Democrat Governor Preys On America's Senior Citizens, Until Republicans Stop Him.

Liberals are notorious for manipulating people's emotions in order to get their agenda rammed

through.

According to Democrats, you're a racist bigot if you're against sanctuary cities,

and if you aren't in favor of the Paris Climate Accord, you want the planet to die.

This guilt trip tactic hasn't been as effective in recent years, though, because people are

becoming increasingly aware that it's okay to have nuanced opinions.

Having a stance that doesn't conform to liberal groupthink doesn't make someone

a bad person.

But to the intolerant left, every issue is black and white, and if you're not on their

side, you're evil.

And liberals will continue to stoop as low as possible to in order to distort the truth

to suit their needs.

One Democratic Governor recently proved this point in a big way.

Doesn't get much lower than this; via The Daily Caller:

"Louisiana's ongoing budget battle received national attention last week, when the office

of Gov. John Bel Edwards sent letters to thousands of elderly and disabled Medicaid recipients,

warning spending cuts proposed by Republican lawmakers could result in the cancellation

of critical health programs — including funding for nursing homes and long-term care.

The Edwards administration sent the ominous notices in response to a balanced budget Republicans

in Louisiana's House advanced in April, which slashed state Medicaid funding.

Republicans reacted furiously, saying Edwards was interfering with the budget process and

using the sick and elderly as political pawns."

The letters were sent to 37,000 Louisiana residents, who took them at face-value and

believed they were about to be homeless.

The liberal media were quick to report on these letters as absolute fact as well, running

headlines like, "Tens of thousands of Louisiana residents could face eviction from nursing

and group homes."

Republican lawmakers insist this is not the case, and that Governor Edwards is employing

typical liberal scare tactics.

Unfortunately for Louisiana, their financial situation is precarious.

Louisiana's debt load has continued to steadily rise, significantly outpacing the national

average.

Lawmakers are stuck between a rock and a hard place, and can either slash spending or raise

taxes to make up for their significant debt.

But Edwards only seeks to add even more debt to the state, and wants a $3 billion Medicaid

expansion: this is why he's attempting to outrage the public through this political

stunt, because according to Republican lawmakers, his "pet project" is at stake.

The furor this whole situation has caused forced the Louisiana Senate's finance committee

to place $12 billion in the state department of health, but the budget proposal also slashes

spending by 25% in many other state departments.

Hopefully, these budget cuts mainly affect the state's funding of illegal immigrants

and tearing down Civil War monuments.

Actor Matt Damon was one of the many celebrities who promised to renounce their U.S. citizenship

and leave the country should Donald Trump become our president.

It's now been a year with him in the White House and not a single star who said they

would leave has done so.

However, with no signs of Trump leaving his post anytime before the end of his first term

and perhaps even his second, Damon has finally decided it's time to leave the United States

for a place he thought would be better.

The anti-Trump actor packed up his life, his family, and his wife and announced they're

out of here since Trump hasn't gone anywhere, which quickly blew up in his face.

It seems that the gun control debate was the final straw for Damon.

Let's also remember that Damon is notoriously for abolishing the Second Amendment despite

making millions off his role as an assassin in the Jason Bourne movies which had more

gun activity than almost any other film of our time.

Evidently, guns are only good for making millions and not for Americans to protect themselves

against criminal villains who Bourne fought off in his films with a massive cache of firearms.

We're happy to see that Damon decided to be honest about his threat to leave the country.

He announced he's going down under to the land of Australia where the ultra-rich celebrity

can feel free from the oppressed life he thought he had here.

It's one down and several hundred to go who may have followed his lead had it not

backfired in his smug face.

Darn.

The 47-year-old actor found a safe space in Australia next door to other liberal actors

with piss-poor attitudes about our president.

They can all commiserate together and have nightly kumbayas with the kangaroos.

Page Six reported that Damon's newly purchased property is in Byron Bay, New South Wales,

and happens to be down the street from a place owned by Miley Cyrus' man Chris Hemsworth.

Damon and Hemsworth are 'bros' after having recently appeared in "Thor: Ragnarok"

together.

We can only hope George Clooney is next in the neighborhood along with many others that

would make America great again by them not living here.

When Damon came out with his plans to hightail it out of here, the activist actor told all

of his friends and colleagues in Hollywood that it was because he completely disagrees

with Trump's politics.

