BREAKING Trump Just Blew the Lid Off BIGGEST SCANDAL in American History

Trump's administration has uncovered a frightening, and deadly, fact: the Department of Veterans

Affairs has been letting its hospitals hire doctors and nurses with revoked medical licenses!

Apparently this has been happening for the past 15 years.

Clearly, and for good reason, it violates federal laws.

In direct contradiction to a 1999 law that bars any VA from hiring a healthcare worker

whose licenses had been revoked in any state, in 2002 the VA distributed guidelines that

allowed its hospitals to hire doctors and nurses that had a license in one of the 50

states, even if they had, previously, been subject to a license revocation.

A report by USA Today starts out, "Veteran patients in imminent danger at VA hospital

in D.C., investigation finds."

That report goes on to explain that the conditions at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical

Center in Washington, D.C., are so dangerous that the agency's chief watchdog group actually

put out a report alerting patients about the issues at that organization.

Apparently multiple issues were found at that location, such as lack of critical supplies,

including bone material needed for knee replacement surgeries and tubes needed for kidney dialysis,

due to an ineffective inventory system.

Worse, perhaps, than the lack of an effective system was the fact that the inspector general

found that senior VA leaders knew about the problems for months but did nothing to rectify

it.

In addition to this finding, the investigators reviewed 25 sterile storage areas and found

that 18 of them were dirty.

These types of reports from the inspector general are, in fact, not commonly made, with

the last one having occurred in January 2015.

The Washington V.A.'s medical director, Brian Hawkins, has since been relieved of

his position and placed on administrative leave.

In addition to the immediate danger posed by these issues, there is the larger issue

of whether or not a government-run healthcare system, as promoted by many liberals, would

be able to provide quality healthcare to U.S. citizens.

If this V.A. debacle is any indication, it most certainly

would not.

5 Major Differences Between America & North Korea - Duration: 5:59.

This is a clip of Trump and Kim shaking hands at summit.

Things are excepted to be better since this meeting so lets hope that things continue

to go smoothly.

As its been made clear there are many differences between the States and Korea and that's

what were going to be talking about today.

Hey guys im court mcingley and welcome back to the Most amazing top 5.

Lets jump right into our list of the top 5 major differences between America and North

Korea.

Coming in at number 5--School- So when it comes to elementary school and middle school

Kids in both Korea and America go to school roughly around 8am- and go back home around

3 pm.

But then when it comes to high school American kids might be pretty shocked to hear this

but in Korea the students go to school at 6 am and don't leave until 6 pm.

That is crazy to me.

Thats a 12 hour day.

Ive worked 12 hour days and gone to school slash studied for 12 hours a day and its exhausting.

I couldn't imagine doing that Monday to Friday for months on end.

The Korea schools say that they do things this way because their students must study

hard before they get into college- as it is very competitive.

Which makes a lot of sense.

I know a lot of people who have been overwhelmed with the transition from high school to college

and say they wernt prepared.

So Korea pushing their kids so hard doesn't really seem like a bad thing.

The real world is a scary place so the more prepared you can be the better.

Also in Korea students have a 10 or 20 minute break after each 40 or 50 minute class- and

then an hour for lunch.

So that seems like a good amount of break time.

In America high schoolers have school from 8am to 3 or 4 pm usually and only have 5 minutes

to get from one class to the next.

Also the subjects that are at a Korean high school are relatively the same as those at

American high school aside from classes of Korean- Chinese characters and home skills.

In at number 4--Buildings- Korea is a relatively small country- so in order to house everyone

the buildings need to be high up there.

This is why Korean schools are 5 floors high- and why so many of the apartments have so

many floors.

Also the buildings are closer together due to all the high rises being out there as opposed

to places being smaller and more spread out.

This is pretty handy as Schools- academys- and stores are all in a 1 mile area from a

persons home.

Yeah that's pretty convenient.

It can literally take someone only 30 seconds to walk to the store from their building.

Now in America buildings are also high.

But in some places like Georgia for example buildings are pretty low to the ground and

they are largely spready out taking up quite a lot of space.

There by distancing other businesses.

In a lot of places in America the buildings are spread out.

At number 3--Food- Both cultures have delicious food but its pretty different.

And obviously all households are different so things im mentioning on this list may not

apply to everyone but im just saying over all these are the differences.

In Korea its common for people to have a dinner made up of rice and side dishes.

One of the most popular sides is Kimchi.

