USA news on Youtube Oct 24 2018

when we add material to our project to edit it video, audio,

Adobe Premiere photography gives us the possibility of creating an exact copy of

all those files that we are importing but not only gives us that

possibility also allows us to transcode it to another format that is more

compatible with the program and if we are using a few files too

heavy that the program costs reproduce them fluently gives us the

possibility to create proxy files. In this video we will see step by step all

the options that we have in the tab intake adjustments found in

the new project creation window Are you ready?

With the intake adjustment tab we can decide from the beginning what

is going to happen with the files that we're going To edit by default. the

"ingest" box will always be deactivated in the case of not needing

that Premiere makes copies or transcodes will be deactivated and

we will not touch anything in this tab on the contrary we will have to activate it

to be able to make use of the options that Premiere gives us if we select copy

Premiere will make a copy of the files that we have on cards

memory or external hard drives in the location that interests us in adjustment

preset we have two options copy using MD5 verification and

copy it without using this verification I advise you to always leave the

MD5 verification. What does this check? takes care that the copy

of the files is accurate, there may be cases that when copying files from a disk

hard to another without this verification small data or metadata as they can

be some frame or millisecond of audio they want without copying this to be so

small the program does not notice it but to reproduce then the video we can

find with lags between these two tracks. with the verification option

MD5 we make sure that what we copy It remains the same as the original file.

In main destination we can choose to save it in the folder where we have the

draft. use adjustment destination pre-established that in this case we are

will copy in the location that we have given on the memory disks tab

virtual in the video and audio section captured

if we choose creative cloud files we will make the copy in the cloud using

the space that they offer us having a active adobe account can access

to those files from anywhere and finally we can place it in a

folder that we select if we press it the explorer opens us so that the

let's choose for example I have created one for

save the copies of the files there that Premiere makes, we select it and

press "choose" the next option that we have is to transcode with this

option we will create from the files that we import other files

with a format more compatible with the program that will be those used in the

editing in presets we can choose what format we want

that the material that we import not to confuse it with

proxies these files will be the same as the originals but with different

format, proxies are files normally with resolutions and qualities

inferiors that are only used during the time of the edition so that the

program go more fluid when exporting the finished video Premiere will never use the

proxy files will use the originals, then ok here Premiere shows us a list

of settings to change the format to our video

it's a matter of choosing the one that most agree on main destination we have

the same options that we saw previously if we choose to create proxy from

new premier gives us some adjustments however, pre-established however

that in the section transcode here yes the video size varies as you can

see in the different options the resolution 1024 x 540 we will use it

when we have original material in 4k 5k and 8k

the resolution 1280 x 720 when let's work with 1080p or 720p files

adjustments of 1536 x 790 we will use it when our material is 6k and for

last adjustments VR when our material has been

recorded in 360-degree cameras for each size we can choose three types of

different codecs we have the ProRes, the GoPro CineForm and the H264, the ProRes is

very similar to the GoPro CineForm and with the H264 we will obtain files that occupy

fewer spaces choose from all the more it suits you I usually use the GoPro CineForm

because it's the same as the ProRes but It is newer.

As with the other settings we gives the same options to save the

proxy finally to finish we can choose who creates us at the same time a

exact copy of the material that we are going to import and its proxy file in adjustment

preset we choose copy plus the proxy setting that suits us in

main destination we choose where we want to keep us

the copy and at the destination of the proxy where we want the proxy to save us if

you need more information about creation of proxies I advise you to see the

video proxy files Well I hope as always this video

of the Premiere dictionary has been of help in the next video of this

series we will know thoroughly the area of work of the program if you do not want

lose you do not think about it subscribe to the channel that is completely free a

hug and see you in the next video

bump: Let Us Work - Deaf Pilots - Duration: 3:53.

I've always wanted to be a pilot I'd look at the planes overhead and say I

want to be a pilot I've wanted to be a pilot since I was five when I was in a

car accident we had to hop onto a plane to fly back home because the car was no

good I remember seeing the wing to my left and that had a profound impact on

me I fell in love with flying and couldn't stop talking about it after

that when I said I wanted to fly my parents sat me down and explained that

jets required radio communication since you're deaf you can't do that I was

eight years old and I was heartbroken

there was a woman who was a licensed pilot and she was deaf intrigued I asked

her I thought deaf people couldn't be pilots she said oh they can but for

private and small planes out there it was at that point I became determined to

take flying lessons later in life I

applaud the FAA for its safety culture which is deeply ingrained unfortunately

that built-in safety culture comes at the expense of deaf pilots if there's

even a trace of doubt about your safety as a pilot the FAA will automatically

deny your request all the barriers thrown at me were indeed frustrating

to become a pilot you have to go and see doctors frequently to be examined the

first doctor I went to didn't know what to do with my being deaf and immediately

referred me to the FAA I explained that deaf people could be pilots and told him

the specific statute but that process took six months just for me to get my

third class medical certification which was incredibly frustrating

the reason I'm not satisfied with being a private pilot is because it's limiting

and then I can't make an income from that if I could work for major airlines

I could earn a living better yet I could fly and visit the world FAA s denials

are hiding behind the stigma of being deaf because the FAA is strongly

centered on two-way radio communications and where both parties can talk to each

other I've been a private pilot since 2014 and I have over 120 to 25 hours of

flight time deaf Pilots Association or DPA has a goal with FAA to collaborate

with them technology has done amazing things and I want to see changes it's

possible that future generations of deaf people can become professional pilots

what's new now is that flights our satellite base and GPS based there are

many advantages to that such as saving costs and it's safer to

the proposal to FAA is that some things need to be adjusted to accommodate

technology they have plenty of funds they can make those changes

the FAA culture that denies me as a deaf person to become an airline pilot has

had an impact on my self-esteem because I feel I want to contribute to society

the best way I can and the way I can do that best is through flying but I can't

so I feel somewhat less of a person I hope that DPA can help promote future

generations to become the first generation of many deaf pilots

I hope the FAA becomes more efficient in utilizing the next-gen system

I also hope they will recognize and embrace the safety benefits that deaf

pilots offer to aviation

you
