USA news on Youtube Jul 2 2018

This week on TGC News, Guns behind every blade of grass, a new Cali-Compliant solution for

AR's and Gemtech, as we know it, is dead.

Welcome back to another episode of TGC News, the only gun news show that covers things

you actually care about, my name is Jon Patton.

Before we get cracking, I just want to let all of you know that our Patreon giveaway

gun got turned up a notch this month.

Since we are doing a Ruger American in 6.5 Creedmoor, our friends at MDT offered to throw

in one of their chassis systems to sweeten the deal.

We'll be featuring the gun in an upcoming accuracy comparison video but if you want

find out more, head over to Patreon.com/theguncollective.

Now, the news.

Our first story this week will make you beat your chest and say Merica.

According to FBI statistics, for the last 8 months, from October 2017 to May of 2018,

there have been over 2 million background checks called into the NICS system.

16 MILLION background checks and 11.3 MILLION of those happened since the beginning of 2018.

Gun ownership is strong in this country.

It should come as no surprise then, that according to a new study done by Small Arms Survey,

the American public owns approximately 87 times more firearms than the US military.

They are saying that the US populace has about 393.3 million firearms.

And according to a different study they did, the US military has about 4.5 million firearms.

Now, this data is likely not 100 percent accurate but even if its close, that is some really

cool data.

Think of it this way, at those numbers, there is one 1.2 firearms in the US, privately owned,

for every single person in the country.

Yes, that includes gun grabbers.

Now obviously that's not saying everyone in the country owns a gun but it is pretty wild

to consider that we could literally arm every single person in the country.

Now consider how much ammunition is contained within our borders.

I think the most interesting thing about this data is that even though we have enough firearms

to arm the entire country, crimes with firearms dont increase at the same rate as firearms

ownership.

Hmmm.

What do you guys think about these studies?

Are they worth taking into account when discussing gun stats in the US or is there no way for

them to be accurate enough for your needs?

And in Communist California news, there is another really interesting part designed for

those of you in Cali to deal with the ridiculous legislation that has come down over the last

few years.

At this point I'm struggling to keep up with the massive list of things that you're not

allowed to have in California.

Well this thing claims to allow you to avoid removing all of that stuff, your pistol grips,

collapsible stocks, vertical grips and flash hiders and whatever other nonsense has been

banned in the last 5 minutes in california.

How do they do this?

Well the product is called the Kali Key and its made by a company called JL Billet.

It is essentially a replacement for your charging handle and the gas key on your BCG combined

into one part that turns your rifle into a bolt action.

You take off the gas key and replace it with the kali key.

No other modifications required.

I was curious to see what would happen with the gas tube because it looked like the Kali

Key and the gas tube might interfere and hit.

Well, it actually has a cut-out to allow gas to come towards the side of the receiver,

in the forward portion of the Kali Key.

Not sure how much that might affect blow back to the shooter but in their promo videos it

doesn't look bad at all.

Now, the biggest downside to this thing that I can think of is the fact that if you want

to shoot quickly, you are racking the gun every single round.

But I suppose you might become a boss at malfunction clearing.

Either way, like I've said before here, the crazy laws that come up in california and

other states drive innovation and this is no different.

The price?

75 bucks.

I suppose that's the toll to keep all of your other trinkets on your rifle intact.

What do you guys think of this thing?

We have a huge audience in California so sound off and let me know if you guys would sacrifice

the semi auto functionality in order to keep the other parts.

Gemtech as we know it, is dead.

Now, what I'm about to tell you isn't in a press release or anything of the sort.

This is information from the source and as far as I know, they've made effort to keep

things quiet.

This all started in July of 2017.

We talked about the Smith and Wesson/American Outdoor Brands acquisition of Gemtech as well

as the following lawsuit where Gemtech sued Big Blue for killing a potentially massive

sale and then the subsequent dismissal of that lawsuit based on location.

It's been kind of a mess.

Well, on June 27th, the management of American Outdoor Brands or AOB called a surprise meeting

with the few remaining Gemtech employees.

We all know where this is heading.

Essentially the employees were told that they have approximately 6-9 months left before

the brand is moved to Springfield Massachusetts and that they will no longer be employed.

They were offered severance packages and pretty much told sorry about your luck, the industry

is down and blah blah blah.

This reminds me of what happened with AAC several years back when they were acquired

by Remington/Freedom Group.

A big company came in and everyone hoped it would take the brand to a new level.

Where is AAC now?

Struggling to compete in a market they helped to create.

I hope that big blue has a plan to keep this brand going because the last thing I think

we all want to see is another great brand crushed by corporate America.