For those of you who don't know this is a healthier food option that's made up of

cabbage- onion- garlic- fish sauce- and red pepper powder.

In America a lot of the time people will have fast food such as burgers and fries.

Where as in Korea people tend to eat home cooked meals more often then not.

A grade 5 student came over from Korea to California and said that the food she was

given at the school was much different from what they gave kids at school in Korea.

In America it was a lot of meat and bread or pasta- with not many vegetables.

Where as in Korea the students are provided with carefully planned and balanced healthy

meals.

Also in Korea portion control is a thing where as in America that's pretty much becoming

non-existent with everything just growing in size.

Another noticeable difference were the drinks.

In Korea most kids are given water- and soft drinks and juices are reserved as treats-

where as in America its whats most commonly consumed by kids.

So yeah big cultural difference when it comes to food.

And one more thing- fruit is really affordable in the states.

Where as in Korea fruit is pretty expensive so its considered more of a luxury.

I personally love fruit- and its odd to think of as something we take for granted.

Coming in at number 2--Transportation- Car culture is huge in America.

In most places in America you need a car to get around- aside from big cities such as

New York where a subway can basically bring you anywhere you need to go.

When it comes to North America its extremely hard to get around unless you have a private

vehicle.

Where as in South Korea you will see some of the worlds best public transit.

However I also need to note how Korea also design and manufacture some of the worlds

best selling vehicles.

So it all depends in the area in which you live.

But in Korea the public transit is your best bet for getting around regardless.

Where as in America its only beneficial in certain cities.

In at number 1--Respect- Respect is pretty different between America and North Korea.

In North Korea its extremely important to show respect for elders.

Don't get me wrong this is important in America as well only in North Korea they take

it up a notch and do things that Americans don't.

Such as bowing heads.

When a younger person is in the presence of someone who is an elder they are expected

to slightly bow their heads.

This is to show respect.

If 2 adults come across one another they expected to both slightly bow their heads.

Also in Korea addressing an elder by their name can be considered rude.

For example in schools they call their teachers teacher instead of Mr or Mrs whatever their

last name is.

In America its become a thing where teens call their parents by their names such as

Susan or Dan instead of mom and dad.

Yeah that would never fly in Korea- that would be seen as extremely rude.

Also Just Like in America January 1st is also celebrated in Korea.

Only in Korea all of the children bow to their aunts- uncles- and grandparents while saying

Happy New Year.

This bow is also different then the everyday bow- For this day the boys kneel down on both

knees and the girls kneel down on one knee.

Where as in America hugs would be exchanged- and sometimes the whole family doesn't get

together- but instead the night is spent with friends.

On this day in Korea the relatives give the kids advice and money.

Alright there you have it that was our list of the top 5 major differences between America

and North Korea.

Thank you all so much for watching.

Do Republicans Actually Hate The U.S. Flag? | Prompt - Duration: 3:24.

Lately, there's been a lot of talk from Donald Trump about black athletes kneeling

during the national anthem in protest of police brutality.

If you ask us, dodging responsibility for promoting violence against people of color

by literally wrapping yourself in the flag is way more disrespectful.

In fact, it seems kind of obvious that Republicans…

hate the US Flag.

Now, I don't mean to flagsplain you, but having to stand up during the NFL's national

anthem only *started* in 2009, and it was only because the Department of Defense paid

sporting events 7 million dollars to show, quote, "more patriotism".

So if an entire nation is gonna shit it's pants over a hallowed tradition, it should

at least be older than my mascara.

And reminder: Trump doesn't give one shit about respecting military tradition.

And here's the other thing, about the Flag.

There is an actual "Flag Code", which is a specific set of rules and instructions

about how the US flag should be treated and honored, and, newsflash, Republicans and Conservatives

violate it more than anyone else in the entire world, and it's not even close.

First, according to code: quote, "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding,

or drapery."

That means every American flag swimsuit, button-up shirt, and those douchey Tommy Hilfiger flag

shirts are, by law disrespectful.

And correct me if I'm wrong, almost every single Republican fundraising website sells

merch with the American flag on it.

Also, according to flag code: quote "It should not be embroidered on such articles

as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins

or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard."

So basically every Fourth of July cookout ever is a giant "fuck you" to the flag.

Because it's not an Independence Day BBQ without resting your hotdog on a disposable

plate with the stars and stripes flag on it.

Also in flag code: "The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner

whatsoever."

