Trey Gowdy Dropped A Russia Bombshell That Ruined Robert Mueller For Good

The investigation into alleged ties between Trump and Russia continues to drag on.

There is an easy way to prove Donald Trump is innocent.

And Trey Gowdy just proved it with one bombshell.

Much of the investigation centers on the Christopher Steele dossier.

Steele put together the document which claimed the Russians colluded with Trump campaign

associates after being commissioned by Fusion GPS.

The dossier has been exposed as fake news and its origins are a subject of great mystery.

Trey Gowdy and the House Intelligence Committee are trying to get to the bottom of just who

paid Fusion GPS to hire Steele.

Was Fusion GPS working with the Russians while this was going on and was Steele on the FBI's

payroll as he was putting together an opposition research memo on one of the two major party

candidates for President?

But Democrats are fighting back.

They criticized the Committee for subpoenaing the Department of Justice in order to answer

these questions.

And Trey Gowdy revealed in an interview he believes it is because they are afraid the

FBI used fake news as the basis for their investigation into Trump and Russia.

The Daily Caller reported:

DEMOCRATS ARE "FEARFUL" THAT THE TRUMP DOSSIER IS "A PIECE OF FICTION," ONE THAT

THE FBI USED TO FORM THE BASIS OF ITS INVESTIGATION INTO WHETHER THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN COLLUDED WITH

THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT.

THAT'S ONE THEORY THAT SOUTH CAROLINA REP.

TREY GOWDY IS PROPOSING FOR WHY DEMOCRATS ARE PUSHING BACK SO HARD AGAINST A GOP EFFORT

TO GET ANSWERS ABOUT THE DOSSIER FROM THE FBI AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT.

IN AN INTERVIEW WITH THE DAILY CALLER, THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE MEMBER ADDRESSED

CLAIMS FROM HIS DEMOCRATIC COLLEAGUES AND SOME IN THE MEDIA THAT HE AND HIS FELLOW REPUBLICANS

ARE ATTEMPTING TO DISCREDIT THE DOSSIER AND ITS AUTHOR, FORMER BRITISH SPY CHRISTOPHER

STEELE, IN ORDER TO HELP TRUMP.

"I DON'T KNOW WHY ANYONE — FROM [CALIFORNIA REP.] ADAM SCHIFF, TO VANITY FAIR, TO RACHEL

MADDOW — WOULD NOT BE CURIOUS WHETHER OR NOT THE WORLD'S PREMIER LAW ENFORCEMENT

AGENCY RELIED UPON A DOSSIER IN CONNECTION WITH AN INVESTIGATION WITHOUT VETTING IT,"

GOWDY TOLD THEDC ON FRIDAY.

"FOR THE LIFE OF ME I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE FOCUSED ON THIS," GOWDY SAYS

OF THE DEMOCRATIC PUSHBACK, "UNLESS THEY ARE FEARFUL THAT THE BUREAU DID RELY ON A

PIECE OF FICTION."

No evidence has emerged to back up the conspiracy theory the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.

The obvious explanation for that is the whole basis of the allegation – the Steele dossier

– was fake news.

The FBI has been stonewalling Congressional investigators for months on answers about

their relationship with Steele and how they made use of his memo.

Critics suspect they are afraid of the truth being made public.

If it came out that the foundation of the investigation into Trump was a hoax then there

would be immediate calls to shut down Robert Mueller's investigation.

It would be a massive embarrassment for all concerned and it would also end the swamp's

best chance of removing Trump from office.

Two Democrats Arrested For This Insane Threat On Trump

The left is ratcheting up their threats against Donald Trump.

It seems like every day another liberal is firing off their desire to inflict harm upon

the President.

Now two top Democrats were just arrested in one ugly scene.

The latest provocative move by Democrats against Trump came when two Democratic Congressmen

were arrested at Trump Tower while protesting for amnesty.

Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) and Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) were arrested as part of a demonstration demanding

Trump give amnesty to so called illegal aliens.

The Washington Examiner reports:

"REPS.

