or those planning to come in USA to work or study

In this video I am going to cover

All these information which I am going to share now is based on Rahul's 9 years experience in USA

And my travelling experience of 15 days in USA

So lets start

USA is the 3rd largest country in the world

India comes 7th

So there can't be one particula way to travel all round the country

for eg. trains are the cheapest way to travel all across India

it does not apply to USA

Trains in USA called AMTRAK are expensive way to travel

Though they are quite comfortable

So now I am going to tell you how can you travel short and long distances in this country

Short distance = traveling for 3-4 hours

for eg, Boston to New York or New York to Washington DC

Bue is the cheapest way to travel short distance in USA

Aggregators like Wanderu can help you get cheap tickets

they can be even cheaper like 1 US $

Wanderu tells you about the best way to travel from one place to the other in USA

If you book the bus well in advance you can get the tickets even for 1 US $

These are the major bus companies

ChinaTown buses are another way to travel here

In many cities there are a few places which are called China Towns because of the presence of Chinese population

You can travel for as low as 5 US $ in china town buses

You do not have to buy tickets in advance

I can even hire a rental car to travel in USA

Almost 80-90% cars are automatic

Unlike India, all vehicles are left-hand drives in USA

American company, Uber is also a good option to travel inside the cities

You can also use Lyft. Its like Uber

These app-based cabs are cheaper than the other regular yellow taxis

Uber does not accept payment in Cash

It happened with me when I was in Virginia

I used the same Uber app which I use in India

but it asked me to change the payment method, as Paytm doesn't work here

I have used the same Indian account in Russia, Egypt and Thailand....

I just had to change the payment method to Cash

but Cash doesn't work here

I downloaded Lyft, but they didn't accept my axis bank's credit card

I prefer Debit card over credit card as they charge interest on foreign currency transactions

Now lets talk about Long distance

let me explain long distance this way

its like you are travelling from North to South India or Rajasthan to Kolkata

so if you are going to travel long distances between east to west coast

actually Atlantic ocean side is the East coast, Pacific side is called West Coast

So if you are travelling between the coasts, then ...

it is actually a big distance

if you travel this distance by road, it will take 3-4 days

so its better to travel such long distance by flights

buses charge almost 300-400 USD and will take a lot of time to travel this distance

whereas if you book flights in advance you can get the tickets in 100-150 $

Now I am going to tell you about some helpful websites

These are the aggregators and can tell you about the cheapest fare between two cities

Now I am going to tell you about a special website

This website do some tricks with air fares and gives you the cheapest possible fare

It is not useful for Asian countries or in India

but in USA, it is very useful

I saw a dirt cheap fare from Orlando to Columbus in just 44 US $ through this website

another website is

airfarewatchdog

Though this you can come to know about some attractive fare deals

There is another application called ITA matrix

Now Google Flight use this software to give you information about flights all over the world

Google flight is more user friendly than ITA matrix

if you can understand ITA Matrix, it can be also helpful to you all over the world

There are two low cost carriers in USA

Spirit and Frontier airlines

You can get return tickets for even 40 $ if you book them in advance

I was getting a return ticket from Atlanta to Orlando in just 40 USD

which is actually very cheap

But they just allow a small bag to carry for free

other than that small bag is chargeable

whereas in India and other countries, another small bag is usually allowed for free

i flew with Frontier, the seats were not reclining

Unlike South-East countries you wont face any problem in getting Veg food in USA

Its because USA is the land of immigrants

people from all over the world have come here with all their cultural richness in USA

That is why you can get variety of food, or even Indian food easily in USA

he is a fan of Chipotle, a mexican food chain

you can get veg food at chipotle, subway, mcdonanlds, pizza hut, etc..

You can also check an article for details. Link is in the description.

Just say "No meat, No Fish or No Eggs" wherever you go

You can also check the menu in the restaurants

They mention the ingredients in the particular dish

You can even ask them to prepare a particular dish without meat

So this is how you can get food according to your choice in USA

You can find Indian restaurants in major cities like new york, boston, san fransisco

You can also get the indian grocery items in India stores in USA

You can find all Indian brands from parle-g to Haldiram's in such stores

dal, rice, buiscuits... you can get all raw material in such stores

You can get everything there which you find in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan

You can check YELP app to know which restaurant or which cuisine is better in a particular restaurant

you can check the ratings provided by the customers like us

You can also check the reviews of a restaurant on Google.com

you will get the location, photographs, etc details in the search results

At Dollar Tree stores, you can get all the things for just 1 USD

You can buy eatables and many other things in just 1 US$ from these stores

You will find atleast one popular store in every city

for eg. You will find Publix in Miami and Atlanta area

ShopRite in the east coast cities

At Wallmart, you will find everything from Tshirts to Milk, fruits, electronic gadgets, etc.

