

Did you participate in the drafting of a false letter to congress?

Unless the answer to all of those questions is yes, there is no matter overwhich the President

can assert privilege.

It is merely the latest ploy to delay the investigation."

It certainly seems like the walls are finally closing in on Obama!

Democrats are racing to line up campaigns to challenge Donald Trump in 2020.

One Democrat who planned to run against Trump stood out from the rest.

But then they got arrested and now the entire 2020 race is in chaos.

Michael Avenatti Arrested For Felony Domestic Violence

Celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti was gearing up for a 2020 challenge to Trump.

Avenatti rose to fame defending porn star Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against Trump.

Daniels claimed to have had a one night affair with Trump back in 2006 and sued to get out

of the nondisclosure agreement she signed.

This led to CNN essentially inviting Avenatti to be a guest host on their network.

Some thought he could be a strong contender in 2020 because the fake news media gave him

hundreds of millions of dollars in free air time and he refused to play by any established

rules.

But all that just went up in flames.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrested Avenatti this past Wednesday on felony domestic

violence charges.

TMZ exclusively reported that a woman alleged Avenatti attacked her:

Our law enforcement sources say Avenatti was arrested Wednesday after a woman filed a felony

DV report.

We're told her face was "swollen and bruised" with "red marks" on both cheeks…

…We're told Wednesday afternoon the woman was on the sidewalk on her cellphone with

sunglasses covering her eyes, sobbing and screaming on the phone, "I can't believe

you did this to me.

I'm going to get a restraining order against you."

We're told security brought her inside the building, took her upstairs and Michael showed

up 5 minutes later and ran into the building.

He screamed repeatedly, "She hit me first."

We're told he angrily added, "This is bulls***, this is f***ing bulls***."

We're told he tried getting into the elevator but security denied him access.

Avenatti Denies The Allegations Avenatti tried to save his political career.

First, he denied the allegations.

"I wish to thank the hard working men and woman of the LAPD for their professionalism

they were only doing their jobs in light of the completely bogus allegations against me,"

he said in a written statement.

"I have never been physically abusive in my life nor was I last night.

Any accusations to the contrary are fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation.

I look forward to being fully exonerated."

He continued to deny the charges when he met with reporters.

"I am not going to be intimidated from stopping what I am doing,"the celebrity lawyer stated.

"I am a father to two beautiful, smart daughters.

I would never disrespect them by touching a woman inappropriately or striking a woman."

Finally, he accused a Trump supporter named Jacob Wohl of framing him.

Avenatti tweeted:

First Mueller and now me.

When we are fully exonerated I am coming for you Jacob Wohl aka Surefire,

Critics pointed out that Avenatti asked for the presumption of innocence.

Yet, when he produced Julie Swetnick, who has since admitted that she lied about seeing

Brett Kavanaugh at parties where she had been gang raped, Avenatti demanded Kavanaugh withdraw

because the allegations alone made him guilty.