RAUL GRIJALVA AND LUIS GUTIERREZ WERE ARRESTED OUTSIDE TRUMP TOWER TUESDAY AFTERNOON AFTER

SITTING IN THE STREET OUTSIDE THE BUILDING IN MANHATTAN.

REPORTS FROM THE SCENE INDICATED GRIJALVA, D-ARIZ., AND GUTIERREZ, D-ILL., WERE AMONG

MULTIPLE LAWMAKERS WHO JOINED A CROWD SITTING IN THE STREET OUTSIDE THE BUILDING.

REP.

ADRIANO ESPAILLAT, D-N.Y., WAS AMONG THE OTHER FEDERAL LAWMAKERS WHO JOINED IN THE PROTEST.

POLICE ALSO ARRESTED NEW YORK CITY COUNCIL SPEAKER MELISSA MARK-VIVERITO.

TRUMP WAS IN TRUMP TOWER ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON AFTER GIVING A 40-MINUTE SPEECH TO THE UNITED

NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY EARLIER IN THE DAY."

While they claim this was a peaceful act of civil disobedience, it is a signal to their

unhinged base that massive and unyielding resistance to Trump is their only course of

action.

There is evidence to back up this claim.

Just recently, celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain declared he would feed Trump poison.

And journalist Sally Quinn claimed she could kill Trump with a witches hex but had so far

refrained from doing so.

Critics also note Democrats are slow to condemn the violent alt-left groups Black Lives Matter

and Antifa.

Both groups have been responsible for violent riots that have destroyed property and caused

bodily harm.

Recently in Berkley, hundreds of Antifa terrorists who were armed to the teeth with bats, clubs,

and shields stormed a peaceful rally of Trump supporters and began to bludgeon them until

they were forced to retreat.

It was a scene out of a post-apocalyptic novel.

But this continues because Democrats like Congressmen Grijalva and Gutierrez continue

to stage public displays of "resistance" to Trump.

They are encouraging their base to take to the streets by not condemning the extreme

measures their foot soldiers are employing.

One Thing That Could Put This Democrat Rep Behind Bars - Duration: 12:00.

One Thing That Could Put This Democrat Rep Behind Bars

Democrats are known for their shady practices.

They oftentimes flagrantly violate the law, and avoid any legal consequence.

But one thing that just happened to a Democrat Rep could lead towards jail time.

Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has had a bad few weeks.

Recently, the FBI seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Wasserman Schultz's

information technology (IT) administrator.

In response, her now former IT administrator, Imran Awan, attempted to flee the country.

But one thing he did before leaving is stirring up a lot of trouble for Wasserman Schultz.

U.S. Capitol Police found a laptop that Wasserman Schultz was frantically trying to keep from

prosecutors.

And the laptop appears to have been planted for Capitol Police to find.

In a tiny room that formerly was used as a phone booth in the Rayburn House Office Building,

it was found, likely planted by Awan.

Along with the laptop, a Pakistani ID card, copies of Awan's driver's license, a congressional

ID badge, and letters to the U.S. attorney were found.

Police also found letters in a notebook marked "attorney-client privilege."

As reported by The Daily Caller:

"A LAPTOP THAT REP.

DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ HAS FRANTICALLY FOUGHT TO KEEP PROSECUTORS FROM EXAMINING MAY HAVE

BEEN PLANTED FOR POLICE TO FIND BY HER SINCE-INDICTED STAFFER, IMRAN AWAN, ALONG WITH A LETTER TO

THE U.S. ATTORNEY.

U.S. CAPITOL POLICE FOUND THE LAPTOP AFTER MIDNIGHT APRIL 6, 2017, IN A TINY ROOM THAT

FORMERLY SERVED AS A PHONE BOOTH IN THE RAYBURN HOUSE OFFICE BUILDING, ACCORDING TO A CAPITOL

POLICE REPORT REVIEWED BY THE DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION'S INVESTIGATIVE GROUP.

ALONGSIDE THE LAPTOP WERE A PAKISTANI ID CARD, COPIES OF AWAN'S DRIVER'S LICENSE AND

CONGRESSIONAL ID BADGE, AND LETTERS TO THE U.S. ATTORNEY.