He acts like the president's decisions have somehow had a negative impact on his life.

All that extra money he now saves on taxes must be really difficult to deal with along

with the fact that his fans have a little extra cash now in their pockets to afford

seeing his movies.

Damon also made it clear that his move will have no impact on his work, so no need to

worry.

He'll still travel to America or anywhere else he called to, in order to make his movies

and money off the citizens here in our country.

So much double standard, such little time.

However, people seem to see that and are showing that Damon can't have it both ways, which

is why he's feeling the burn of the backfire right about now.

Speaking from his pretentious perch about safety, the lack of it in America, and that

his four kids deserve a better upbringing that can't happen here, went over with his

fans like a lead balloon.

This elitist is in no place to preach about no feeling safe when as drones on about this

he and his family are currently protected by armed individuals afforded to them by box

office hits featuring a lot of firearms, shooting, and killing people.

Recognizing all of this irony, fans and fellow Americans didn't give Damon the positive

affirmation of his decision he had hoped for.

He could have quietly moved and started his new life in Australia without anyone realizing

he wasn't here anymore or caring that he left.

He only made a public announcement like this for attention and as a form of protest and

activism.

People are over it and his over-inflated ego on the matter.

Americans are not disillusioned anymore by celebrities who feel that whatever they say

is the gospel and just blindly believe it.

Anyone can look around and realize things actually are better with Trump in office who

kept his campaign promises and made major improvements that all are benefitting from.

Whether they admit it or not, they recognize it and this tired argument from celebrities

coming out against him is only a desperate public relations move for attention and to

make themselves relevant again.

Former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova just advised John Brennan to get himself a "good lawyer."

DiGenova predicts that Brennan, the former head of the CIA for Obama, will find himself

in front of grand jury very shortly for his part in the "set up" and spy scheme against

President Trump. Joe DiGenova, the former U.S. Attorney for

the District of Columbia, suggested John Brennan "get himself a good lawyer," saying the

former head of the CIA is "going to be in front of a grand jury shortly."

Appearing on Fox News Channel's "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Digenova charged that

Hillary Clinton "was illegally exonerated" in the private email server probe and that

"there was a substantial effort to frame" President Donald Trump.

"We know that Hillary Clinton was illegally exonerated. We knew that a year ago," the

former prosecutor said when asked to recap special counsel Robert Mueller's 1-year

probe of Russian collusion.

"We know that there was a substantial effort to frame the current president of the United

States with crimes by infiltrating his campaign and then his administration with spies that

the FBI had set upon them.

"We have learned that the crimes were committed by the FBI, senior members of the Department

of Justice, John Brennan, Mr. [James] Clapper, Mr. [James] Comey and others associated with

the Democratic Party," he continued. "And Donald Trump and his associates committed

no crimes."

If that wasn't damning enough, DiGenova then laid out an outrageous claim.

"Categorically and unequivocally, it has been proved that the FBI, in violation of

all guidelines, all legislation — and I believe they committed crimes in doing so

— purposely sent people into the Trump campaign to plant false information, then force that

information to be forwarded back to CIA, and then funneled to the FBI, to be used as false

information in FISA applications," he said.

"Everybody involved in that process, who knowingly participated, committed a crime,"

DiGenova concluded.

He explained to Carlson that "criminal referrals have already been made."

"And I suggest that Mr. Brennan, who loves to make comments about the process, get himself

a good lawyer not a good writer," DiGenova said.

"Yes, NBC News' consultant, the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency,

the most partisan hack leader of the CIA in history needs a very, very good lawyer."

DiGenova added, "He's going to be in front of a grand jury shortly."

Brennan became a focal point this week when former NSA Director Mike Rogers and former

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper contradicted his claim that the unverified

Trump dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign had no influence on allegations of

Russian interference in the 2016 election.

As noted by Mollie Hemingway, the senior editor for The Federalist, Brennan has "a history"

of not being honest.

South Korean President Drops a Bombshell on Trump

Over the past month, tensions with North Korea have drastically diminished.

Especially after North and South Korean leaders met with one another and broke bread over

dinner to celebrate the new era.

They both declared the end of the truce, the end of the Korean War.