You can get good quality things at reasonable price at Walmart stores

you will find Walmart everywhere in USA

Target is not good for groceries

its good for clothes, electronics, etc, but not for grocery items

You can get soft drinks, chips, etc. at Target stores

it means I can get ready to eat things, frozen food at Target stores

You can access free WiFi at any Starbucks

You can charge your gadgets and do your work sitting in a Starbucks

ordering something to eat is not necessary

I like Starbucks because their free wifi can really become helpful in the time of emergencies

you can also go to other cafes or restaurants to access the wifi, but ...

... but you have purchase something to eat in other cafes/ restaurants

You can also visit a Public Library to get free wifi

Every city has a public library

You can even use their computers if you dont have your own laptop

anyone can use the facilities, irrespective of their citizenships

you can find such public libraries in every city. be it small or big

In India we have Airtel, Vodafone, Jio, etc.

in USA, they have ...

GSM providers are AT&T and T-mobile

Verizon is CDMA operator

Most of us use GSM phones in India, so I will focus on GSM service providers only

I have Samsung Galaxy S7, a GSM phone

Now let me tell you about Mobile Virtual Network operators

They buy data and voice in bulk from the 3 big service providers at cheap rates

and then they sell these data and voice packs to end users at cheaper rates

There are a lot of MVNOs in USA

Getting a sim in USA is very easy

I was not asked for any document, photo or copy of my passport

I have H2O Wireless sim

Got it from a Target store

I got 4GB data for 1 month in 30 USD

I can make unlimited calls in USA

I can also make unlimited calls to India on 10 specific numbers

even text messages

there are many other MVNOs offering packages at different rates

Roaming is free all over the USA

USA is very expensive when it comes to stay in hotels or hostels

I stayed in hostels in Thailand and Malaysia for as low as 100-150 INR

I tried to book a hostel in Boston for a backup plan

I tried to search a lot of hostels through booking and wego.com

but every hostel, hotel was over 2000-2500 INR per night

You can also try AirBnB in USA

Just make sure you prefer those hosts having 4 stars and above

these are also some booking websites, but we have never used

but i thought of sharing at this time

You can even take shelter in cafes or supermarkets which are open for 24 hours

in case of emergencies

atleast you wont have to spend night on the road

You can call 911 in case of any emergency in USA

Police or ambulance will reach in next 2-3 minutes

This is for the US citizens, but as you also have a legal visa, you can also use this service

The medical system is very good but very expensive

In India, you can buy medicines from any chemist shop, but here you need a prescription from a doctor

only over the counter medicines can be purchased without the prescription

Doctors charge a heavy fees

so thatswhy you should always buy travel insurance

A good travel insurance covers medical emergencies, accidents, etc.

You missed a flight or your luggage is lost then it will also be covered under the insurance

I lost my debit card on the way, If I am not wrong that loss was also covered under my insurance poiicy

I took insurance from Reliance General Insurance

These days getting a travel insurance is just a cake walk

I always recommend to buy a travel insurance policy if you are travelling out of your country

Travel insurance for USA, Canada and Schengen countries cost more than other countries

Courtney Hadwin was born to be wild! The America's Got Talent standout, 14, performed a jaw-dropping rendition of Steppenwolf's 1969 hit "Born To Be Wild" for the semifinal round that was complete with a high-pitched scream and a display of her dance moves

Hadwin, who was chosen as judge Howie Mandel's golden buzzer winner, received high praise from the majority of the panel and a standing ovation from the crowd

"You were born to be wild! This was wild! You were amazing. My prediction is you're going to be the winner," Mandel told the fan favorite vocalist from County Durham, England

Though she was introduced during the AGT auditions as an extremely shy teenager, Hadwin was anything but reserved when she hit the Dolby Theater stage

"You're a bundle of excitement and it's raw and messy. I saw you at the beginning of the show, shaking like a leaf and then you come out on stage and turn into a maniac," Simon Cowell said

"That's why I absolutely love you." Meanwhile, Heidi Klum applauded Hadwin for staying true to her personality and character

"You bring a whole different vibe to it all. Most girls your age sing pop songs but you bring that gritty rock-n-roll, and I love that

You're authentic and original," the former Project Runway host said. However, Mel B had one criticism for the young singer

"There's no doubt, you're just out there and I love it. For me I have to be really honest, I felt your nerves … and I'm not used to that with you," the Spice Girl member said

All in all, Hadwin revealed to host Tyra Banks that she was shocked by the warm embrace from fans and viewers

"I can't believe I've gotten this far, I just can't believe it," the teenager said

Hadwin has been consistently wowing AGT audiences with her performances. But she has also faced backlash during the season 13 competition after fans discovered that the NBC show had not completely disclosed Hadwin's previous music stints

Turns out, just last year, she made the top six on U.K.'s The Voice Kids, even playing young Cosette in Les Miserables in her home country

Hadwin's grandfather defended her, telling the Daily Mail: "We always believed she would do well in the U

S.A. We knew they would get it in a way that the U.K. didn't. We knew she would go down a storm over there

Florence and Helene are two tropical storms

that on September 9 they became hurricanes

These two hurricanes were followed by the storm Isaac.

Florence has intensified rapidly since it was formed