POLICE ALSO FOUND NOTES IN A COMPOSITION NOTEBOOK MARKED "ATTORNEY-CLIENT PRIVILEGE."

THE LAPTOP HAD THE USERNAME "REPDWS," EVEN THOUGH THE FLORIDA DEMOCRAT AND FORMER

DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN PREVIOUSLY SAID IT WAS AWAN'S COMPUTER AND THAT SHE

HAD NEVER EVEN SEEN IT."

Wasserman Schultz has had a difficult time keeping her story straight when it comes to

this laptop.

First, she was demanding its return, stating that since she is not currently under investigation,

and only her IT administrator is, the laptop should remain in her hands.

Later on, she claimed that she didn't know about this laptop, and that it was the property

of Awan.

But after the laptop was found, the police found that it had the username "RepDWS,"

which makes it very difficult for her to claim she has never seen the laptop.

It is clear that Wasserman Schultz did not want this laptop to be found.

And Awan hiding it for police to find creates a lot of questions.

Rep. Louie Gohmert is convinced that the laptop was placed their deliberately, and that the

situation needs to be investigated.

Speaking with TheDCNF, Gohmert stated:

"IMRAN AWAN IS A CALCULATING PERSON WHO MADE GREAT EFFORTS TO COVER HIS TRACKS, BOTH

ELECTRONICALLY AND PHYSICALLY," GOHMERT TOLD THEDCNF.

"PLACING THAT LAPTOP WITH HIS PERSONAL DOCUMENTS, WHICH MAY WELL INCRIMINATE HIM, THOSE HE WORKED

FOR, OR BOTH, IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT IN A HOUSE OFFICE BUILDING, WAS A DELIBERATE ACT BY A

CUNNING SUSPECT, AND IT NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED."

Do you think that Debbie Wasserman Schultz should be investigated?

U.S. presented denuclearization timeline to North Korea, but Pyongyang rejected it - Duration: 2:39.

So the question that many had for months for North Korea and the U.S. was... has Washington

set a formal timeline for Pyongyang's denuclearization?

And according to the latest reports... the answer seems to be 'yes'.

The U.S. reportedly asked North Korea to hand over well over *half....of its nuclear weapons

within a set timeframe.

Our Lee Ji-won has more.

It's being reported the United States HAS presented a denuclearization timeline to North

Korea, but the regime has refused to accept it.

Multiple U.S. media outlets, including Vox, reported Wednesday that U.S. Secretary of

State Mike Pompeo requested Pyongyang to hand over 60 to 70 percent of its nuclear warheads

within six to eight months,... which Washington or a third party would take possession of.

But it's unclear what the U.S. offered in exchange, if anything.

Citing two people familiar with the discussions, Vox added that Pompeo has presented the timeline

to North Korea numerous times within the past two months, but it was rebuffed each time

by the North Koreans, led by Kim Yong-chol, Pyongyang's Vice Chairman of the Ruling Workers'

Party's Central committee.

According to the Washington Post, U.S. intelligence agencies estimate the North has as many as

60 nuclear warheads,... but the exact number is not known.

Therefore, even if the regime DOES agree to hand over more than half of its warheads,

it would be difficult to verify that was actually the case.

A source told Vox this is why Pompeo's main goal at the current stage of negotiations

is to get North Korea to officially disclose how many nuclear weapons it possesses.

As the talks have not made much progress,... Washington could be losing patience.

The U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, told reporters traveling with her during a

visit to Colombia, that everything is currently in North Korea's court.

She went on to say the international community still expects Pyongyang to keep its promise

to denuclearize and the U.S. is willing to wait if the international community wants

to.

But she warned the U.S. is NOT going to wait for too long.

The negotiations are proving tricky as North Korea is sticking to its guns on the U.S.

fulfilling its side of the bargain.

North Korea's state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun published an editorial on Thursday, urging

Washington to declare an end to the Korean War.

It said ending the war is the first step to securing peace in the region and around the

world, adding it will set a positive atmosphere and build confidence between Pyongyang and

Washington.