Now the latest developments regarding this issue will be a little surprising.

While many people back home, specifically Democrats, would argue that President Trump

is a terrible President and that he is a danger to this country, the truth is the opposite.

Even the South Korean President said as much when he gave him credit for the recent de-escalation

in tensions between North and South Korea.

After meetings with North Korean leader Kim Jung Un, the South Korean President said the

following about President Trump,

"I give President Trump huge credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks, and

I'd like to thank him for that."

The Conservative Post reported,

"Moon insisted that it was precisely because of Trump's willingness to commit the "full

power" of American might to facing down North Korea, and his propensity for sharing

that commitment on Twitter, that these talks were even possible.

Now, that's something to remember, because Democrats have been claiming for the past

year that Trump was nothing but a "warmonger" and that his threatening tweets would only

lead to disaster.

But, miracle of miracles, the very opposite has happened – Trump's threatening tweets

have brought PEACE to a region that has known only war (at least officially) for the past

50 YEARS."

This comes at the same time that a new United States Ambassador to South Korea has been

nominated.

Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., who currently serves as the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command

was officially nominated by the President.

He will be the Ambassador just in time for the President of South Korea's visit to

the United States in just a few short weeks.

Fox News reported,

"Harris, who currently resides in Hawaii with his wife, is "a highly decorated, combat

proven Naval officer with extensive knowledge, leadership, and geopolitical experiences in

the Indo-Pacific region," the statement said.

Over the course of 40 years, Harris has "served in every geographic combatant command region,"

it continued, and he has commanded the U.S. Pacific Fleet, the U.S. Sixth Fleet and VP-46,

among others.

Trump's announcement comes as he prepares to host the South Korean president on Tuesday,

marking the third summit for the leaders.

The schedule meeting "affirms the enduring strength" of the "alliance and deep friendship

between our two countries," the news release said.

Trump and Moon are expected to discuss the upcoming meeting between the U.S. and North

Korea, set to be held on June 12 in Singapore.

However, that meeting was recently called into question after North Korea threatened

to pull out of talks."

This is really good news.

It will be interesting to see how the new ambassador feels about the President's decision

to try and reduce the number of troops in South Korea.

Recent reports from high-level officials have indicated that President Trump wants this

done ahead of the high profile talks set forth with the South Korean and North Korean leaders.

"A statement released by the office of the South Korean President Friday also refuted

suggestions the US was considering a reduction in troop numbers.

According to the statement, an official at the US National Security Council told South

Korean National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong the New York Times report was "not true

at all."

Chung had raised the issue Thursday night with Bolton in a phone call, an official familiar

with the conversation told CNN.

Bolton told Chung it was untrue that Trump is ordering plans to withdraw US troops, according

to the official.

The official also acknowledged that Trump has publicly expressed frustrations at the

cost and size of the US presence in South Korea and noted if the Korean War officially

comes to an end, there would have to be some sort of reduction.

The official said the troop withdrawal would not be on the table in talks with Kim, and

that Kim has not raised this as a possibility ahead of the summit.

When asked about the administration's current position on removing US troops from the Korean

Peninsula, a source close to the White House told CNN Thursday that it is viewed as something

that could possibly happen in the future but "not until long after the nukes are verifiably

gone."

"That is the position," the source said.

The source, who is familiar with the administration's internal discussions, added removing US troops

is not something currently being considered as a bargaining chip but as a possibility

should there be no need for them down the line.

According to the New York Times report, the officials would not say if Trump was seeking

options on a partial withdrawal or a full withdrawal, but said the latter was unlikely.

During a South Korean presidential briefing Wednesday, officials linked the presence of

US forces in South Korea to wider issues of peace and regional security.

"A peace treaty cannot be achieved between South Korea-North Korea or North Korea-United

States.

A peace treaty signifies an agreement to establish legal and systematic policies for the whole

Korean peninsula," the official said, referencing the pledge made by South Korean President

Moon Jae-in and Kim to bring a formal end to the Korean War, 65 years after hostilities

ceased.

"The status of the US forces was brought up from that relevance and I can reiterate

South Korean government's stance: we believe the US forces are needed to take a role of

a mediator in the region of tensions and military conflicts in other nations such as Japan and

China," they added."

Whatever the result may be it is clear that President Trump's policy with South Korea

and North Korea has been working.

