USA news on Youtube Oct 24 2018

The United States is teeming with multicolored beauty through the autumn season, and there

are some unique destinations to add to your list for leaf peeping.

Maybe you've already discovered these gems, but these are the fall foliage stops you should

not overlook.

Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho - Idaho's prime peeping period is September through October, so take

a drive along the scenic byway from Sandpoint to the Montana border for a vast display.

Portland Japanese Garden, Oregon - This 5.5-acre garden possesses an unexpected magic when

fall strikes.

Trees within the exotic outdoor escape bring a different take on fall color that's a welcomed

treat for those who haven't experienced Asia in the autumn.

Sweet Creek Trail, Oregon - Let's be honest, all of Oregon radiates with autumn glory.

This trail's winding bridges and paths become coated with fiery-hued leaves, and Oregon's

signature moss adds a touch of vibrant green to the rich colors from the trees.

Seattle, Washington - You don't always have to hike deep into the wilderness to see outstanding foliage.

Seattle's tree-lined streets mean lots of deep reds and rich oranges in view from your

favorite coffee shop or restaurant.

June Lake Loop, California - accented by a jagged mountain backdrop and an explosion

of dominantly bright yellow aspens, you can soak up the autumn scenery while lounging

by the lake.

Flagstaff, Arizona - Leaf lovers can ride the chairlift to admire the slopes blanketed

with golden splendor.

Whether you're strolling through town or wooded paths, there will be quite the show wherever

you go.

Banner Elk, North Carolina - Surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains meld with beautifully colored

trees for a fantastic view of autumn's splendor.

One of the best vantage points is the famous Mile-High Swinging Bridge atop Grandfather

Mountain.

Boise, Idaho - With mountains in the background and plenty of trees dotting the streets, the

artsy, enriching city turns into a breathtaking urban forest come fall.

Drive in any direction from Boise, and you are bound to see even more gorgeous scenery.

Bar Harbor, Maine - Mid-October is prime time for the color show and the diversity of autumn

shades makes for an attractive spread.

The multi-hued treescapes and the blue ocean views create quite the combo too.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming - Moose, elk and sheep roam about and dramatic mountains create a

stark contrast in color, while lakes reflect all the beauty like giant mirrors.

Lewis Hamilton net worth: How much is F1 star worth? Can he win US Grand Prix? completed one half of the job to secure a historic fifth World Championship by putting his Mercedes on pole position for the US Grand Prix. Hamilton will seal the title in Texas today if he takes the chequered flag and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel fails to finish second.

The German was slower only than Hamilton in a nail-biting qualifying session, but he will be demoted to fifth after incurring a grid penalty for his failure to slow sufficiently under red flags in Friday's practice. Kimi Raikkonen will subsequently join Hamilton on the front row with the Brit's team-mate Valtteri Bottas in third. Earlier this year it was confirmed that Hamilton would race for Mercedes for at least another two seasons.

The 33-year-old signed a new contract with the German manufacturer that will see him to the end of the 2020 campaign. "It's good to put pen to paper, announce it and then get on with business as usual," Hamilton said at the time. "I have been part of the Mercedes racing family for 20 years and I have never been happier inside a team than I am right now. "We are on the same wavelength both on and off track - and I am looking forward to winning more in the future and shining even more light on the three-pointed star.

The British racer's net worth is estimated to be a staggering $285million (£218m), according to Celebrity Net Worth. Team WAX Interview Series: Evan Vandenberg, Business Development - Duration: 5:32.

Devi: Hey guys I'm Devi! Welcome back to the Vlog here. This is our first episode

using our new format. Where we're gonna be sitting down and talking to the

employees here at WAX and learning more about their day to day. Really getting

into some details about what is going on here at the WAXoffice. So we're gonna be

talking to Evan today from WAX about what it is that he does. So, Evan tell us

a little bit about yourself and what it is what's your role within WAX Evan: Yeah, so

my name is Evan Vandenberg and I am the I guess the newest addition to the Biz Dev