Will US sanctions spark turmoil in Iran? - Duration: 7:09.

Will US sanctions spark turmoil in Iran?

Will US sanctions spark turmoil in Iran?.

If the US was hoping renewed sanctions on Iran would cause immediate economic turmoil and mass anti-government protests, it may be disappointed, though real pain could still be on the horizon.

US President Donald Trump described the embargoes that returned on Tuesday as "the most biting sanctions ever imposed".

That was already an exaggeration since they only reimposed measures that were in place before the 2015 nuclear deal which he abandoned in May.

His national security advisor, John Bolton, said Iran's leaders were already "on very shaky ground" after days of protests across the country against high prices and the lack of political reform.

But while there is plenty of despair in Iran over the state of the economy, and fear for the future, the return of sanctions were marked by relative calm.

A large-scale security deployment and mobile internet blackouts certainly played a role, and getting a clear picture of the situation outside Tehran is almost impossible due to heavy reporting restrictions.

But the chatter on social media indicated at least a lull in the protests, while analysts said the idea that economic pain could lead to a full-blown revolution was far-fetched.

"Western observers are often quick to erroneously assume that localised demonstrations.

are wholesale rejections of the Islamic republic," said Henry Rome of the Eurasia Group in a briefing note.

"Despite a rise in public protests, the regime does not yet face an existential threat.

The security forces are brutal, efficient, and loyal."   Good news  Moreover, there was actually some good economic news this week for once, with the rial gaining more than 20% since Sunday in response to new foreign exchange policies announced by the government.

That points to the fact that Iran's problems are driven at least as much by internal dynamics as US pressure.

Trump's aggressive rhetoric certainly helped fuel the run on the rial, which has lost half its value since April.

But it also resulted from Iran's disastrous decision that month to fix the value of the rial and shut down currency traders, triggering a boom in the black market - moves that have finally been reversed.

"The government was late in its decision-making, but it is the right move," said Mohammad Reza Najafi Manesh, head of the business commission of the Tehran chamber of commerce.

He said sanctions were secondary to dealing with Iran's internal problems, and his chamber was in meetings with the government on Wednesday pushing for additional support such as subsidised imports of raw materials.

"It's not our first time dealing with sanctions.

We know how to search for solutions, and we will do our best to meet our needs locally," said Najafi Manesh.

Second wave  There are real losses from the sanctions.

Big European firms like Total, Siemens and Peugeot have already pulled out before their investments could bear fruit.

In November, the second wave of sanctions will hit Iran's vital oil sector, as well as shipping and financial transactions.

"November is when the hammer drops: A serious chunk of oil export revenue will evaporate, and Iranian banks will likely find themselves cut loose from much of the international banking system," Rome said, adding that Eurasia Group expected Iran to lose sales of 700,000 barrels of oil a day.

Many doubt whether President Hassan Rouhani can respond effectively, given his failure to address many long-standing problems around unemployment, corruption and the sclerotic banking sector.

Parliament has summoned him to demand answers, and on Wednesday impeached his labour minister Ali Rabiei.

"The economic section of Rouhani's team is the weakest part of the government.

Everyone knows this, but he never changed his direction because they are his allies," said Mohammad Reza Behzadian, a former head of the chamber of commerce.

Others say the US hostility could actually be an opportunity, already prompting signs of a corruption crackdown, including the arrest of the central bank forex chief.

Eastern support  And while much attention has been focused on European efforts to resist US sanctions, the more crucial decisions are likely to be taken elsewhere.

Figures collated by economist Faezeh Foroutan, and published by analyst James Dorsey, showed China alone accounted for 25.6% of Iran's imports and 19.7% of its exports since March - more than all European countries combined.

China, India and Turkey have already said they will not significantly cut their oil purchases from Iran.

Tehran hopes that Trump lacks the international goodwill enjoyed by his predecessor Barack Obama to make sanctions stick.

"There is a big difference this time: before nobody supported Iran.

But now, all the countries in the world are supporting Iran," Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters on Wednesday.

"America has zig-zagged constantly, so now no one trusts them.".
