This Closed Door Meeting Was The Final Nail In Robert Mueller's Coffin

Robert Mueller's Russia investigation is on the verge of unraveling.

The FBI and Justice Department have been covering up explosive documents that could prove Donald

Trump's innocence.

But one closed door meeting just hammered the final nail in the special counsel's

coffin.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes has been hot on the trail of the corruption

happening within the FBI and Department of Justice.

He subpoenaed documents that would explain how the fake news Trump-Russia dossier was

used in the investigation as well as if the FBI employed it to obtain FISA warrants to

spy on Trump campaign officials.

The FBI and Department of Justice stonewalled him for four months.

This led many to believe they were covering up horrific actions by the Obama administration

and the Deep State.

But facing a deadline to produce the documents, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein met with Speaker Paul Ryan in a closed door meeting and agreed to

produce certain records.

The Washington Examiner reports:

"REP.

DEVIN NUNES ANNOUNCED LATE WEDNESDAY THAT HIS PANEL, THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE,

APPEARS TO HAVE REACHED AN AGREEMENT WITH THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO GAIN ACCESS TO "ALL"

DOCUMENTS AND WITNESSES IT SOUGHT BY A DEADLINE AT THE END OF THE DAY.

"AFTER SPEAKING TO DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL ROSENSTEIN THIS EVENING, I BELIEVE THE HOUSE

INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE HAS REACHED AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE THAT WILL PROVIDE

THE COMMITTEE WITH ACCESS TO ALL THE DOCUMENTS AND WITNESSES WE HAVE REQUESTED," NUNES,

R-CALIF., SAID IN A BRIEF STATEMENT.

"THE COMMITTEE LOOKS FORWARD TO RECEIVING ACCESS TO THE DOCUMENTS OVER THE COMING DAYS."

THE ANNOUNCEMENT CAME HOURS AFTER FBI DIRECTOR CHRISTOPHER WRAY AND DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL

ROD ROSENSTEIN MET WITH HOUSE SPEAKER PAUL RYAN, R-WIS., ON CAPITOL HILL.

THOUGH A SPOKESPERSON FOR RYAN WOULD NOT REVEAL THE SUBJECT OF THE MEETING, IT CAME AS REPUBLICAN

LAWMAKERS DEMANDED THAT THE FEDERAL AGENCIES TURN OVER DOCUMENTS TO THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE

PANEL ABOUT THE TRUMP-RUSSIA COLLUSION PROBE.

THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT DECLINED TO COMMENT WHEN ASKED BY BUSINESS INSIDER ABOUT NUNES'

STATEMENT."

Securing these documents could put the Russia investigation to bed once and for all.

The document was opposition research funded by the Clinton campaign.

And the FBI has made it known that they have not been able to verify any of the allegations

of collusion.

If the entire probe was based on the fake news dossier, Mueller should be compelled

to close up shop, apologize to the country, and issue a public letter exonerating the

President.

Sean Hannity Is Getting Fed Up With Jeff Sessions

What Sean Hannity is calling the "biggest scandal in American history" is a chain

of events, could have been stopped by Attorney General Jeff Session.

Hannity is putting the blame for long and drawn out Russia collusion investigation on

Sessions because he recused himself from the investigation.

Now, however, documents that have been released to the American people show that the entire

investigation stood on a flimsy foundation, at best, and it should have been the Attorney

General's job to blow the whistle in such cases.

In his Opening Monolog on Monday, Hannity laid out the facts that he believes show a

broken Justice department, and a "missing in action" Attorney General and news media:

"The Department of Justice has released documents used by the government to justify

the FISA surveillance warrant against Carter Page, a former campaign adviser to then-candidate

Donald Trump.

The materials released by the DOJ include an October 2016 application to the Foreign

Intelligence Surveillance Court to wiretap Page as well as several renewal applications.

It is highly unusual for documents related to FISA wiretap applications to be released.

Though heavily redacted, the documents show that the infamous and unverified Steele Dossier

was a major component of the 2016 surveillance warrant.

The dossier, which was opposition research funded by the DNC and Hillary Clinton campaign,

contains salacious allegations against Trump.

It was also a major component used to justify subsequent renewals.

The visible sections of the released FISA documents do not indicate the dossier was

ever verified.

Instead, the FBI claimed that Steele was 'reliable' based on his previous work.

The FISA records also reveal that a September 2016 Yahoo News article by Michael Isikoff

was a significant part of the government's warrant application.

But London court records show, and Republicans emphasize, that Steele briefed Yahoo News

and other reporters in the fall of 2016 at the direction of Fusion GPS — the opposition

research firm behind the Steele Dossier."

Hannity went on to discuss how egregious a disruption in justice many of the actions

surrounding this investigation are.

"We have confirmation that America's top-secret FISA system was totally abused for political

gain by top echelons [sic] of [federal law enforcement]," Hannity said.

"Jeff Sessions, where are you?

Your nation needs you to do your job tonight," he said.

"Your federal government has been using opposition research to spy on a political

campaign," Hannity said.

"This should rock the soul of every American in the country."

Bill Clinton has been a fixture in Democrat politics since the 1980s.

But his scandal plagued career has finally caught up with him.

And he just got the worst news of his life.

Democrats believe they have a good chance to win the House of Representatives in 2018.

But new polling shows Trump's approval numbers rising and the Republicans catching up on

the generic ballot poll of which party Americans want to see win control of Congress.

Customarily, Democrats have deployed Bill Clinton on the campaign trail to rally their

base.

But not this year.

Because of the controversial #MeToo movement, Democrats have branded Clinton as "toxic"

due to the numerous allegations of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment made against

him.

Democrats in swing races want no part of the 42nd President on the campaign trail.

Politico reports:

"Democrats are looking to embrace the #MeToo moment and rally women to push back on President

Donald Trump in the midterms—and they don't want Bill Clinton anywhere near it.

In a year when the party is deploying all their other big guns and trying to appeal

to precisely the kind of voters Clinton has consistently won over, an array of Democrats

told POLITICO they're keeping him on the bench.

They don't want to be seen anywhere near a man with a history of harassment allegations,

as guilty as their party loyalty to him makes them feel about it.

"I think it's pretty tough," said Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), vice chair of the

House Progressive Caucus and one of the leading voices in Congress demanding changes in Washington's

approach to sexual harassment.

His presence "just brings up a lot of issues that will be very tough for Democrats.

And I think we all have to be clear about what the #MeToo movement was."

After booting Sen. Al Franken precisely because they wanted to draw a clear contrast with

Trump, Democrats across the party's ideological and geographical spectrum acknowledged the

political trouble that any appearance with Clinton would cause.

"I value the assets of what the Clintons can bring.

He did a lot for Georgia when he was president," added Georgia Democratic Chair DuBose Porter,

treading delicately.

"He carried Georgia.

The personal side that is now being highlighted, we'll have to measure."

Privately, many Democratic politicians and strategists are harsher and firmer: Don't

come to their states, and don't say anything about their campaigns.

They are still worried about saying it out loud, but they don't want him now, or maybe

ever.

They know Republicans would react by calling them — with good reason — hypocrites."

Democrats ran into this problem in 2016.

Hillary Clinton could never shake Donald Trump's charges that she protected her husband while

trashing his accusers.

Pundits believe this helped depress Democrat turnout.

If the left suffers any similar drop in enthusiasm again, it will kill their chances to win back

Congress in 2018.

So don't expect to see much of Bill Clinton in the fall.

He is finally paying the price for a lifetime of scandal.
