I'm doing a review of The Sinner Episode three.

Let's jump into this review of Episode three of Season Two of The Sinner.

I literally cannot even with what is happening with Julian.

First of all, he gets sent to basically criminal court rather than Family Court for these murders

and Ambrose had no idea what was going on and it looks like it was the sheriff's department

and the prosecuting attorney who decided this all behind the main detectives back which

seems super shady and weird.

But also, he's 13 and it seems to me like he is not 100% sure of like what is happening

in the real world.

He's grown up his entire life in this cult.

In this secluded closed off place and only knows what he has been told by Vera and the

other members of this cult and I just feel like that is the wrong decision.

And second, like, my son is 13 years old and to see this character, Julian, he is in this

juvenile detention center which is basically jail, with lots of older guys who have probably

done really terrible things and not to say that what Julian did isn't terrible but

it's different and I understand that Ambrose recognizes that and he just has to help other

people recognize it too.

But, like, I just feel for this kid so much just because my son is this age and he is

– like just imaging him in that situation would be the most horrible thing and so heartbreaking

and I have a really hard time watching those scenes when he is there because I'm like,

"oh my gosh.

This child.

He's just a baby, basically."

It's crazy sad.

I'm just…I'm just so excited to see what happens this season with Julian and Ambrose

and Vera and everybody.

This season is so great.

I'm loving it so far.

I hope you guys are too.

It's just really great.

Also, can we talk about this mustache.

I'm in love with this mustache.

It's like the best mustache in the world.

We've got to talk about Vera for just a minute because I really feel like she might

be the most evil character ever and it's super understated.

And this is why I think she is the most evil character ever.

Because she has raised Julian to think that lying is bad and it is.

It's not a good thing.

She has brainwashed him to believe that if he lies he will be split.

Like his soul basically or what makes him him or what makes a person a person will be

split and then what does she do?

She asks him to lie.

Did you see the torment when he was like, "I don't want to lie about stuff."

And she was like, "They won't understand.

They'll think we're weird.

They'll think there's something wrong with you."

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

This is what people in cult's do.

They make you think one way and then they switch it on you and they make you do what

they say and this poor Julian is like so conflicted.

He doesn't know what to think.

He's so confused.

She's just making it worse.

That is why I think she is the most evil character ever.

Ugh.

It's like, grrrr.

I just.

I can't.

Also, Carrie Coon is amazing.

But she's evil in this show in such a good way and a bad way.

So there were lots of big revelations, right?

Yes.

Lots of big revelations, right?

Like Julian is Marin's son.

That was crazy when we realized that.

We see the name Julian all through the book and we're like, "What the fuuuuuu is happening?"

So then they go to the doctor and the doctor is like, "Oh I remember signing that."

And then Ambrose is like, "Well did you do any other, like doctor stuff for Mosswood?"

And he's like, "Hmmm, um I'm not sure.

Why do you need to know?"

And he's like, "Just cause we need to know."

And then the doctor's all shady and he's all like, "Um let me go look."

And then he just disappears and they find out he freaking killed himself.

Like what?!

Did you guys see that coming because I didn't.

I mean when he was gone for a really long time I was like something weird is going on

but I didn't think he was going to kill himself.

I thought maybe he liked was going to run or he was burning files or like…I didn't

know.

Kill himself?!

And then to find out that he's like this closeted member of Mosswood.

Like…what?!

This story just keeps getting better and better.

You guys, look what I did to my finger yesterday.

I don't know if you can see that.

Like I bruised it.

Look at the bruise.

We've been moving stuff around my house this last week.

Okay I just went off on a tangent.

Sorry about that.

And I like moved this thing and all of a sudden my finger hurt really bad.

I don't know if I broke a blood vessel.

I don't know what.

But my finger is so bruised right now.

I've never seen it look like this.

I just keep looking at it because it's creeping me out.

Sorry for the tangent.

Okay let's get back to the doctor.

So he just killed himself and then they find the rock thing and I'm like what.

I did not…this story is just…there's layers and I'm loving them all.

Also, all right I've talked with a couple of you through comments about detective Novak's

dad.

He's weird, right?

You just get this weird vibe from him.

