USA news on Youtube Jul 19 2018

More than 250 million people live in a country other than the one they were born in... in

other words, they're immigrants.

And, my friends, this number won't stop growing.

In the last 50 years it has multiplied by 3 and only since the year 2000, the number

of immigrants has increased by 80 million!

That's 80 million more people who've left their country in search of a better life.

And as you can imagine, most of all the world's immigrants – more than 65% - have settled

in the richest countries, such as the United States, Germany, Australia and Canada.

And it is precisely this fact, dear viewers of VISUALPOLITIK, that is feeding, throughout

the world... controversial, furious and bitter debates on immigration.... and also, the discourse

of many populist movements.

In recent years, in Europe, for example, we've seen a lot of populist and xenophobic parties

emerging... which have targeted immigration directly.

What if they steal our jobs, put us in danger, destroy our national identity, etc., etc.

But... perhaps, the most outstanding case is that of Donald Trump.

A president who has made it clear, very clear, that he really doesn't like immigration...

except, apparently, under certain circumstances.

Check it out:

("President Trump balked at an immigration deal that would include protections for people

from Haiti and some nations in Africa, demanding to know

why he should accept immigrants from "s***hole countries" rather than from places like

Norway".

New York Times)

Why on earth would Trump think that Norwegians want to emigrate en masse to the United States,

when they are already richer than Americans?

In fact, more people are moving from the US to Norway than the other way around.

But... let's not stray off topic.

Is immigration really a danger, a burden, a step down?

Is the United States losing economic momentum because of all the immigrants in the country?

Should the US stop the arrival of more foreigners?

Let's see.

If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that we live in an increasingly interconnected

world, that is, a world where it's becoming easier, faster and cheaper to go from one

place to another.

And where it's also becoming easier to contact our loved ones no matter where we are.

And... as you can imagine all these things make the decision to pack up and move to another

country much, much easier.

That's why... if there were 90 million immigrants around the world in the 60s, today there are

more than 250 million...

And you know what?

We can expect this number to grow strongly in the upcoming years.

First, because it's becoming easier to move, and second because of the huge demographic

growth that many poor countries are experiencing.

So, my friends, the question is, are there reasons to worry?

Listen up.

(A LUCKY BREAK?)

Whenever rich countries talk about immigration, it sounds like they're debating whether

or not to engage in some kind of charity.

And... you know what?

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Immigration favors economic growth, among other things because most immigrants are adults

of working age.

Therefore, it's calculated, listen up, that since the year 2000, immigrants have been

responsible for 40 to 80 percent of their main recipient countries' workforce growth.

So let's be honest without them, these countries would be far less wealthy.

But yes I know.

This is all quite abstract, if you want we can see exactly what has happened in one of

the countries where immigration has caused a lot of controversy recently: the United

Kingdom.

In recent years, while some political groups warned about the enormous threat that immigration

- including, check this out, immigrants coming from other European Union countries - posed

to British jobs, identity, and way of life... the truth is that the economy has placed very,

very different numbers on the table.

Never before in history, have so many people been employed in the United Kingdom as they

have today-- neither in absolute nor relative terms.

And, it doesn't even matter if we exclude immigrants.

Never before has the British population had so many job opportunities as they do now.

And….

not only that, according to studies from several British universities... all these immigrants

pay more taxes than they get from the State and if that weren't enough, the UK is managing

to attract more university immigrants than any other European country.

In other words: the effect of this immigration is very, very positive for the British...

and it's also helping turn the United Kingdom into a technological powerhouse.

Not bad, right?

Well...

You know what?

Despite Trump's fiery speeches...

The truth is that on the other side of the Atlantic, things really aren't that different.

Listen up.

(THE NORTH AMERICAN DREAM)

With just over 44 million people – more or less the population of Spain – the United

States is in absolute terms, the country with the most immigrants in the world…

However, just a moment... because in relative terms... things are different.

These 44 million people, represent just under 14% of the entire population.

To give you an idea, in countries like Australia or New Zealand, for example, the percentage

is almost twice as high.

Now, here's a question and you can't look it up:

What impact do you think immigrants have in the United States?

Well dear viewers... listen up:

Despite representing just under 14% of the population, immigrants are responsible for

almost 25% of all businesses that open in the United States; for more than 30% of the

companies in which venture capital funds invest and almost half of all of Silicon Valley's

high-tech start-ups.

And that's not all… according to a study from the Center for American Entrepreneurship,

43% of the 500 largest companies in the United States were founded either by immigrants or

by children of immigrants.

That's 216 companies whose revenues surpass $5 trillion each year and employ almost 13

million people around the world.