As always, Time will tell.

This week on our Good Guy with A Gun segment, we are transported to Memphis Tennessee on

the evening of June 1st.

As a unnamed homeowner was arriving home, he noticed that his dog was going crazy in

its cage, and realized that someone was in the home and he was being robbed.

He decided to enter and it was at that point that the 2 people inside noticed him and started

panicking and drew their guns.

The homeowner was able to get to a hall closet and grab his AK47 and proceed to defend his

home.

It was at that point that he opened fire and killed both men.

He later stated that he did regret the fact that they died but he said it was either me

or them.

And in that equation we all know that self preservation wins every time.

It's time for more Friendly Fire, the segment where I answer your questions from all over

social media.

The questions are coming from the TGC Patriots over on our patreon page.

Well that's kinda tough because there really aren't a ton out there.

I really like the 50 beowulf I built as my first AR, I really think the Barrett 50bmg

rifles are a riot to shoot and I have this 500 automax that just came in for testing

that could be something awesome too.

You're asking me to pick my favorite child haha.

That's a damn good question.

It blows my mind that there are still shops out there with dudes behind the counter saying

things like "that gun you want to buy belongs in the trash" or simply pretending like the

choices they've made in their lives are the only good ones to make.

Gun owners are not one skin color or sex or sexual orientation or political party member

or education level, so why treat customers like they are?

Good question man.

Yup.

And hey, if you want to ask a friendly fire question, send it to me over on theguncollective.com!

That is it for this week's show.

than both World Wars put together?

That's what we'll find out, in this episode

JUST IN FBI Make Startling Announcement About ClintonLynch Tarmac Meeting — This Is It! - Duration: 10:32.

JUST IN FBI Make Startling Announcement About ClintonLynch Tarmac Meeting — This Is It!

In June of 2016, Bill Clinton met with then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac at the

Phoenix International Airport just days before the latter announced that Hillary Clinton

would not face charges.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Jay Sekulow, an attorney for President Donald Trump, just

spoke out to slam the Department of Justice for blaming a "glitch" for withholding

"missing" Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting docs from the ACLJ.

The The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) previously filed a FOIA lawsuit against

the DOJ in order to obtain these documents.

However, Sekulow said the DOJ never ended up turning these documents over.

When Sekulow and the ACLJ teamed up to try and get these documents again, the DOJ responded

by saying a "glitch" prevented them from locating the documents.

"That document showed that within minutes of top officials in the AG's office getting

media inquiries about then-Attorney General Lynch's surreptitious meeting with former

President Clinton (in the final days of the DOJ/FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton),

the DOJ alerted the FBI to the growing scandal," Sekulow said.

"We only learned about the DOJ's lie and that it withheld this information from us

as a result of a separate lawsuit we filed against the FBI for any documents it had about

the meeting."

"As we told you, we have gone back to court demanding the missing documents from the DOJ

and questioning the adequacy of the DOJ's search for responsive documents," he added.

"Late last week, the DOJ responded in federal court claiming that a 'glitch' in its

'sophisticated' software prevented it from locating that document.

First, to claim the software system is "sophisticated" and then blame a 'glitch' is oxymoronic.

What is more, it didn't even attempt to explain the so-called 'glitch' in technical

terms.

It only stated that after learning (from ACLJ court filings) that there was a missing document,

it discovered and fixed the 'glitch' and that no other responsive documents were withheld

by the 'glitch' – just the one we already knew about."

"The #DOJ just absurdly claimed that a 'glitch' is to blame for withholding Clinton-Lynch

documents from the @ACLJ.

Read & RT.

'The American people deserve more than grade school excuses,'" Sekulow added

on Twitter.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT MUELLER INVESTIGATION SENDS SHOCKWAVES THROUGH NATION - Duration: 11:43.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT MUELLER INVESTIGATION SENDS SHOCKWAVES THROUGH NATION

Americans have one serious question about the Robert Mueller investigation.

How did the FBI's probe into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia begin?

Now the real truth about the Mueller investigation is even more awful than anyone thought.

There has been a shifting origin story Deep State leakers planted in the press.

In April 2017, the New York Times published a story about how Carter Page's summer 2016

trip to Moscow is what tipped the FBI about suspicious contacts between Trump campaign

aides and Russians.

There was just one big problem with that story.

This trip was a focal point of the Christopher Steele dossier.

When it was revealed that the dossier was paid for by Hillary Clinton, the New York

Times then ran a story in December stating that the true beginning of the counterintelligence

investigation was when the Australian government passed along information to the FBI that Trump

foreign policy team member George Papadopoulos had discussed being offered information about

the Russians having Hillary Clinton's emails with one of their diplomats.