What if he also is like a closeted weird Mosswood member somehow.

Okay let's just…I just want to take you on this path of where my thinking is going.

Okay so we see the flashback of Novak and her friend, Marin, in the bed after she comes

back after the one night staying in the cult when she first meets them.

And she's like, "Yeah I was telling them all about how your dad is really struggling

with your mom's cancer and dah, dah, dah…"

And she's like, "Why did you tell them that?"

And she's like, "I don't know.

They want to listen.

They're interested."

And then I was thinking what if they reached out to him after that and were like, hey we

can offer you like this missing piece of like feeling like a part of something or whatever

they offer people.

Whatever it is that cult's offer people.

I feel like they could reach out to him and offer that to him but then he has this daughter

and he doesn't want to leave and so what if he was like the doctor and he was like

this closeted member and it's just weird and that is why he is throwing off this weird

vibe and that is why he seems like he just doesn't want Detective Ambrose to like keep

working on this case.

It's just so weird to me and then he took him to that weird party and then like disappeared

for a while and Ambrose was like, "Where did you go?"

I don't know.

There's something off about him to me.

I don't know what it is and maybe I'm totally wrong and we'll find out in a few

episodes but I just get this weird vibe from him and I can't explain it.

I don't know.

MY FIRST TIME USING PRISMACOLOR COLORED PENCILS - FT. FLYING PINGS - Duration: 10:46.

Hi everybody. I'm Paula and I am here with my daughter Bethany hi how's it

going guys she's also flying pings and make sure you

visit her YouTube channel flying pings videos oh they are so

there's like so fast anyway guys I am doing colored pencils for the first time

I'm using prismacolor and I borrowed Bethany's pencils yeah I have a lot of

pencils I decided to buy quite a few pencils because I never draw digitally I

mean traditionally I draw always digitally so I decided get all these

pencils but I never use them I just have them all sitting upstairs so you know I

have a lot of stuff to borrow and you know how it is when you live with

somebody just borrow all their stuff but I have a lot of fun I drew a picture of

a little chibi girl and he's showing off the booty yeah this is like booty girl I

mean she does have boots on too you know well no they're not boots no it's more

like little shoes with thigh high socks yeah but anyway it was a lot of fun

colouring and yeah I had a little bit of trouble figuring out what colors to use

so you'll have to let me know do you use colored pencils and if so what kind do

you use cuz I know there's a lot of different types it's hard to use colored

pencils sometimes especially since a we decided to print out her drawing she

sketched a picture on this another normal notebook and then we decided to

print it out but printing it out that way made it so that there was some gray

in the background and then using colored pencils on top that kind of made things

smear and look weird out of the why probably because I was looking great

behind the picture so she ended up having to use different colors than she

was planning on so hopefully next time you will figure out a way to make it so

that you can use the colors you want without having to worry about that yeah

like maybe I could actually learn to draw digitally we don't easily I mean

yeah I know if you sketched your picture you can

just ink it and then erase the sketch and then color it just all in one go you

know without printing or anything like that yeah that would be good that would

be because that's always fun because if you do that that's what I did

for my tiny tiny little picture you saw oh yeah I was all I did was I sketched

it and then I inked it and then I erased all the lines underneath the inking

which is the little pen G used yeah anger yeah that's a real good idea

because erasers want to raise that but they'll erase everything else yeah and I

really like that and if you didn't see that video that she did you have to go

to flying pings and look she did a little miniature and I think it was the

size of a quarter it was about the size of a quarter it was fun because it was

drawing something that small it's very interesting you should try it yeah I I

might try it sometime but I don't know I feel like I need to progress a little

bit first but I don't know it'd be fun to try and challenge yourself yeah

everything yeah as long as I know I can use the ink

you've got like really good at proportions though because your

proportions are really good in this picture oh well thank you

her booty is just like perfect just like a very moody okay I know somebody in the

comments they were saying you guys get off on all this random stuff and they

said I sometimes forget what you guys were talking about at the beginning

because it's easy to get distracted and talk about things that have nothing to

do with the video like friends bristles you talking about like your first time

using colored pencils but it's so easy just started talking about booty because

I look at that picture there I mean what else is they belong oh my gosh that's so