We're talking about nearly half of the great US economic powerhouse.

My friends, from Henry Ford to Elon Musk... many of the great figures and iconic characters

of the United States weren't even born in this country.

But, just a moment... some of you may be thinking, OK, SIMON, but those are only a few immigrants,

the most educated ones...

What about the rest?

Well... the truth is, the numbers don't vary much there either: their entrepreneurship

and employment rates are also very high.

And they provide several other benefits, too.

For example, in a country that at the moment, let's not forget, has pretty much full employment,

new immigrants reinforce the US's competitiveness, encourage the rest of the American population

to do more, and allow for many businesses that would've otherwise not existed to be

created.

So in summary: immigrants reduce the population's average age, they have more children, are

more educated, are more enterprising, file more patents, etc., etc.

And if you think about it for a second, it all makes a lot of sense:

on the one hand, these people arrive to achieve a better future, so they are willing to take

risks and work hard;

on the other hand, they have had different experiences and education, and they can take

advantage of this to progress.

Think, for example, of the Italian pizzas or the Mexican tacos that flood the US today...

and the rest of the world.

Well, despite these arguments… and of the fact that never before have so many Americans

had jobs, politicians like Donald Trump still don't like immigration.

But you know what?

This isn't the first time that US political leaders have spoken out against immigration.

(THE PRECEDENTS)

My friends, this is by no means the first time that the United States, the country of

immigrants, has had political campaigns against immigration.

See, in the middle of the 19th century, the political movement "Know Nothing" opposed

immigrants, particularly the Irish.... and soon after, the Chinese had their turn.

Yes, you heard that right... the Chinese!

During the second half of the nineteenth century, many Chinese came to the United States...

and that triggered a rather hostile popular reaction.

( From Seattle to Los Angeles, from Wyoming to the small towns of California, immigrants

from China were forced out of business, run out of town, beaten, tortured, lynched, and

massacred, usually with little hope of help from the law."

Immigration, a work of Library Of Congress.)

All this because, at that time, Americans saw the Chinese as competition.

And in 1882 the Federal Congress itself approved the Law of Exclusion of the Chinese, which

not only suspended the arrival of new Chinese immigrants but, also, made the lives of those

who were already in the US quite complicated.

And that wasn't all.

In 1924, after around 30 million people had crossed the Atlantic Ocean to reach the US,

Washington established a quota policy that greatly reduced the number of immigrants that

could arrive and also... vetoed immigrants from southern Europe – such as Spain and

Italy –, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

So basically, the few who could enter had to be Anglo-Saxons.

And, more recently, in 1994, the then governor of California, Pete Wilson, blamed Hispanic

immigrants for the state's poor economic situation… and

Do you know what he did?

Well... he launched a huge political campaign against immigration and pushed the so-called

Proposition 187, a law that prevented access to social, educational and even health services

for all irregular immigrants.

Including children!

It was so aggressive that just a year later the supreme court declared it unconstitutional.

Well, the fact is that despite all these campaigns against immigration... existing research shows

that states and counties that historically had more immigration, now have a higher income,

less poverty, less unemployment and better educational results.

So with all this data in mind, it might be good for both the White House and the Capitol

to focus less on how to deport people and more on how to strengthen access,

and to try to approve, once and for all, a migratory reform that facilitates the orderly

arrival of more people... more workers, more entrepreneurs and more researchers to aid

the great North American economy.

By the way, in a future video, which we'll try to make available very soon on our PATREON

page and later here on this Channel, we'll discuss each of the great myths about immigration.

But now, it's your turn.

Do you think your country should reduce the entry of immigrants?

FED UP MIKE PENCE GOES ROGUE – UNLEASHES HELL ON ROBERT MUELLER - Duration: 12:53.

FED-UP MIKE PENCE GOES ROGUE – UNLEASHES HELL ON ROBERT MUELLER

Trump is tired of Robert Mueller.

His investigation into Russia collusion has produced virtually no real evidence, yet it

has continually been used to attack the President.

But thankfully, one major date coming up soon could trigger an end to Mueller's investigation.

This Thursday marks the one year anniversary of Robert Mueller's investigation into the

Trump campaign beginning.

So far, he has not revealed any real evidence linking the President to any collusion.

Despite this, the investigation has continued to go on.

But it could come to an end soon.

With the investigation about to go into its second year, many people who initially welcomed

it as a way to clear the president's name are done.

Just last week, Vice President Mike Pence called for the investigation to end.

There has been speculation that President Trump would fire Mueller.

Despite that speculation, the President has always stuck by his innocence, welcoming an

end to the investigation to prove he did nothing wrong.

