MONICA LEWINSKI MAKES MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT – CLINTONS PANIC

Given the popularity and power of the Me Too movement, Bill and Hillary Clinton want nothing

more than for Monica Lewinsky to go away.

That's why they undoubtedly went into full panic mode when she just reemerged to send

a major message to her followers.

Daily Mail reported that Lewinsky just opened up about cyberbullying in a recent interview,

saying that she will not be bullied off of social media despite the negative comments

she sometimes receives.

"As a woman, what is vital is how social media can be used to amplify our voices or

reclaim our narratives," she said.

"There is something powerful about direct communication — not being mediated through

another's lens."

Lewinsky believes that social media can be used to make it easier for women to find allies.

"What gives me hope is that it is so much easier to find your tribe and like-minded

people on social media whether people are in your same city or halfway around the world.

Knowing we're not alone is crucial," she added.

Lewinsky knows more about bullying than arguably anyone, as the Clintons and their cronies

have been trying to bully her into silence for decades.

Despite all of the abuse she has received at their hands, Lewinsky has refused to go

away and be silent.

This comes after Lewinsky was furious when she found out why she has been disinvited

to a Town & Country Magazine "event for change" after Bill Clinton was added to

the lineup.

Clinton appeared at the magazine's Philanthropy Summit on Wednesday to introduce teen gun

control activist Emma Gonzalez.

Lewinsky took to Twitter to make it clear that she is not taking this one lying down.

"dear world: please don't invite me to an event (esp one about social change) and

–then after i've accepted– uninvite me because bill clinton then decided to attend/was

invited.

it's 2018.

emily post would def not approve.

[peace sign] Me," she wrote, later adding, "p.s. …and definitely, please don't

try to ameliorate the situation by insulting me with an offer of an article

in

your mag."

Jeff Sessions Dropped A Hint About His Future With Shocking Decision - Duration: 11:06.

Jeff Sessions Dropped A Hint About His Future With Shocking Decision

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is under fire.

Insiders continue to speculate that Donald Trump will one day oust him as Attorney General.

But Sessions just revealed his future with one shocking decision.

One of the reasons Sessions has been able to hang onto his job this long is because

he's committed to implementing Trump's 'Make America Great Again' immigration

agenda.

And Sessions just took another step toward cracking down on illegal immigration by ending

a legal aide service for illegal aliens.

The Washington Post reports:

"THE U.S. IMMIGRATION COURTS WILL TEMPORARILY HALT A PROGRAM THAT OFFERS LEGAL ASSISTANCE

TO DETAINED FOREIGN NATIONALS FACING DEPORTATION WHILE IT AUDITS THE PROGRAM'S COST-EFFECTIVENESS,

A FEDERAL OFFICIAL SAID TUESDAY.

OFFICIALS INFORMED THE VERA INSTITUTE OF JUSTICE THAT STARTING THIS MONTH IT WILL PAUSE THE

NONPROFIT'S LEGAL ORIENTATION PROGRAM, WHICH LAST YEAR HELD INFORMATION SESSIONS FOR 53,000

IMMIGRANTS IN MORE THAN A DOZEN STATES, INCLUDING CALIFORNIA AND TEXAS.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL ALSO EVALUATE VERA'S "HELP DESK," WHICH OFFERS TIPS

TO NON-DETAINED IMMIGRANTS FACING DEPORTATION PROCEEDINGS IN THE CHICAGO, MIAMI, NEW YORK,

LOS ANGELES AND SAN ANTONIO COURTS.

THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR IMMIGRATION REVIEW, WHICH RUNS THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT'S IMMIGRATION

COURTS, SAID THE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO "CONDUCT EFFICIENCY REVIEWS WHICH HAVE NOT TAKEN PLACE

IN SIX YEARS."

AN IMMIGRATION COURT OFFICIAL, WHO SPOKE ON THE CONDITION OF ANONYMITY BECAUSE THE AUDIT

HAS NOT BEEN FORMALLY ANNOUNCED, SAID THE REVIEW WILL EXAMINE THE COST-EFFECTIVENESS

OF THE FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAMS AND WHETHER THEY DUPLICATE EFFORTS WITHIN THE COURT SYSTEM.

HE NOTED, FOR EXAMPLE, THAT IMMIGRATION JUDGES ARE ALREADY REQUIRED TO INFORM IMMIGRANTS

OF THEIR RIGHTS BEFORE A HEARING, INCLUDING THEIR RIGHT TO FIND A LAWYER AT THEIR OWN

EXPENSE."

Programs like this are a magnet for illegal immigration.

Illegal aliens enter the country knowing there is legal aid to help them stay.

Jeff Sessions was right to end this program.

Sessions came under fire from Trump and his supporters when he recused himself from the

Russia investigation.

Recusing himself allowed Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to appoint special counsel

Robert Mueller.

But he has faithfully carried out President Trump's immigration policies.

And that has allowed him to keep

his job.

We don't mean to alarm you but IBM's McAfee-as-a-service cloudy antivirus is wobbling - Duration: 3:17.

IBM's cloud is experiencing an "unplanned event" that means its McAfee-as-a-service offering is not currently at its best

"At approximately 0347 AM UTC on June 20, engineers with Compute Infrastructure identified a database issue that necessitated the restoration of a key update repository for McAfee Antivirus services from backup," reads an advisory sent to customers today

IBM touts McAfee-as-a-service as part of a portfolio of offerings to help its customers secure and defend their rented servers in the Big Blue cloud

Some 27 IBM data centers across Europe, Asia, the USA, and Mexico, are experiencing disrupted anti-malware scanning, though

And here's the good news: "Customers in the listed regions may experience difficulty updating existing McAfee services, provisioning new McAfee services, or performing scheduled scans or maintenance on McAfee services

"  Yup, you read that right: if you relied on IBM to host McAfee antivirus that protects your cloudy stuff, it might not be up to the job of scanning for viruses right now and/or might not be able to slurp today's virus-squishing updates

And good luck getting it running on a new cloud server, too, in case you felt like doing that "hey, the cloud lets me run up new servers whenever I want to" thing

Needless to say this is not an optimal mode of operation for antivirus software, and just isn't the sort of thing that a cloud or SaaS operator is supposed to do

It gets worse: IBM said the incident was spotted at approximately "0347AM UTC on 6-20-2018"

At the time of writing it's 2300 UTC, so customers' cloudy antivirus has been suboptimal for about 20 hours

And IBM's not offered any information about how long it will take to get things humming again

Of course you're not worried because as the kind of cunning person who reads The Register you do defence in depth and have other anti-malware arrangements, right? Right? ®