funny but the person uh said that she was laughing she said she thought it was

so funny but yeah I I thought this was really fun but we got to come up with

like different challenges for me too there's so many cool challenges there's

this one challenge I think you should do because I think you'd really enjoy it

it's where you just have someone draw blobs on your piece of paper and then

you have try and turn those blobs into what you see can tell if you look at a

blob like oh I see a cat then you try and draw and show them how you see a cat

yeah and you draw like so you try to turn the blobs into a little cute

something yeah there's pretty much just used pencils or something on top and

it's like really simple and really fun is yeah that sounds like it would be fun

yeah it's like just like a little fun challenge

but when you say a blob like some of you draw just like either you take give him

a collar like a marker to do with uh or you give them a pencil they could just

sketch out whines I mean anything pretty much it's just

like most people use blobs of like collar I think yeah well that sounds

neat I think that would be fun yeah that sounds unique - I don't think I've seen

a video of that I saw I think I saw a KC golden do a video of that I can't talk

about KC golden entirely too much I'm sorry every time they go to a video

where they're going to see you I'm constantly talking about KC gold nor so

cute I love her setup - I might I'm striving for a setup quite like that you

guys can see here the setup that I was working on was trying to make a

traditional setup that's what she's using and it's just so hard to get

lighting proper oh I think it looks good I'm glad you like it though especially

when you zoom in a lot it starts looking way worse yeah well it looks good here

and I thought on your miniature it looked really good - it looked weird

just not supposed to zoom in that far I think you're expecting too much - though

my expectations are just high okay everything's got to be perfect yeah but

I like your desk I think it's neat yeah that's a little shaky I need to get like

a nice setup someday yeah that's like what I'd love to do I love doing

traditional work like it do you like preferred tradition or digital so far

traditional addition is a lot of fun the most fun thing about digital is that

there's no mess and also you can do crazy things you can't do digitally like

for those really bright colors or crazy shines and stuff like that yeah you in

tradition yeah I know that stuff so normally that's why after I do

traditional work I normally bring it to the computer and then add a lot of After

Effects on digital programs because I think it looks nice to add like shines a

pretty traditional work but yeah as well yeah well I should have said it

differently because I like drawing I mean I liked coloring this and

everything but I feel like I need to get better at it like get more practice but

I love drawing traditionally but then like you said putting a picture in a

programming colouring it because I can do so much yeah but also if you think

about it for you coloring traditionally must be a lot easier to instantly get to

learn yeah because it's something everyone understands like holding yeah

well did you you have to try and learn that learning

fear in order to know anything yeah so it is a lot bigger of a learning curve

it's something it's like you have to taste time yeah oh yeah traditional

pencils are a lot easier to pick up and figure out yeah well like shading the

hair I mean you know I didn't do it perfectly but at least I can understand

whoops yes I could understand my gosh

this is why we can't do voices in the same room right now we're sitting right

now there's anything it's funny it just makes it impossible to talk I'm so sorry

that's the word okay I'm done I'm done I'm so sorry guys okay okay controller

professionals out we're professionals we so much are and you know we're adults

and everyone yeah yeah we're adults um yeah

contrary to popular belief yeah oh my gosh I'm crying oh that's so funny

oh yeah the whole paper just attracted we are so no okay so guys if you have

any idea that's some good pencil action but the video well I was I there I

believe that in you ain't that in I want them to you were handing me colors and

stuff and I say you handed me this pen here because I didn't know

what my hand appears out of nowhere to help her okay I would ask Bethenny a

question like like hey what do I do for this or she's like oh well go ahead an

outline with this pen and I'm like I don't know what always I hand it to

her because I have these different pins up above there but I had like these

little things holding all the pencils and pens oh my gosh I tried to go to my

goodness I gazed up laughing hey I'm sorry we sound like we're drunk and I

know we probably are we know we're drinking Mountain Dew I don't know if

that counts see what the Diet Mountain Dew oh yeah

marker pen it's like mercury but it's like inky I

don't that was a good explanation I think I thought that was really good you

know okay I tried to make it normal okay okay yeah that we're normal now I'm