Considering that Donald Trump literally uses the American flag, and the office of the Presidency,

to advertise his brand and make him and his family even wealthier… we're going to

have to call bullshit on this one too.

One more thing about the Flag Code: It also prohibits use of the flag as part of "a

costume or athletic uniform."

That means almost all sports team violate flag code on a daily basis by putting the

flag on jerseys and outfits.

But not a peep from Republicans.

Who, as I mentioned earlier, HATE the US flag.

Recently the NFL issued a statement that they're considering a 15-yard penalty for kneeling

during the anthem, which stems directly from comments by the President, which makes both

those rules and Trump's comments extremely unconstitutional.

It also seems like the NFL is stricter with players who peacefully protest than it is

with players accused of domestic violence and sexual assault.

I'm actually fine with the penalty as long as you also give a 100 year prison penalty

for being a Nazi or white supremacist, or ripping children from their families, or ushering

in a new age of fascism.

When white supremacists march with tiki torches and Confederate flags, The President defends

them, and calls them "very fine people" . . . but then when black football players

protest peacefully by taking a knee during the anthem, he calls them 'sons of bitches'

who should be fired?

Rosa Parks didn't protest a bus.

Gandhi didn't protest the clothes.

I don't eat at Chick-Fil-A because of the food.

This isn't about the flag, it's about focusing attention on racial injustice.

If you insist people respect the flag only the way you want them to, it is you who is

disrespecting the flag.

¿Cuál es la Diferencia? Por qué, Porque, Porqué, Por que - Duration: 7:00.

Hi guys! Welcome to a new lesson with idiomaPRO.com.

Today we are going to talk ... -Hello?

No, I'm not doing anything right now.

Philly, can you turn that off, please?

Why?

Because we are recording a lesson.

Why?

Because ... can you just turn that off?

Well guys, as I said before

today we are going to learn the difference between

why, because, reason, and for which.

Confused yet? Don't worry.

We're going to see easy explanations and examples to help you understand.

First let's talk about when we use "why"

Notice that the second word "qué" has a tilde and therefore the emphasis.

So it is pronounced "why".

"Why" is more frequently used in questions

to ask for an explanation, clarification, or justification of something.

Let's see some examples of this.

Why are you so angry?

I am not angry!

Why don't we take the stairs?

No. Because no.

It's not that bad...

When Philly said, "Why are you angry?" he wanted to know the cause or the reason

that I seemed angry.

And when he asked, "Why don't we take the stairs?"

he was asking if there is any reason that we shouldn't take the stairs.

We can also use "why" without the question mark.

For example, "I don't know why I said that."

Tell me why you are so cruel.

Hector didn't explain why he arrived so late.

To help you think of "why" as meaning "What is the reason?"

Usually when someone asks a question with "Why?"

you can answer with saying "because" followed by the reason or the explanation.

That is, we use "why" to ask for an explanation and

"because" to give the explanation. For example:

Karin, why didn't you do your English homework?

Because it's boring.

I prefer to be on the internet.

Philly, why don't you fix this computer for me?

Um, because I'm really busy.

We also have the third version of the word "reason."

This is a noun which means "the reason"

and is frequently used in "the reason for". For example:

They never discovered the reason for the accident.

It means that they never discovered the reason for the accident.

I do not know why you visited.

Meaning, I do not know the reason for your visit.

And finally the final version is "por que".

Here we have two words and there is not a tilde.

In this phrase "by" is a preposition followed by the relative pronoun "that."

But in these cases, instead of using the word "that"

it is more common to use "the one" or "the one"

to identify the phrase as a relative pronoun.

So we can avoid confusion with the other "porques".

Let's see some examples.

This is the goal for which we work.

These are the virtues we fight for.

This is not the situation I opted for.

To finish today's lesson let's do a test

to see if you understood.

Complete each sentence with the correct version of "por qué".

You earn a point for each correct answer

and two points if you get it before the clue.

One. Why did you call me last night?

Hint: we use this version of "why" to ask questions and ask for an explanation.

Two. We do not know the _____ of this attack.

Hint: we use this version of "why" as a synonym

of the nouns "motive" or "reason".

Three. I failed the exam ______ I did not study.

Hint: we use this version of "because" to answer questions

or give an explanation.

Four: This is the goal _____ we strived.

Clue: This version of why is used as a relative pronoun.

Leave us a comment below with your score on the test from 0 to 8

and let us know of any another question you have about

why, why, why, and why.

So, guys, see you in the next lesson! Bye!
