Gamescom is here.
Capcom is arriving at this big European gaming conference, and Resident Evil 2 Remake is
part of their carry-on luggage.
History tells us that Resident Evil fans may want to keep their ears and eyes open this
week, so let's take a look at what might be displayed in terms of new RE2 remake content
at Gamescom.
This year at Gamescom, Capcom will not be having any announced panels or showcases,
Instead, their big news is that they will have Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 Remake
demos playable.
This does not mean that they won't be releasing any new information on Remake.
We could still see new screen shots, a new trailer, new gameplay, or big news.
It just means there won't be anything to sit down and watch….or will there?
Twitch was big for Capcom during E3.
Might we see some new content unveiled Live on this platform?
There is even a new official Resident Evil specific Twitch channel that will debut this
Thursday of Gamescom week.
Will it be new RE2 REmake content to really get their follower count up?
Other outlets like your big video game media websites and the best YouTube channels will
be dropping info all week long as well.
So when should you start paying attention?
Now.
In the past Capcom has announced things pre-conference in order to generate buzz.
Officially, The media day will be on Tuesday, and the conference will close out on Saturday.
And why should you start paying attention?
At Gamescom 2016 we got a new RE7 gameplay trailer, the Mia tape, and at Gamescom 2017
we got a new Monster Hunter gameplay trailer.
Like RE2 both of these games were announced at E3 and set to release in January, so might
we see a Remake gameplay trailer this week?
Now that we are all excited "Yes!"
let's be a Steve Burnside and get everyone "I know what its like to be alone" down
because there is a chance that Gamescom will just feature the stale RE2 Remake demo we've
already seen a million times and instead be bombarded with Devil May cry info.
Thats right, a public release of the Leon demo, a brand new Claire demo or an Ada Wong
reveal are definitely long shots.
But that won't stop this channel from being on alert 24-7 all Gamescom week long, so follow
us on social media as we hope to bring you some new information on our favorite upcoming
game, Resident Evil 2 … I'm gonna do it again...reeemakkkeee!
Crimson Army, what do you expecting from Gamescom.
