We are going out to eat!

Bren: Gus's Fried Chicken
This is actually not our fist time here!
Well, it is our first time at this exact restaurant,
but we went to a Gus's Fried Chicken in Knoxville, Tennessee when we went on our little Honeymoon trip!
Yeah, that was in Tennessee!
They have another branch there, and that's where we went.
But who knew that there was also one in Detroit!!!
We found it when we were looking online before, and Seigo was so excited to go!!
When we found this place, I really couldn't wait to come to Detroit!!
Let's stop wasting time and go eat!
I'm hungry!
It's been so long, so I know I'm gonna pig out!

Bren: Want to take a picture?
Seigo: I'm starving!
Here's the menu.
Bren: It's still the same.
Bren: I think I'll have sweet tea.
Seigo: We have to get some fried okra!
And some fried green tomatoes!
Seigo: We ended up ordering a lot of food!
We ordered so much!
Seigo: I wonder what's gonna come! I can't wait!
We got some fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and a 3 piece set.
Dark and light.
Bren: We got 3 dark and 3 light!
That's right!
And we got some sides.
It was a combo, so we got to choose 2 each.
I can't wait!
I was really waiting for this moment!!
Bren: It's been a year!
That's right! IT'S BEEN A YEAR! (*≧∀≦*)
A whole year...
This is bad...
I can't control my hunger...

It's hard to find this if you're not in the south!

The meat is kind of different.
And this is a drumstick.
But I think yours is better!
This chicken is a little more tender.
It's not too spicy, so you can probably eat it even if you don't like spicy food.
The macaroni and cheese is good too!

The skin is delicious, and the center is tender!

I try not to eat too much because it makes me feel sick...but I ate too much!
I couldn't have kept eating!

It was so delicious! Our first Gus's Fried Chicken in a while!

It was amazing!
I wish there was one in Japan!
It's only in a few parts of the US.
Yeah, there aren't many.
If you are coming to the US,
see if there will be one near you!
Why not go!
You could plan your whole trip around it! 🙃
Yeah, even if you come for just that, I think it's worth it!
Because it's so good!
It's in fun places like Knoxville or Detroit
So you should go!