But with the investigation seeming every day to be more a political tool than an actual

investigation, it could happen.

Mueller seems as though he may keep the investigation going through the upcoming midterm elections,

as it could harm Republicans seeking election or re-election against Democrats.

While that theory was plausible in the past, the investigation has since become much less

popular.

In fact, only 49 percent of Republicans support Mueller's probe, which is the smallest percentage

ever.

As reported by The Washington Post:

"AS THE SPECIAL COUNSEL INVESTIGATION INTO RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE IN THE 2016 ELECTION

HITS THE ONE-YEAR MARK THIS WEEK, ITS EXISTENCE REMAINS CONTROVERSIAL AND ITS FATE — SPECIFICALLY

WHETHER PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL COOPERATE WITH IT OR SEEK TO END IT BY FIRING ROBERT S. MUELLER

III — IS A TOPIC OF CONSTANT SPECULATION.

TRUMP CONTINUES TO CALL THE INVESTIGATION A "WITCH HUNT," EVEN THOUGH THE PROBE

HAS LED TO INDICTMENTS OF 19 INDIVIDUALS AND THREE COMPANIES.

LAST WEEK, VICE PRESIDENT PENCE ALSO CALLED FOR AN END TO MUELLER'S INVESTIGATION.

"OUR ADMINISTRATION HAS PROVIDED OVER A MILLION DOCUMENTS, WE'VE FULLY COOPERATED

IN IT, AND IN THE INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY, I THINK IT'S TIME TO WRAP IT UP," PENCE

TOLD NBC NEWS.

TRUMP HAS REPORTEDLY CONSIDERED FIRING MUELLER OR DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL ROD J. ROSENSTEIN

ON AT LEAST THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, AND WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY SARAH HUCKABEE

SANDERS SAID LAST MONTH THAT TRUMP "CERTAINLY BELIEVES HE HAS THE POWER" TO FIRE MUELLER.

ONLY 49 PERCENT OF REPUBLICANS SUPPORT THE MUELLER PROBE, ACCORDING TO AN APRIL WASHINGTON

POST-ABC NEWS POLL.

AND AS REPUBLICANS FIGHT TO KEEP CONTROL OF THE HOUSE AND SENATE IN NOVEMBER, THERE HAS

BEEN LITTLE APPETITE AMONG THEM TO ACT TO PROTECT THE SPECIAL COUNSEL.

SOME REPUBLICANS, NOTABLY REP.

MARK MEADOWS (R-N.C.), HAVE CALLED FOR AN AUDIT OF THE OFFICE OF SPECIAL COUNSEL, WHILE

OTHERS, SUCH AS REP.

MATT GAETZ (R-FLA.), HAVE CALLED FOR MUELLER TO BE FIRED."

The year mark of the investigation could very well be the trigger for it to end.

If Robert Mueller does not end it on his own soon, it could very well be forced to an end.

Do you think Robert Mueller should end his investigation?

BREAKING! A FEDERAL JUDGE HAS JUST EXPOSED MUELLER'S PLOT - Duration: 12:53.

BREAKING!

A FEDERAL JUDGE HAS JUST EXPOSED MUELLER'S PLOT

It looks like Mueller has been told by his masters to drag this investigation out for

the entirety of Trump's time in office.

Results never mattered, it is about casting a shadow over his administration.

A federal judge on Friday harshly rebuked Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team during

a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort – suggesting they lied about the

scope of the investigation, are seeking "unfettered power" and are more interested in bringing

down the president.

"You don't really care about Mr. Manafort," U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller's

team.

"You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr.

Trump and an impeachment, or whatever."

Further, Ellis demanded to see the unredacted "scope memo," a document outlining the

scope of the special counsel's Russia probe that congressional Republicans have also sought.

"That's what you're really interested in," said Ellis, who was appointed by President

Ronald Reagan.

He repeated his suspicion several times in the hour-long court hearing.

At one point, Ellis posed a hypothetical question, speaking as if he were the prosecutor, about

why Mueller's office referred a criminal investigation about Trump's personal attorney

Michael Cohen to New York authorities and kept the Manafort case in Virginia.

Were they "not interested in it to further our core effort to get Trump," Ellis said,

mimicking a prosecutor in the case.

And the truth will set you free folks!

This is the breakthrough that we've all been waiting for.

The true motivation of Mueller needs to come to light.

If the goal is to oust President Trump than all of these investigations are biased and

illegitimate.

One thing is for sure!

Robert Mueller is the MAN who is leading the DEEP STATE to destroy the People's President.

This guy can't be trusted and should have been fired the day Obama left town.