Team. So, really that's you know in terms of Biz Dev we're kind of focused on

partnerships is really how I look at it. Devi: How's everything going so far me what

brought you on board with WAX? Why the choice? Whythe jump? Evan: One I really

like the content we're working on. I think we're doing a bunch of

really really of the revolutionary stuff not just like not just in gaming which I

came from a bit of a gaming background but also in blockchain which was a big

kind of like hobby of mine on the side and so like the content side

of it like what I get to work on is awesome and then people at WAX are just

like they're awesome to work with and a grind

everyone here is working their butt off Devi: Super, super hard. Yeah. Evan: Yeah yeah Devi: and

so being a new on the business development team and having been a fan

of blockchain for so long what do you guys have I mean you said you focus on

partnerships and sort of reaching out different brands is there anything that

you can hint at you know the little treat so to speak what do you got coming

up, coming along Evan: Yeah, I think I've been kind of warned that we should try to stay away from some of like the direct stuff

someone like that stuff but you know I think if anything it's really like the

best is kind of like yet to come like the stuff that's getting worked on right

now the stuff isn't development like that was the stuff that told me to come

here I like talking to William for a couple hours about some of the ideas and

things that they're working on and kind of like where this could progress. It's

far outside of what we're just doing today.

Like I think kind of this is the tip of the iceberg and it gets deeper and

better from there. Devi: Yeah, it really does there's man it's, it's such

an exciting time and and so exciting to be sort of at the forefront. I'm so

grateful that I get to be here to even like talk to you guys about this stuff.

So, I mean what are you in terms of your day-to-day what's going on for you

like right now I mean I know you've got some really exciting things that you

can't quite talk about yet I'm sure for various reasons but I mean yeah well day

to day what's it look like for you. Evan: So, day to day I mean I guess we can we can

talk about kind of like day to day activities but I think primarily you

know it's been Devi: I love the secrecy it makes so happy Evan: Yeah, I'm not trying to be like that

Devi: No it's great. It is amazing, because that's what that means that like

that's how exciting this stuff is right? That then I mean you can't even quite

it's an awesome. Sorry, go on Evan: Yeah, so

I think you know primarily when I first

got on it was very like heavy with blockchain kind of like blockchain based

gaming and so NFT ERC-721 these kind of like crypto kitties and other

tokens. Non fungible tokens. Working with those companies and now it's really

broadened into a much wider kind of like let's we can really apply these same

principles to you know the largest gaming companies in the world and really

bring like a completely new item economy you know to them and one that I

think is beneficial not only to the actual publishers themselves but like

massive beneficial to the consumer as well so I think there is like a pretty

virtuous you know business model for all parties involved which is you know kind

of rare. Devi: Yeah, I think like you kind of mentioned it's it's almost an entirely

new way to look at. I mean it's it's own economy in and of itself it's it's a

fascinating sort of melding of the digital world into the imprint that it

has on real world economics and like what's sort of developing with it as is

super super exciting. Evan:I agree Devi: But you say you've been into blockchain for a

while now so having said to me what to you blockchain is such a new and

emerging technology that it's almost sort of difficult to wrap your head

around the direction of it but for you I mean what are the most exciting

implications of blockchain it what what really kind of gets you fired up about

it? Evan: You know I kind of put on pause for a bit just because you know work and life just

got crazy busy and then a Ethereum got reintroduced me kind of like in the

the early you know pre ICO for them days and that kind of was a really got me

back into it. So, start actually you know mess around and building some like kind

of like Dapps and taking courses for Ethereum and yeah that was kind of

the intro to blockchain and then I knew I wanted to make a move into that

space and so it was kind of perfect timing with you know my last company was

kind of going through a transition phase and I left and you know it was kind of

dead seven getting into blockchain and you know it kind of was very synergistic

in terms of video gaming and that background and then also blockchain so

Devi: Well thank you so much for taking the time I know you out of your

incredibly crazy days doing what you guys are doing to sit down with us here

and talk but Evan thank you again thank you so much this has been fantastic we

really appreciate, we go back very soon and and hear about all

the new things that are coming down the pipeline so yeah Evan: What loves it

Devi: You're very welcome thank you guys so much for joining us today this has been

great. Please make sure to subscribe if you

haven't go ahead and head over to WAX's social media and let them know what you

guys think as always because they are listening. So, thank you again so much for

being with us Evan and Devi out.
