Meghan Markle, 37, stepped out in London this evening to attend the WellChild Awards 2018 with her husband, Prince Harry
The Duchess of Sussex once again showed off her daring sense of style, choosing to not conform to Royal norms by wearing a striking black power suit
Meghan matched her husband, who looked dapper in a charcoal blue suit, as she entered the awards being held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel
The slinky Altuzurra suit was made up of a tailored black blazer, tight-fitted trousers and a satin camisole
Meghan wore the striking blazer unbuttoned, showing off a small pin on her right lapel that was also worn by Harry
Underneath her blazer, the former actress wore a silky, satin camisole top by Swedish fashion house, Deitas, retailing at around £293
She matched the all-black ensemble with a pair of tight-fitted black trousers, which flared out from her knee clinging to her perfectly shaped legs
Meghan wore the trousers around her waist, nipping her in and showing off her enviable figure
On her feet, she wore a classic pair of sky-high black court shoes, pointed at the toe, in keeping with the structured, sharp look
Keeping things simple, she carried only a small black clutch bag in her hands, with a simple gold chain for a strap
The look was reminiscent of the 80s power suits worn by her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, who was a fan of the tailored look
Suits are not often worn by Royal women, showing once again how Meghan is a modern Royal and choosing to ignore outdated norms and rules
Replicating the hairstyle she wore at her last public appearance last week, the 37-year-old wore her glossy brunette hair in a casual, messy up-do
Contrasting with the structures nature of the suit, the whimsical hairstyle featured wispy bits of hair dropping down and framing her face
She kept her makeup simple, opting for just a flick of mascara and subtle smokey eye, paired with lashings of shimmery pink highlighter
During the WellChild awards, the philanthropic couple met with sick children, workers and patrons of the charity
WellChild is a UK-based charity that helps to get seriously ill children and young people out of hospital and home to their families
Meghan's outfit for the event was strikingly similar to the all-black ensemble she wore last week to a special charity performance
Watching the hit musical Hamilton, the Duchess wore a sexy black mini tuxedo dress by Canadian brand, Judith & Charles
The thigh-skimming dress was perhaps Meghan's most daring look to date as the Duchess of Sussex