He was able to achieve what no one else could prior to him in past administrations… the

end of the Korean War.

If the future is any indication of the past then it looks like negotiations with North

Korea will go well when they do sit down in the coming weeks.

President Donald Trump has promised that he will crackdown on illegal immigration like

no other president had before.

He followed through on this promise in a huge way this week when Immigration and Customs

Enforcement (ICE) officials arrested 78 illegal immigrants in a successful five state operation.

Breitbart reported that Iowa and Nebraska each had 25 aliens arrested, while there were

15 arrests in Minnesota, 10 in South Dakota and three in North Dakota.

"This operation targeted criminal aliens, public safety threats, and individuals who

have violated our nation's immigration laws," ICE official Peter Berg said in a May 15 statement.

"Operations like this reflect the vital work our ERO officers do every day to protect

our communities, uphold public safety and protect the integrity of our immigration laws

and border controls.

We will continue to devote the full efforts of our agency to protecting citizens and enforcing

federal immigration law.

Communities across the upper Midwest are safer today because of the hard work of the men

and women of ERO."

Of the 78 that were arrested, 62 of the illegal aliens had serious criminal records.

Their criminal histories included convictions for the following crimes: assault, arson,

rape, sex assault on a child, solicitation of a child, domestic assault against a child,

prostitution-hiring a child age 13-16, felony theft, felony forgery, prostitution, manufacturing

false documents, identity theft, hit and run, distributing a controlled substance, driving

while intoxicated (DUI), drug possession, indecent exposure, domestic assault, illegal

sale of a weapon, criminal impersonation, possessing drugs with intent to sell, burglary,

malicious prosecution, illegal re-entry after deportation and witness intimidation.

Most of the arrested illegal immigrants were from Mexico, but some were from El Salvador,

Guatemala, Honduras, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Kenya, the Ivory Coast and Sudan.

We're glad to see that Trump's ICE is continuing to keep Americans safe by getting

rid of these dangerous criminals!

Can you imagine the FBI planting a "secret mole" into the presidential campaign of

a private American citizen and spying on them?

Yes, you can imagine it, because that's exactly what happened to President Trump.

The lengths the mole went to gather intel on Trump is both shocking and disturbing.

The mole actually had several private meetings with ADVISERS to President Trump's campaign.

This is beyond Watergate.

What happened to President Trump should scare the hell out of every single American.

The Washington Post reported Friday that in addition to meeting with Trump campaign advisers

George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, the informant — described as an American academic — also

met with former Trump campaign co-chairman Sam Clovis.

The informant, a retired professor who is said to be a longtime U.S. intelligence source,

met Clovis for coffee in Northern Virginia in the summer of 2016, during which he offered

to provide foreign policy advice to the campaign, the Post reported.

The New York Times had previously reported on Wednesday that the informant approached

Papadopoulos and Page.

The role of the informant in the origins of the FBI investigation into possible ties between

the Trump campaign and Russia has given rise to claims by some GOP lawmakers and Trump

allies in recent days that the Obama administration planted a "mole" within the Trump campaign

to dig up dirt on the businessman and his associates.

There is no evidence that the FBI dispatched the informant to infiltrate the Trump campaign,

the Times reported Friday.

The use of informants is relatively common, and they are typically used before other methods

of intelligence gathering, like electronic surveillance.

But exactly how the informant became involved in the Russia investigation and how much information

he provided to the FBI remains unclear.

The focus on the informant's role by some conservatives and allies of Trump has reportedly

sparked concern at the FBI, where officials have sought in recent weeks to mitigate the

potential damage if the source's identity is exposed.

The Times reported Friday that the source, whom it described as an academic who has worked

in Britain, is well known in Washington circles and has acted as an informant for the CIA

for years.

Still, the informant has raised alarm bells for some Republicans, including House Intelligence

Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who earlier this month subpoenaed the Justice

Department for documents related to the source.

The Justice Department declined to provide the records out of concern that it could endanger

the informant and his associates.

Trump himself has also seized on reports that the informant met with campaign advisers,

suggesting on Thursday that the Obama administration had improperly spied on his campaign, and

that, if so, it could end up being "bigger than Watergate."

Meghan Markle, let something slip during the carriage ride.

