USA news on Youtube Jun 17 2018

hey YouTube welcome back to my channel my name is Leah and today I am talking

to you guys about what I miss about America so I have been abroad for almost

a year I haven't gone back to America at all and I've done tons of travel around

this kind of general area mainly like Europe I dabbled in a little bit of

Africa and the Middle East doing all that I realized and I actually kind of

Miss America I never really admit it or talk about it because I don't know I

mean I'm packed up all my stuff and moved here to like have a better life

because I was like I hate America right now and then I'm here and I'm like hey I

kind of Miss America so I didn't want to admit that or tell anybody about that

but that is the truth I actually am starting to miss America and today I'm

going to share with you the top 5 things I miss about America so much and that

I've completely taken for granted number 5

the convenience and accessibility of everything like I never took that for

granted as much I feel like America is one of them only places where everything

is just open like everything is open you can go to a pharmacy 24 hours you can

always pick up something that you need like toilet paper food places are open

all the time not just that just things that you need in general stores that you

need in general clothing stores and stuff they're open for pretty late 10:00

o'clock you're never at a point where you can't get something because of the

time crunch but here in Europe will specifically Switzerland stuff closes

early so you really have to plan and you know me I'm such a spontaneous

individual so no I don't know that Thursday afternoon I need to go to the

store and get like some green beans no I don't know that but so that's really

hard that just doesn't fit with me I'm spontaneous I don't have everything

planned out I live day by day so accessibility is really hard here and I

miss that so much in America so number four so this is a big one actually but

in America there's actually not as much smoke as here in Europe like I'm still

like it baffles me everyday how much smoke there is and I feel like in

America we've kind of moved forward we have realized that smoking is bad and

you see less and less people smoking also there are so many like laws where

you can smoke where you can't smoke you have to smoke you can only smoke a

certain distance from buildings so that you know other people don't get

secondhand smoke but here there's nothing like that I literally have

smoked like a pack of cigarette of secondhand smoke every week and that's

not even an exaggeration like there's no avoiding it it's actually funny because

most days I inhale cigarette smoke before I even have breakfast and it's

disgusting yeah it's just gross and then also I feel like in America we are more

aware of you know the the health concern with smoking because here in Europe I

see people around babies like smoking a cigarette like this close I like holding

the baby and then they're like smoking and puffing in the baby's face and

nobody's saying anything it's like normal or they're like at a restaurant

you know because you can smoke at the restaurants outside in Europe and

they're just smoking and there's kids all around and like every adult is

smoking at the table and I'm just like wait what what is

I think you know um so that is a big thing like I really miss America for

that like I've never had to smoke I smell this much smoke ever ever ever

like you can avoid smoke in America if you want to number three black people I

know that's a weird thing to just say but I miss African Americans African

Americans are different than black people in any part of the world it's

just like I don't know how to explain it like I feel like we have so many inside

jokes we have we have a culture there is a culture there is an African American

culture and although I wasn't ever such a big part of it because I wasn't I mean

I grew up my parents were white I didn't have that many black friends ever but

once again it's like the things that I take for granted in America I really

miss now because now I really miss it because there's nobody that can relate

to me at all with you know anything and there are black people here but they're

from Africa and it's there's a disconnect like we don't really relate

like I don't I didn't grow up in Africa in America were like so separated from

our ancestors so I don't really connect with Africans that much when it comes to

like wanting to be connected with my roots I guess which sounds really messed

up right like but it's the truth like hanging out with African Americans

I feel so comfortable and yeah like my friend came to visit me and she's

African American and oh my god we had like the best time and I felt so

comfortable and I could be completely be myself around her and it's like yeah it

was just it just made me realize wow I really miss black people in America like

I really really do being around a whole bunch of people that are not like you it

makes you realize how special and important that is number two the people

I miss the people in America I never realized how friendly Americans were

until I have been here in Europe I mean there are places in Europe where people

are really friendly like Spain Italy and Portugal like the southern part but

still like not on the level of Americans like there so just pretty friendly just

overall in general we're a friendly country and I really missed that just

just a Hello a smile really means so much and you don't realize that until

you don't have that and then the last thing that is so so very important the

biggest thing is just outgoing attitude of Americans the most part in America

everyone is just outgoing they're just kind of relaxed or just chill and I mean

that's kind of what we're known for and I missed that because you can sense

the difference like I don't really try to go out here anymore because it's just

like for what like nobody is even mingling like and it's just I feel like

nobody's even letting loose completely when they land in America we're just

letting loose we're having a good time so I missed that just also just being

outgoing in general like I'm really spontaneous and random and impulsive and

I feel like that was nothing norm but it was it's not like a big deal in America

because there's many people that are like that too but here it's just like no

it's just not the same at all it feels good to have people that you

can just be spontaneous and crazy with I just missed that I feel like there's so

much of that in America that you don't realize is actually special until you're

without it but that's pretty much what I miss about

America the most still doesn't mean I'm going back there I'm not moving back

there I love being abroad because I'm learning

so much about the world and about myself so I really love it but yeah I mean

America is my home link I'm really sorry America for dissing you

like that my bad but yeah you're still right here in my heart

anyways thank you guys for watching if you liked this video and want to see

see you guys in the next one

Austriacki kanclerz o niemieckich pods艂uchach. W艣r贸d inwigilowanych by艂a polska ambasada - Duration: 5:09.

Austriacki kanclerz protestuje ws. niemieckich pods艂uch贸w na terenie Austrii. • Fot

Facebook.com / Sebastian Kurz Tomasz 艁awnicki 17 czerwca 2018 Austriackie w艂adze kategorycznie 偶膮daj膮 wyja艣nie艅 ze strony Berlina

Polskie w艂adze m贸wi膮 o "uzasadnionym zaniepokojeniu". Stanowisko Warszawy te偶 jest tu istotne - ta afera dotyczy bowiem r贸wnie偶 naszej plac贸wki dyplomatycznej

– Wierzymy, 偶e w艂adze Niemiec b臋d膮 gotowe wsp贸艂pracowa膰 i wyja艣ni膰 stawiane im zarzuty – stwierdzi艂 z kolei kanclerz Sebastian Kurz

Obaj najwa偶niejsi politycy w Austrii pojawili si臋 na wsp贸lnej konferencji prasowej

Sprawa jest bowiem niebagatelna – wed艂ug dziennika "Der Standard" niemieckie s艂u偶by wywiadowcze BDN od ko艅ca lat 90

prowadzi艂y inwigilacj臋 austriackich urz臋d贸w, instytucji i firm.  Gemeinsames Statement von Bundespr盲sident Alexander Van der Bellen und Bundeskanzler Sebastian Kurz zu den T盲tigkeiten des deutschen BND in 脰sterreich

Opublikowany przez Bundeskanzleramt 脰sterreich 16 czerwca 2018Na li艣cie pods艂uchiwanych by艂y cho膰by austriackie ministerstwa

Wywiad mia艂 szpiegowa膰 tak偶e m.in. Bank Austrii, biuro Interpolu i Mi臋dzynarodow膮 Agencj臋 Energii Atomowej

Wed艂ug "Der Standard" i magazynu "Profil" BND w latach 1999-2006 monitorowa艂o ponad 2 tys

telefon贸w.

kontroli wywiadu w Bundestagu. Ju偶 przed trzema laty bowiem niemiecki "Der Spiegel" pisa艂, 偶e niemiecka BND mia艂a szpiegowa膰 m

in. europejskie ambasady. Nieco wcze艣niej ten tygodnik donosi艂, 偶e niemiecka kanclerz Angela Merkel by艂a z kolei pods艂uchiwana przez wywiad USA
