I have collected all the 3 boarding passes Boston to Rome, Rome to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Delhi

I've reached here after just getting done with the my immigration and security check

This has been the worst security check experience

I usually don't generalize based on a single experience

US is said to be the most developed nation of the world

It doesn't mean you stop behaving well with others

at least treat others well

I was going through my security check

As usual, I have two bags. So I've taken out my laptop..

Camera, in fact you don't have to take out the camera

So I have taken my laptop out and put it in the scanner for scan

I was told to go to a separate place

So you stand with both your hands up and your whole body would be scanned

So this passport was left in my pocket, and then as soon as I got out of it

This gentleman speaks so fast that I couldn't follow what he was saying

Well, I'm tellling while I can speak and understand English

He got a bowl and he put all my stuff (passport and other things) in it

After that the way I was treated was really bad

He started saying in a very fast pace that, " I am going touch you here and there...

..I'm going to touch your private parts if you have a problem we can take you to another room, do this there

Yet again he was speaking very fast

I requested him speak a little slower so that I can follow him and then I could understand what he was saying

Actually, I was unable to understand as to what are the parts that he'd be touching as part of the frisking

So that if I have a problem, I would rather do it elsewhere than in front everyone

So, this is my personal experience, I am sharing my experience

There are so many Indians live here and they could have a different experience could be different

Many of the viewers could have traveled and many not have experienced this hassle at all

I feel that I should share my experience of whatever I have been through with you all

And if this happens more often US Administration should intervene and should take care of this

If things get better it would be great

Well, after they started frisking me and started touching as usual like it happens in India too

I generally don't have a problem with it and as I don't possess anything wrong, why should I even be afraid

And then he asked to tell him if it pains, I didn't really understand what kind of pain would I feel

I didn't really understand what was he trying to say

after this, he rolls my T-Shirt up and he pulled my lower

He asked me, 'You're not wearing a belt?' I replied that I don't have a belt

And he put his hands inside and pulled the elastic of the underwear and so on

I am being honest, I'm feeling uncomfortable while sharing this here. You can imagine how it felt there

There people around and they were people waiting and they were looking at me. It was embarrassing

I feel this could be done in a much better manner and it should be done that way

This not the way to frisk and check people, out of my personal experience

There's another guy who calls from there saying, "Is this your bag?"

I said, "Yes, it's mine but let me get done here". He says, " Come here first after you are done there" in a very rude manner and wasn't polite at all.

And he asked me, "Do you have any sharp or harmful objects in this bag?" I said no there isn't any

He said in English in a really fast pace"Okay, I am going to open this and you'd not be able to touch it after this"

He opened this bag, this bag opens along it's length from here. The way he was opening, I was a bit concerned that things may fall allover the place

I requested him to be little careful with it so that things don't fall allover. He says, "I know how to do my job"

Then I thought this is USA, if I say anything more I might get in to trouble so I stayed calm and quiet

I was carrying Granola for the journey and I have a 10 hour lay over in Rome. I'll be hungry so it's better to carry some food.

It's sealed container and I just bought it from the STAR market it was in poly bag. He threw the poly bag and put the box inside and asked me to pack it myself

Then a lady came forward to help, she picked the poly bag and gave it to me. I thanked her and she smiled back at me.

When a lady who's one among you can be so courteous. Why can't you folks be better than being rude and harsh

It was next bag now and the same set of questions, instructions and the whole drill repeats. He found some food. This time I chose to stay calm and patient

I closed my bags and he said I could go. I didn't really say anything, I closed my bags and started gathering my stuff

I picked my shoes and stuff everything was allover and it was mess out there. And this when you could miss your belongings

This is what happened to me at the Jeddah Airport, my wallet and all my pen drives were left in another tray and I forgot to pick it up and it was left out

I would like to tell you guys that these things will happen. So if you travel to states you might even experience such situations

The first thing is not to panic, stay calm and let the process go as it's supposed to

panicking will only worsen things

Just make sure that you are composed, At Jeddah Airport, I panicked and was trying to juggle between a lot of thing around and I ended up missing my things

Do not miss your belongings, stay calm and composed and you anyways have to cooperate with them.

Please ensure that you collect all your belongings including the passport and boarding pass and stuff

By the way, I've settled here. It's very comfortable here. Logan Airport is a very good airport

There are these comfortable sofas, there's free wifi and also spaces to charge your devices and work

It's very comfortable with the recliner seats and other amenities

It's 1.30pm and I am heading towards my gate from where I need to board the Etihad Flight at 10 in the night.

As it is a 10-hour layover, I am in Itlay in a different country

A lot of people ask me if they need to get a transit VISA in such countries

generally, if you are flying across countries you'd not need a transit VISA. However, some countries depending on the transit time you may need one

Now, each country has their own regulations around the transit time

Some countries go by 10 hours and some go by 12 hours. So in order to be safe, it's always better to check with airline and embassy before you book your tickets

It is very important you do that otherwise, you'd be stuck at times and may get into hassles.

Unlimited Internet is available at this airport

even at Boston airport it was unlimited

I wish this also happens in India

Busiest airports like Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai are still offering a limited internet

I have always been praising Delhi airport

but I should say them at least provide internet wifi without any time restrictions.

Tomorrow I am going to reach Abu Dhabi

Etihad Airway's terminal even offers free shower facilities

I just loved it

I wish Airport Authority of India, Delhi International Airport limited watch this video and do something in this context

Such small things can make a big difference

This creates a good impression of our country

A seat without a Window!

Though I got to eat Indian food in USA

But I am just loving this South-India food

I wish I could get some more

its 1 pm

we are going to land after 15-20 minutes

thanks to the cabin crew members who offered me another seat after boarding was completed

I told them that I am feeling claustrophobic

So feel free to ask for any help to the cabin crew

I just read Jet Wings inflight magazine

came to know that they have completed their first 25 years

They started flying in 1993

I took their flight from Mumbai to Delhi at that time

At that time I was not knowing that it is one of their initial flights

I loved this professionalism

While starting this trip I took the same Jet Airways from Delhi to Abu Dhabi

She was there in the crew

There are many passengers like me who take Jet Airways flight to travel

So its possible for us to remember the crew members, but...

crew members like Deepa have to deal with a lot of passengers like me on the daily basis

in such situation she remembered that I lost my wallet while going to the US

This shows how much they care about their customers! how professional the team is!
