Liberals FUMING: Trump Rocks Nation With Major Announcement

Liberals are livid about a promise President Donald Trump made for National Prayer Day

on Thursday.

Mad World News reported that Trump celebrated National Prayer Day by making a speech at

the White House Rose Garden in which he reaffirmed the importance of faith and made a promise

to the American people about his role as President of the United States.

Trump began the ceremony by paying tribute to the late Reverend Billy Graham.

"As we gather this morning, our thoughts also turn to the memory of a man who awakened

the light of God in the hearts of millions of America's pastors, and that's the great

legendary wonderful Billy Graham," Trump said.

He then turned to Sissy Graham Lynch, the granddaughter of the late Reverend Billy Graham.

"So Sissy, I want to thank you for carrying on your grandfather's incredible towering

legacy.

Today, we remember the words of Reverend Graham.

Prayer is the key that opens us the treasures of God's mercies and blessings.

Always beautiful, and when he said it, it meant so much," Trump said.

"Reverend Graham's words remind us that prayer has always been at the center of American

life because America is a nation of believers.

The prayers of religious believers helped gain our independence and the prayers of religious

leaders like the Reverend Martin Luther King, a great man, helped win the long struggle

for civil rights.

Faith has shaped our families and it shaped our communities.

It's inspired our commitment to charity and our defense of liberty," Trump continued.

"And faith has forged the identity and the destiny of this great nation that we all love.

Americans of faith have built the hospitals that care for our sick, the homes that tend

to our elderly and the charities that house the orphaned and the minister and they minister,

they really do, they minister to the poor so beautifully and with such love."

That's when Trump made his amazing promise to the American people.

"We are proud of our religious heritage, and as President, I will always protect religious

liberty," Trump said.

"We've been doing it.

Last year on this day I took executive action to prevent the Johnson Amendment, a disaster,

from interfering with our 1st Amendment rights.

I was so proud of that.

I've been saying from the beginning and I was saying for a long time we're going

to do that.

Across the government, we have taken action to defend the religious conscience of doctors,

nurses, teachers, students and groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor."

This is a huge difference from the days of Barack Obama, who ignored Christians and Christianity

as much as he possibly could during his presidency.

God bless President Trump for doing the right thing and putting Christianity first!

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appears to be executing a full 180 degree turn on

immigration policy following the recent dramatic increase in illegal immigration at Canada's

southern border.

Canada is reportedly attempting to renegotiate the "Safe Third Country Agreement," which

would require all asylum seekers who approach formal border-crossings (going either direction)

at the U.S.-Canada border to apply for asylum in the country they entered first.

Trudeau responded to questions during a parliamentary session on Tuesday, saying that negotiations

with the United States had thus far been "unfruitful."

In the past 15 months alone, Canada has seen an influx of more than 26,000 illegal immigrants

— some of whom have told officials that President Trump's stance on illegal immigration

was what drove them across the border to the north.

A number of those immigrants were Nigerian tourists with legal visitor visas who then

snuck across the border into Canada in order to avoid being sent home.

Trudeau tweeted in January 2017 in response to President Trump's first attempt at passing

a travel ban, "To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you."

The interview with Michelle will take place in Los Angeles as part of the United State

of Women Summit.

The conference is set to run all weekend and aims to bring together different female leaders

to discuss political and social issues, including former Teen Vogue editor Elaine Welteroth

moderating a conversation with actress Yara Shahidi; the co-founder of police reform organization

Campaign Zero, Brittany Packnett; and Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.).

"Women know their power, and by coming together we are growing the movement for change,"

said Jordan Brooks, managing director of the United State of Women, in a statement.

"We are thrilled to bring together women from across the country who are ready to collaborate

and get the skills they need to make their vision of the future a reality."

Michelle will undoubtedly use her interview to shamelessly bash President Donald Trump

just as she has in many of her post-White House appearances.

This comes after Michelle just declared herself to be America's "forever First Lady"

during an event in Pennsylvania.

