Bannon has promised full cooperation.

HOWEVER, WHITE HOUSE LAWYERS SAY THAT EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE WOULD NOT BE WAIVED BY TALKING TO
MUELLER, SINCE HE IS WITHIN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH.
MUELLER SUBPOENAED BANNON LAST WEEK TO TESTIFY BEFORE A GRAND JURY, PER THE N.Y.
TIMES: "THE MOVE MARKED THE FIRST TIME MR.
MUELLER IS KNOWN TO HAVE USED A GRAND JURY SUBPOENA TO SEEK INFORMATION FROM A MEMBER
OF MR.
TRUMP'S INNER CIRCLE."
THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE REFUSED TO ACCEPT BANNON'S OBJECTION, AND SERVED HIM
WITH A SUBPOENA ON THE SPOT:
BANNON SPENT 11 HOURS ON CAPITOL HILL YESTERDAY, NBC REPORTS.
THE SOURCE TOLD SWAN THAT WHITE HOUSE LAWYERS CONTINUED TO INSTRUCT BANNON NOT TO ANSWER
QUESTIONS, UNTIL THEY HAVE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMITTEE ABOUT THE SCOPE OF QUESTIONS.
THE SOURCE, USING A COLORFUL METAPHOR TO EMPHASIZE BANNON WILL COOPERATE WITH MUELLER, SAID:
"SO THE IDEA THAT BANNON IS TRYING TO HIDE ANYTHING: YOU'RE SCARED OF THROWING MEAT
TO THE KITTEN, BUT YOU'RE FINE WITH THROWING IT TO THE TIGER?"
The collusion narrative is a hoax.
It has been investigated to death by three Congressional committees, the FBI, and now
Mueller.
And every inquiry has turned up nothing.
It is well past time Mueller issue a public statement exonerating Trump and his campaign.

Trey Gowdy is one of the Republicans top investigators in Congress.
It was his committee that uncovered Hillary Clinton's lies and betrayals following the
terrorist attack at Benghazi.
But now all hell is breaking loose because he turned in a resignation.
Gowdy resigned as a member of the House Ethics Committee.
This panel is set up to investigate fellow members and hand out punishments for misconduct.
But it's not a popular panel because you have to dig into your colleague's behavior.
The Washington Examiner reports:
"REP.
TREY GOWDY, R-S.C., IS STEPPING DOWN FROM HIS ROLE ON THE HOUSE ETHICS COMMITTEE, CITING
A "CHALLENGING WORKLOAD" AS THE REASON FOR HIS DEPARTURE.
GOWDY INFORMED HOUSE SPEAKER PAUL RYAN OF HIS DECISION IN A LETTER ON JAN. 10, THE DETAILS
OF WHICH WERE NOT MADE PUBLIC UNTIL SATURDAY.
THE SOUTH CAROLINA REPUBLICAN WAS TAPPED TO LEAD THE HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE LAST JUNE,
AFTER THE FORMER CHAIRMAN, REP.
JASON CHAFFETZ, R-UTAH, LEFT CONGRESS FOR A JOB AT FOX NEWS.
"WHEN I BECAME CHAIRPERSON OF THE COMMITTEE ON OVERSIGHT AND GOVERNMENT REFORM, I KNEW
I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP ALL OTHER COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS TO INCLUDE JUDICIARY, INTELLIGENCE,
AND ETHICS," GOWDY WROTE.
THE FORMER PROSECUTOR WAS THE ONLY LAWMAKER SERVING FOUR SEPARATE COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS
WHEN HE STEPPED DOWN FROM THE ETHICS PANEL LAST WEEK.
"I WAS HAPPY TO FINISH OUT THE CALENDAR YEAR AND CONCLUDE SOME MATTERS THEN PENDING
BEFORE THE COMMITTEE," HE SAID.
RYAN'S OFFICE EXPRESSED GRATITUDE TO GOWDY FOR HIS SERVICE ON THE PANEL.
"MR.
GOWDY WAS SERVING ON FOUR COMMITTEES WHEN HE RAN FOR CHAIR OF THE OVERSIGHT AND GOVERNMENT
REFORM COMMITTEE," SAID RYAN SPOKESWOMAN ASHLEE STRONG.
"HE REQUESTED TO BE RELIEVED OF HIS DUTIES FROM THE ETHICS COMMITTEE SHOULD HE WIN CHAIRMANSHIP
GIVEN THE SIGNIFICANT INCREASED WORKLOAD.
WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR HIS FIVE YEARS OF SERVICE ON THE ETHICS COMMITTEE AND FOR AGREEING TO
SERVE THE REMAINDER OF THE CALENDAR YEAR."
Gowdy has also faced attacks by the swamp and Democrats due to his success on the Benghazi
investigation and because he has not given in to the anti-Trump hysteria.
The Examiner also reports:
"GOWDY FACED CRITICISM LATE LAST YEAR AFTER IT WAS REVEALED THAT HE USED $150,000 IN TAXPAYER
DOLLARS TO SETTLE A DISPUTE WITH A FORMER AIDE, WHO HAD ACCUSED THE GOP CONGRESSMAN
OF FIRING HIM AFTER HE REFUSED TO FOCUS HIS WORK ON INVESTIGATING FORMER SECRETARY OF
STATE HILLARY CLINTON.
HE HAS ALSO COME UNDER ROUTINE FIRE FROM DEMOCRATIC MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE OVER
HIS HANDLING OF MATTERS RELATED TO THE TRUMP WHITE HOUSE AND THE ONGOING FEDERAL INVESTIGATION
INTO RUSSIAN ELECTION INTERFERENCE.