He is purely political and breaks more laws than he protects.

We need to share this because the MSM will never report this!

George Soros Obama Is Greatest Disappointment To 'New World Order' - Duration: 15:15.

George Soros: Obama Is Greatest Disappointment To 'New World Order'

Billionaire globalist George Soros has blasted Barack Obama for being his "greatest disappointment"

in failing to advance the New World Order agenda.

During a wide-ranging interview published in the New York Times on Tuesday, Soros described

the former President as inept in neutralizing the threat Trump poses to the global elite.

The billionaire also appeared to distance himself from the Democratic party.

Foxnews.com reports: At another part of the interview, he told the paper that Obama "closed

the door" on him after he secured the presidency.

"He made one phone call thanking me for my support, which was meant to last for five

minutes, and I engaged him, and he had to spend another three minutes with me, so I

dragged it out to eight minutes," he said.

Soros told the paper the he had hoped to have been consulted on economic and financial issues,

and that Obama was known to "take his supporters for granted and to woo his opponents."

Soros, who also poured millions of dollars into Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential

run, wouldn't say if he would back Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the upcoming presidential

election, but said when it comes to politics, "I don't particularly want to be a Democrat."

While speaking with The Times, Soros praised Arizona Sen. John McCain and said the main

priority of his political activism was to promote bipartisanship – noting that Republicans

on the far right led him to become one of the top funders for the Democratic Party.

But as Democrats set their eyes on November and the midterm election push to regain control

of the House of Representatives, the long-term goal of ensuring a Democrat resides in the

Oval Office in 2020 remains the party's glaring concern – as well as where Soros

will lend his financial support.

Soros expressed displeasure with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., for her use of the #MeToo

movement that led to the removal of Al Franken from Congress.

"She was using #MeToo to promote herself," he told the paper.

"He made one phone call thanking me for my support, which was meant to last for five

minutes, and I engaged him, and he had to spend another three minutes with me, so I

dragged it out to eight minutes."

– George Soros on Obama

Although neither Gillibrand nor her aides have confirmed that she is going to make a

presidential run, there are reports of extensive fundraising as well as her outreach to young

people and communities of color that play well with one of the most serious anti-Trump

voting records in the Senate.

Soros has contributed upwards of $15 million to support Democrats in the midterm elections,

and told the paper for every Trump supporter "there is more than one Trump enemy who

will be more intent, more determined."

When asked about where he views his political ideology, Soros told The Times "I'm opposed

to the extreme left," he said.

"It should stop trying to keep up with the extremists on the right."

THIS IS IT ROBERT MUELLER IS DONE AFTER TRUMP GOES ROGUE ON HIM - Duration: 15:15.

THIS IS IT: ROBERT MUELLER IS DONE AFTER TRUMP GOES ROGUE ON HIM

Corey Lewandowski, who served as Donald Trump's campaign manager during the 2016 primaries

has now told "Fox News Sunday" that President Trump's legal team, led by Mayor Rudy Guliani

has confirmed that they will take it Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his Democrat cronies

to court if they decide to subpoena him as part of the probe into Russian collusion.

"They will take it to court, and I believe the court's going to be on the president's

side on this," Lewandowski said Sunday.

Lewandowski was addressing the tense and protracted deliberations over a possible interview with

Mueller that some Republican allies have rightly warned could very well end up being a "perjury

trap."

Fox News revealed over the weekend that the president's legal team had gone as far as

to send a letter to Mueller in January claiming Trump could not be forced to testify.

And also that he could not have committed obstruction of justice because of his broad

authority as president.

But he also added that the president and his team are still willing to sit down to questions

with Mueller's team but they want to first determine the scope of the questions which

will be asked.

This would avoid a subpoena fight.

The former campaign manager did also stress that he believes the president would never

defy a court order because he respects the rule of law in this country too much to do

so.

Here is more on the investigation via Fox News:

"The investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election continues

– with Special Counsel Robert Mueller at its helm.

Mueller, 73, took over the federal government's probe into alleged collusion between President

Trump's campaign and Russian officials in May 2017.

Already, his investigation has led to charges for four Trump campaign associates, though

none of the charges are directly related to any misconduct by the president's campaign.

Trump has in the past expressed willingness to testify under oath as part of Mueller's

investigations and has repeatedly denied any "collusion" with Russians.

The Department of Justice announced the appointment of Mueller to oversee the federal investigation

into Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 election in May 2017.

The appointment came after a growing cry – mostly from Democrats – for someone outside the

Justice Department to handle the probe.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions had already recused himself from the investigation.

