US TOTM - chicken with noodles

Hi, this is Delicious!

I have a test of an US ration, but a special version-for training

it is called TOTM

it is packed by the Wornick company

and very fresh-2018 = 9 months old

I haven't had this entree before

I am very curious how it will taste

This ration can be opened like the regular military MRE

I mean peelable seal

Can be opened with just hands

in most cases... ;)

let's see what's inside

The entree, pretzels - probably salty sticks

cheddar crackers

a pack of M&M's, zapplesauce-apple puree

instant mocca capuccino drink

a FRH

and accesories

a wet nap. salt, pepper, sugar

instant coffee type II and whitener

Let's put it on tray :)

This set is the same as in the regular MREs

I am curious , because the FRH is very fresh-from this year

if it will work much better than older

Let's have a look on other items

I will get only some of them

just small, salty sticks

this whole pack provides 110 calories

cheddar crackers

240 calories

they have a cheddar color

This puree I will open later

I will prepare mocaccino

I will skip the second coffee, because it is too late today

I forgot M&M's

everything is 2018

I will get 120 calories from this drink

I have to add just warm/hot water

The hot water is inside, but you can use cold as well

whole preparation is just shaking the pouch

There is a handle, so you can drin straight from the bag

The entree is ready

it is not very hot-I'm surprised

you can eat it straight from the pouch

but I can show you how it looks like

time to taste

if you think that for such a dish you'll need 5-6 ingredients

like-chicken, pasta, 2-3 vegetables, salt,pepper,maybe cream

you're wrong !

of course it is more detailed-like 2 kinds of meat

and a zillion strange things like flavor enchancers

like yeast extract or bonito flakes extract

I usually don't analyze this, because it scares me

fortunately it is not my daily food

nice pieces of chicken

some mushrooms

the dish is almost totally cold

the FRH, despite of its young age, didn't work

it was heated for 14 minutes

it tastes like a typical chicken stew

not spicy but not bland

as for US MRE is not bad

It has a bitter aftertaste

it tastes like a dish from a cheap street bar

we don't have any additional spices like tabasco

I didn't finish this dish

now Iwill taste moccacino

it is a decent drink, if you like sweet coffee

something like almost cocoa drink with fat cream

nice dessert drink

now the sticks

We don't have any kind of bread/tortille/crackers

But we have some snack, what should be enough

These sticks are really decent, lightly salty

fresh

now the cheddar crackers

As a snack it is very good, crunchy

you can taste the cheddar at the end, nice color

I will put the zapplesauce into this small bowl

to show you the color

The is an apple puree with maltodextrin

is a kind of energy booster

Nice pouch, which use can use directly to your mouth

pretty runny

I would say it is even very tasty

not too sweet, strong apple flavor

sligthly sour

M&M's are good-fresh, chocolate flavor

you know this taste very well

nice snack during the day

Let's open the towlette

The quality is similar to Polish - very thin, made of paper, easy to tear

it is small, it is difficult to wipe hands thoroughly

It was the test of the US TOTM

the entree was chicken with noodles and vegetables in gravy

The Cleaning Lady (2018) - Movie Review - Duration: 5:16.

Hello good folks on Youtube!

I am back from the great annual Ramaskrik Film Festival and I am here to talk to you

about a new American horror thriller called The Cleaning Lady.

In The Cleaning Lady we meet the beautiful young woman Alice.

She lives a life that from the outside looks amazing.

Things aren't all that great though as she is having trouble in her life.

She has been seeing a married man for quite some time and even if she knows it's wrong,

she feels like she is unable to cut him out of her life.

One night, she tries to avoid this guy by having a dinner and long talk with her new

housemaid Shelly.

Shelly is also a young lady, but she does not have the beautiful looks of Alice or is

able to function when she has to interact with other people.

She also has a face that seem to have been disfigured and full of scars.

The two of them starts to become closer and closer, but there seems to be more wrong with

Shelly than just her burned scars...

The Cleaning Lady was one of the films that I had no idea what to expect of during the

festival, but the word of mouth for it spread quite quickly, with good reasons.

This is a slow building thriller that manages something that most slow paced films don't

by being interesting and engaging right from the start by having an opening scene that

got me invested right away.

After that the film has to rely on you as a viewer to get into the two characters Alice

and Shelley and the interactions between them.

Thankfully for the movie and for us, the two actors that has the job of making this film

work both does a fantastic job.

Rachel Alig is excellent as Shelly.

She nails the part of being this fragile, socially awkward person and with the addition

help of the outstanding make-up on her face, she becomes someone you might not want to

befriend yourself, but still feel empathy towards.

She is also able to turn it up when it becomes necessary and I was overall impressed by her

work here.

And I was equally impressed, if not even more by Alexis Kendra as Alice.

She delivers a great performance and she also wears several other hats on this production

as well.

She also co-wrote the script, produced and did the production design on this film.

Yet all of the extra stuff did not hinder her from being amazing on the screen.

I have seen her in some other films in the past, but I have never seen her as good as

she is in this one.

She is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and you will care and feel for her, even if

she is a flawed person.

The complexity of these two female characters gives the actresses more to work with and

makes them more realistic.

I don't want to go too much into their character traits as that's something I feel like you

should get the opportunity to discover yourself.

Kendra co-wrote this great script together with the regular collaborator of hers and

director of this film, Jon Knautz.

I haven't seen any of his previous features, but judging by both his writing and directorial

skills on The Cleaning Lady, I really need to do so.

He is able to get great performances out of his actors, he is directing with confidence

and knows how to set the tone, style and pace of the film and I am sure we will hear much

more from him in the future.

The film feels like something that would exist in the world of Spanish thrillers, both by

the simple, but effective title of The Cleaning Lady to its story.

It did remind me a bit of a film called Sleep Tight from 2011, another thriller that you

absolutely should check out by the way.

Both can be looked at as slow burns with suspenseful horror elements taking over in parts of it,

and both have interesting characters that you will enjoy and remember.

The Cleaning Lady is a great, intelligent, intense solid movie.

It has everything a movie needs to have to succeed and I was surprised at just how good

this film turned out to be.

This gotta be one of the best thrillers that comes out this year, and if you are more of

a horror than thriller fan, the film still has enough disturbing horror elements that

should make it enjoyable for you.

There are particularly some backstory stuff to one of the characters that are hard to

watch.

So in conclusion, I strongly recommend The Cleaning Lady, go see it, buy it, however

you prefer to consume movies.

The Cleaning Lady gets a 4 out of 5.

I can't find any release date for The Cleaning Lady yet, as it is still doing its rounds

on the festival market, but as soon as it gets out then I am definitely buying it.

This is only one out of several films I will be reviewing from the excellent Ramaskrik

Film Festival, so get ready for more videos over the next few days of films that hasn't

been released yet.

Salad of canned fish with peas - Duration: 1:37.

Ingredients for 6 servings: canned fish in oil - 1 can (240 g); cucumbers - 2 pieces; potatoes - 4 pieces; peas - 100 gr; salt; pepper; mayonnaise - to taste

Hello everyone! Today Priprava club prepares a simple salad with canned fish

First, you need to boil the potatoes, cool it and clean it

Cut the potatoes into cubes or straws

Slice the cucumber. You can use fresh or pickled cucumber

Add green peas

Add salt

Add black pepper

Add mayonnaise

Gently soften the canned fish with a fork

Add canned food to salad

Put the salad in a salad bowl. Bon Appetit!