ELIJAH CUMMINGS, THE TOP DEMOCRAT ON THE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE, SAID LAST MONTH THAT IT WAS "ASTONISHING"
GOWDY WOULDN'T MEET WITH A WHISTLEBLOWER WHO CLAIMED TO HAVE INFORMATION ON FORMER
WHITE HOUSE NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER MICHAEL FLYNN.
FLYNN PLED GUILTY ON DEC. 1 TO LYING TO FEDERAL INVESTIGATORS AS PART OF THE FEDERAL RUSSIA
PROBE."

The November midterm elections are just around the corner.
Both parties are gearing up for an election that could determine the fate of Donald Trump's
Presidency.
And one number just revealed Nancy Pelosi's chances of seizing power and impeaching Donald
Trump.
It's no understatement to say that the midterm elections will be a battle over Donald Trump's
political future.
If Democrats win back the House their unhinged base will demand the new majority initiate
impeachment proceedings against the President.
Midterm elections are contests of base mobilization.
Whichever party's voter base is more enthusiastic to vote will triumph in November.
One measure of enthusiasm is to examine the candidates' fundraising reports.
And an exclusive Bloomberg investigation found a record number 73 Democrat challengers are
outraising their Republican opponents.
Bloomberg reported:
"DEMOCRATS ARE HOPING A BLUE WAVE OF SUPPORT WILL CARRY THEM TO VICTORY IN THIS FALL'S
ELECTIONS.
IN THE MEANTIME, THEY'VE CAUGHT A GREEN WAVE OF CASH—THE TORRENT OF MONEY POURING
INTO DEMOCRATIC CAMPAIGN COFFERS HELPED 73 HOUSE CANDIDATES OUTRAISE REPUBLICAN INCUMBENTS
AND OPPONENTS IN RACES FOR OPEN SEATS IN THE SECOND QUARTER, A BLOOMBERG ANALYSIS OF FEDERAL
ELECTION COMMISSION DATA SHOWS."
Historically, this is normal.
The party out of power gains seats in a midterm election year.
Their voters are furious over losing the last Presidential election and are primed to send
a message.
Additionally, Republicans are defending 42 open seat races, which is a higher number
than normal for a party in power.
These races tend to be toss-ups or favor the opposition party because the majority party
can no longer count on a well known and well funded incumbent to run as their candidate.
Both of these numbers have Democrats like Nancy Pelosi drooling over the possibilities
the future holds.
They are measuring the drapes and counting down the days until Pelosi holds the Speaker's
gavel.
At that time, Democrats will – despite their campaign trail rhetoric – move to impeach
President Trump.
But all is not lost for Donald Trump and the GOP.
Republicans have the advantage of running with a booming economy providing wind at their
backs.
Second quarter gross domestic product growth clocked in at 4.1 percent.
And unemployment is at its lowest point since 2000 while consumer confidence is around an
18 year high.
Republicans have a record to run on.
Democrats are also conducting a foolhardy campaign to make Donald Trump's immigration
policies the central issue of the midterm elections.
While this issue is so to energize the Democrat base, it will also marshal Republicans to
rally behind candidates who pledge to fight for Donald Trump's Make America Great Again
agenda.
Democrats – and many in the fake news media – foolishly thought Trump's hard-line
immigration proposals were political death in 2016.
In reality, they were the fuel that powered his victory.
While Democrats are positioned to have a good showing in November, there are still three
months until Election Day and with a good economy and favorable issue fights ahead of
them, no one should count the Republicans out.

There is only one real scandal about collusion during the 2016 campaign.
And it has nothing to do with Donald Trump.
During an interview on Fox News Channel, Devin Nunes dropped the hammer on Hillary Clinton
with seven words.
Nunes appeared on Hannity to discuss the recent developments in the Russia investigation.
He was responding to the Democrats political memo, which ended up being nothing more than
talking points designed to distract from the real scandal—the fact that the FBI used
a fake news dossier paid for by the Clinton campaign to spy on the Trump campaign.
And make no mistake, it allowed them to spy on the Trump campaign.
The warrant allowed the FBI to look at emails and texts while Carter Page was a member of
the Trump campaign.
Nunes also blasted the Clinton campaign for being the one engaged in collusion.
They paid money that was funneled to a foreign spy who put together a hoax dossier in order
to swing the election.
But more worrisome for Clinton was when Nunes declared that, "It's clear collusion and
no one is investigating it."
That was a distinct call for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to appoint a special counsel
to investigate the real collusion scandal during the 2016 election – Hillary Clinton
and the foreign spy who worked with the Russians to try and destroy Trump.