Mueller led the FBI through the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and served under presidential

administrations of both parties.

For the inquiry into the 2016 election, Mueller has the authority to prosecute any crimes

uncovered during this investigation, and he was given wide authority to investigate whether

Trump or his associates colluded with the Kremlin to win the White House.

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, one focus of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's

investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, hides behind

a car visor as he leaves his home in Alexandria, Va., after being asked to surrender to federal

authorities.

(Reuters/Jonathan Ernst)

In his leading role, Mueller took over an ongoing investigation into Paul Manafort's

financial dealings in Ukraine.

Manafort, Trump's former campaign chairman, and Richard Gates were indicted on Oct. 27

on multiple counts, including: conspiracy against the U.S., conspiracy to launder money,

false statements and failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

Manafort and Gates initially pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Nearly four months later, on Feb. 22, the pair was hit with additional tax evasion and

bank fraud charges and the amount of money Manafort was accused of laundering through

offshore accounts increased to $30 million.

Gates pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy and false-statements charges on Feb. 23.

After the plea, Mueller moved to drop the 22 bank and tax fraud charges against Gates,

possibly suggesting that the former Trump campaign official is cooperating and providing

good information to Mueller's team.

Mueller also accused Manafort of secretly paying former European politicians to lobby

on behalf of Ukraine.

Manafort has continued to maintain his innocence, pleading not guilty to the charges in federal

court on March 8.

Michael Flynn, the administration's short-lived national security adviser, was charged in

December with lying to the FBI about certain conversations he had with a Russian ambassador.

He pleaded guilty.

Additionally, George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty in 2017 to one count of making false

statements to investigating FBI agents, according to court documents.

Papadopoulos was a foreign policy adviser for Trump's campaign.

Alex van der Zwaan, an attorney, pleaded guilty to lying to investigators about Gates in the

Russia inquiry.

In April 2018, he was sentenced to 30 days in prison, making him the first to be sentenced

in the investigation.

Richard Pinedo, a California man who sold bank accounts to Russians meddling in the

election, pleaded guilty in February 2018 to using stolen identities to set up the accounts.

The U.S. government said Pinedo was not aware he was dealing with Russians when he sold

the accounts, however.

Three Russian entities and 13 Russian nationals were indicted by a federal grand jury on Feb.

16 for allegedly interfering in the election.

Mueller's case alleged those involved had a sophisticated plot to wage "information

warfare" on the U.S.

However, the Justice Department did not say the actions had an impact on the outcome of

the election.

Deputy Attorney Gen. Rod Rosenstein said, "There is no allegation in this indictment

that any American was a knowing participant in this illegal activity."

However, The New York Times has obtained questions Mueller has provided to Trump's lawyers

that he wants the president to answer.

The questions include information related to Flynn, Sessions, fired FBI Director James

Comey, former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe and his campaign's connections to Russia,

including the now-infamous Trump Tower meeting with Manafort, Donald Trump, Jr., the president's

oldest son and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

"So disgraceful that the questions concerning the Russian Witch Hunt were 'leaked' to

the media.

No questions on Collusion," Trump said in a tweet.

"Oh, I see … you have a made up, phony crime, Collusion, that never existed, and

an investigation begun with illegally leaked classified information.

Nice!"

The Trump administration has sharply criticized Mueller's investigation, as several of his

attorneys on staff donated to Democratic campaigns, including to Trump's 2016 rival, Hillary

Clinton.

Additionally, two FBI officials – Peter Strzok and Lisa Page – are under fire for

the anti-Trump text messages they exchanged during the election.

Strzok was part of Mueller's team but was removed after the text messages were revealed.

What has Trump said about Mueller's investigation? Trump has oftentimes dismissed the allegations

that he colluded with Russia during the election.

He said he is "looking forward" to eventually being questioned under oath by Mueller.

He's said the allegations are a "fake story that is demeaning to all of us and most

of all demeaning to our country and demeaning to our Constitution."

"I just hope the final determination is a truly honest one, which is what the millions

of people who gave us our big win in November deserve and what all Americans who want a

better future want and deserve," Trump said at a rally in West Virginia last year.

"I just hope the final determination is a truly honest one…"

– President Trump.

The president also warned Mueller to stay within certain boundaries as he investigates.

Trump and Mueller have sent messages "back and forth," according to Trump's outside

counsel.

A spokesman for Mueller told Fox News that the messages have been "very professional."

It's been over a year and Mueller and his associates still can't seem to be able to

find any wrongdoing by the President.

Maybe it's time to put a stop to this farce and go after the real criminals here, Hillary

and Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, the DNC and Obama's FBI and Justice Department!