The remark shows that Michelle really does see herself as royalty who will continue to

lead this country as long as she lives.

The event she is appearing at this weekend is yet another attempt to steal the spotlight

from Melania Trump and her husband.

Awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to US President Barack Obama in 2009 failed to achieve what

the committee hoped it would, its ex-secretary has said.

Geir Lundestad told the AP news agency that the committee hoped the award would strengthen

Mr Obama.

Instead, the decision was met with criticism in the US.

Many argued he had not had any impact worthy of the award.

Mr. Lundestad, writing in his memoir, Secretary of Peace, said even Mr. Obama himself had

been surprised.

"No Nobel Peace Prize ever elicited more attention than the 2009 prize to Barack Obama,"

Mr. Lundestad writes.

"Even many of Obama's supporters believed that the prize was a mistake," he says.

"In that sense, the committee didn't achieve what it had hoped for".

He also reveals that Mr. Obama considered not going to pick up the award in Norway's

capital, Oslo.

His staff enquired whether other winners had skipped the ceremony but found this has happened

only on rare occasions, such as when dissidents were held back by their governments.

"In the White House, they quickly realized that they needed to travel to Oslo," Mr.

Lundestad wrote.

Mr. Lundestad served as the committee's influential, but non-voting, secretary from

1990 to 2015.

He has broken with the tradition of the secretive committee, whose members rarely discuss proceedings.

activities of the committee:

According to Mr. Lundestad, Jonas Gahr Store, then Norway's foreign minister, tried in

2010 to dissuade the panel from awarding the prize to a Chinese dissident, fearing it would

strain the country's relationship with Beijing.

The Nobel committee ignored the warnings and honored Liu Xiaobo.

Mr. Lundestad also criticises Thorbjorn Jagland, who was the committee chairman for six years

and is now a regular member.

He said that as a former Norwegian prime minister, Mr. Jagland should never have been appointed

to the committee, which frequently stresses its independence.

In an amusing anecdote, Mr. Lundestad relates how he found Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat,

who won the award in 1994, watching an episode of the Tom and Jerry cartoon in his hotel

with other Palestine Liberation Organisation members.

"It was made very clear that they intended to watch until the end," he said.

This year's Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on October 9.

No. This is not the price we have to pay for Crimea…

This is actually the price we have to pay for our natural aspiration to preserve ourselves as a nation, as a civilisation, as a state.

And here is why.

As I've already mentioned when answering a question from your NTV colleague,

and as I've said during my Address to the Federal Assembly, after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the breakup of the Soviet Union,

Russia opened itself to our partners.

What did we see?

A direct and fully-fledges support of terrorism in North Caucasus.

They directly supported terrorism, you understand? Is that what partners usually do?

I won't go into details on that, but this is an established fact. And everyone knows it.

On any issue, no matter what we do, we always run into challenges, objections and opposition.

In this analogy, I am referring to the power of nuclear deterrence.

As soon as – God forbid – it happens and they no longer need the bear, the taiga will be taken over.

We have heard it even from high-level officials that it is unfair that the whole of Siberia with its immense resources belongs to Russia in its entirety.

Why exactly is it unfair?

So it is fair to snatch Texas from Mexico but it is unfair that we are working on our own land – no, we have to share.

And then, when all the teeth and claws are torn out, the bear will be of no use at all.

Perhaps they'll stuff it and that's all.

So, it is not about Crimea but about us protecting our independence, our sovereignty and our right to exist.

That is what we should all realise.

If we believe that one of the current problems – including in the economy as a result of the sanctions – is crucial…

And it is so because out of all the problems the sanctions take up about 25 to 30 percent.

But we must decide

whether we want to keep going and fight, change our economy – for the better, by the way, because we can use the current situation to our own advantage –

and be more independent,

go through all this or we want our skin to hang on the wall.

This is the choice we need to make and it has nothing to do with Crimea at all.
