Those ladies advised to talk the truckers, but I am not getting any ride

Most of them are saying that their company prohibits them to give rides to strangers

One of them said to approach someone owning a truck

I think I should go back now

I should also talk to the car drivers

Till now you must have understood that asking for rides on the highway is illegal

but you can stand in the rest areas, shoulders or areas like this

That was State Police car

I couldn't understand how to react

but I tried to hide this placard

and I deliberately started smiling more and more towards the car ahead of the police car

the police gave me a look and then went off

This proves that asking for rides at such places is not illegal

lets start again. Another car is coming

6:45 pm

I am very tired

but now I am in a car

I got this ride 10-15 minutes back

He says, its better to be inside the rest area to ask the people rather standing outside on the approach road

I am very much thankful to this gentleman

This makes me hopeful for hitchhiking in USA

He was the first native American who offered me a ride

now I think, I can make this hitchhike trip happen

i just used the restroom

Now I am going to refill my bottle

also going to ask everyone for a ride

Two people have already refused

But atleast I got to talk to them

Rusheb told me to say Hi to everyone

Now I am charging my camera and gadgets

The TV is so loud

its 9 pm

I was waiting for this moment for a long time

Finally he said yes

Now Jerry is taking me to Atlanta

USA is tricky

but now I am feeling good

Now I am going in this huge truck

its 9 pm

For safety reasons it is not advisable to hitchhike at such time

He is asking me not to show the interior as he wants to clean before that

This is a Volvo truck

Now I am going to visit Rahul in Atlanta, Georgia

I don't know Rahul when I am going to reach your place!

Before this I have done hitchhiking during the night in Thailand. This is my second experience

Though it should be avoided

but I had this in my mind that... after a certain time in the evening, I will stop asking the car drivers

they usually feel unsafe

in such situation the truckers may help

So I kept asking everyone who was coming out of the washroom

I also met some Afghans. They were happy to meet

We spoke in Hindi

Though they had to refuse as their car was already full

While talking to random people, I had to tell a lot about me

I even had to tell them that I am well educated and hold a PhD, so that I could convince them

He is still busy in making arrangement for me

I am having a very good time. My first experience in an Amercian truck

It's amazing that I meet people who say - I'm afraid of God getting into my life.

I'm afraid that when he comes, he'll take something from me. I'm afraid he'll reveal my disbelief that will put me in some trouble.

Let it better stay like it is now.

Fear of God, fear of His closeness, fear of something up in his sleeve - some sort of ace,

of something that during the course of my life will suddenly make me fall.

Our God is not like that. We do not have to be afraid of Him.

In this today's scene, we see two people who sowed terror. People were afraid to go near them,

when Jesus released these people from evil spirits.

Suddenly in the eyes of the Gadareans he himself becomes a threat - by his power, which he showed.

And yet this is not a power that would threaten anyone.

This is the power that - in fact - threatens only evil, wickedness and illusions that can destroy our lives.

But it will never threaten what is beautiful in us, what is life in us, what is calling for life in us.

Sur cette photo, vous voyez une girafe de 18 ans pesant 1.800 kilos, et j'ai reçu 900 kg de viande dessus », écrivait-elle selon USA Today

« Je n'ai jamais été aussi heureuse ».En France, l'affaire a fait réagir Rémi Gaillard, célèbre pour son engagement en faveur de la cause animale

L'humoriste a publié vendredi 29 juin un message sans concession sur Twitter : « La forme la plus élevée de la vie n'est sûrement pas l'homme »

D'autres internautes ont fait part de leur indignation, à travers des messages parfois violents

Face à ce déferlement de critiques, la chasseuse a tenu à défendre son point de vue

Dans un e-mail adressé à Fox News, Tess Thompson Talley indique que la girafe ne descendait pas d'une espèce rare, était âgée de 18 ans et qu'elle était « trop vieille pour se reproduire »

Selon la chasseuse, cette girafe avait provoqué la mort de « trois jeunes buffles […] ce qui avait provoqué la diminution du troupeau »

La chasse au trophée est encore légale en Afrique du Sud, tout comme en Namibie, en Zambie et au Zimbabwe