Now Americans are wondering if this is the truth in the wake of bombshell revelations

that the Obama administration sicced a spy on the Trump campaign.

The spy – allegedly Cambridge Professor Stefan Halper – approached three Trump aides

and tried to weasel his way into their good graces to earn a position on the campaign.

In light of the idea that a Democratic administration weaponized spies against the Republican nominee,

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani declared on CNN that he no longer saw the Mueller investigation

as legitimate.

CNN reports:

"GIULIANI ALSO SUGGESTED THAT THE START OF THE MUELLER PROBE WAS ILLEGITIMATE, CITING

FIRED FBI DIRECTOR JAMES COMEY'S LEAKED MEMOS AND A LACK OF EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION

BETWEEN TRUMP AND RUSSIA.

"(Y)OU GET THE COMEY THING, WHICH IS THE LEAK OF A CONFIDENTIAL MEMO, WHICH IS ILLEGAL

FOR AN FBI OFFICIAL TO DO.

I'M NOT SAYING MUELLER IS ILLEGITIMATE.

I'M SAYING THE BASIS ON WHICH HE WAS APPOINTED WAS ILLEGITIMATE," GIULIANI REMARKED.

ASKED WHETHER THE MUELLER PROBE WAS LEGITIMATE NOW, GIULIANI SAID, "NOT ANYMORE," CITING

REPORTS OF AN FBI INFORMANT WITHIN THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN AS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR ITS DISCREDITING."

The media went into overdrive to try and spin the idea that the Obama administration deploying

a spy to snoop around the Trump campaign was a perfectly normal use of a "confidential

human informant."

But neither the FBI nor the Department of Justice will release the documents surrounding

the spy's covert activities.

Both agencies have consistently stonewalled Congresses oversight attempts and refuse to

make public the intelligence that led to the FBI launching the investigation into the Trump

campaign.

Critics contend this cover-up is taking place because the investigation – as Giuliani

stated – is illegitimate.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments

in this story.

JUST IN CONGRESS DID IT – SHE'S HEADING TO PRISON - Duration: 11:39.

JUST IN CONGRESS DID IT – SHE'S HEADING TO PRISON

Hillary Clinton thought she was finally in the clear when it came to being criminally

charged for her numerous crimes.

That's why she likely went into full panic mode this week after a congressman let her

know that she could very well find herself being arrested in 2018.

Freedom Daily reported that during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Friday,

Florida Representative Matt Gaetz made it clear that Clinton could still be charged.

As a member of the House Judiciary Committee, Gaetz accused Clinton of using bribes paid

by her charity to influence domestic and foreign policy.

He even went so far as to call the Clinton Foundation a money laundering operation.

"There may have been acts that occurred at the State Department as a consequence of

bribes paid to the Clinton Foundation, which are creating an ongoing security concern for

the United States of America, Tucker," Gaetz said.

"Take, for example, the Hezbollah story you just mentioned.

It's not just cocaine that's being trafficked.

You have got Hezbollah working in common cause with narcotraffickers in South America to

move opium, to move heroin, to move people into the United States."

"And the investigation that was going on to degrade these networks, to degrade the

collusion between Hezbollah and South American narcotraffickers was smothered by people at

the Justice Department," he continued.

"And there is a suspicion that the State Department led by Hillary Clinton had a role

in limiting the American people's access to information about Hezbollah being funded

and their operations in this country because they wanted the Iranian Nuclear Deal so bad,

they didn't want us focusing on the fact that Iran has funded over 100 mosques in South

America to recruit people and then to send them to the United States to do harm."

"Why is it taking so long to get these investigations underway?"

Carlson asked.

"We've been calling for this for over five months.

Twenty members of the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Attorney General [Jeff] Sessions

saying that we've got to look into these things because of the ongoing security concerns,"

Gaetz replied.

"And, finally, now, we have Hillary Clinton dealing with investigations cascading down

on her like it's a bomb cyclone.

I think the day is coming soon, Tucker, when we'll be sending an 'I'm With Her'

T-shirt to Hillary Clinton's cellmate."

"So, you think she is criminally exposed potentially?" the Fox News host questioned.

"Absolutely.

Look, if people were taking bribes and then, as a consequence of those bribes, engaging

in actions that they would not otherwise be engaging in.

That is a crime.

You cannot do that in the United States of America.

And we've got to go now and remedy the consequences," Gaetz said.

"Take, for example, the subject of your show tonight, the opioid problem.

If you had people trafficking and would have been found out otherwise, we've got to now

go back and remediate the harm that the Clintons caused

this

country."