Now, the Queen is furious and understandably so after putting so much time, money, and

energy into a wedding that was viewed by millions of people around the world.

The streets of the Berkshire town became a sea of Union Jack and Stars and Stripes flags

on Saturday as visitors from around the world crowded around the procession route to catch

a glimpse of the happy couple.

Fans cheered as Meghan and Harry were brought down Castle Hill, through the crowded town

center, and then back to Windsor Castle along the Long Walk, escorted by the Household Cavalry

Mounted Regiment.

The newly-announced Duke and Duchess of Sussex smiled and waved to ecstatic crowds, some

of whom had camped out for days to be at the front of the throng.

After the carriage traveled past, one royal fan, Rachael Carter-Eagleton, said, "[Meghan]

looked amazing.

She shone like a diamond."

With the whole world watching, you would think that Meghan Markle would have been on her

best behavior.

After all, people had come from far and wide and waited hours and hours just to catch a

glimpse of her.

They expected to see a princess, not some trashy peasant with a potty mouth.

Unfortunately, the crowds got the latter.

According to Metro, Meghan may have said something very rude after her big moment.

The new royal couple was hit by a wall of noise as they made their way through the town

during their 25-minute journey as the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

But as Meghan and Harry finished their carriage journey around Windsor, she appeared to turn

to her husband and say, "F*ck."

Twitter was sent into a meltdown after Meghan Markle appeared to drop the F-bomb today during

her horse-drawn carriage ride through Windsor with Prince Harry.

The bride turned to her husband and seemingly laughed 'Oh f***!' and put her hand over

her chest as the carriage pulled away from the crowds and into the gated grounds of Windsor

Castle.

overwhelmed after having had to smile and wave for 25 minutes straight as the world

watched her royal debut.

However, that's no excuse to start dropping profanities while the cameras are still rolling.

Kate Middleton went through the same ordeal, yet she was the picture of class from start

to finish.

It's difficult to even imagine Kate doing something this classless.

Apparently, Harry was feeling crass on Saturday, as well.

According to lip reader Tina Lannin, when he got into the carriage he said, "I'm

ready for a drink now."

It looks like this is a match made in heaven.

Once again, Meghan Markle has humiliated the royal family and demonstrated the overwhelming

differences in her "breeding" versus that of a girl like Kate Middleton's.

Technically, Kate was a "commoner," too, before she married her prince.

However, she was brought up with class and dignity.

Meghan, on the other hand, comes from a broken home.

Her father now lives in a dilapidated shack in Mexico and appears to survive off of cheap

tacos and even cheaper beer.

He couldn't even make it to her wedding because he had a heart attack after it was

revealed that he sold doctored photos to the paparazzi for some quick cash.

Indeed, Meghan was not "royal material" from the start, and her language on Saturday

has only proven as much for the umpteenth time.

She seems like the sort of chick you'd find in a trailer park, not a castle.

No wonder the Queen looked so miserable at the ceremony.

Hello everyone and welcome back to Advance in English! In today's video I'm

going to give you 10 food words with the British English and American English

variations. keep on watching!

In today's video I'm going to give you the British

English word first, followed by the American English word. Sometimes with the

American English word it is also what is used in Australia, in Australian English.

So, to begin with let's start with some healthy food - some nice vegetables.

The first word is aubergine, aubergine. In American English

this is eggplant, eggplant. It's also the same in Australian English.

The next word, another vegetable, is courgette courgette. In American English

this is zucchini, zucchini.

The third one, another vegetable type of plant used in

salads, is rocket, rocket. In American English

this is arugula, arugula. Now, let me know if this is a new word for you because

before researching today's video topic, I'd never heard arugula either. Let me

know if it's new for you by writing in the comments below!

The fourth food is a very British food, and that is jacket potato, jacket potato.

in American English they tend to call this a baked potato, baked potato.

What toppings do you like to put on your jacket potato? I like baked beans and

Okay, so we talked about

some healthy food, let's get on to the unhealthy food. The next word is

sweets, sweets. In American English they tend to call this candy, candy.

Related to the previous word is everybody's favorite: candy floss, candy floss.

In American English this is cotton candy, cotton candy.

Do you want to go to the fair and get some cotton candy?

The next word is take away, take away. In American

English they tend to call this take out or carry out.

The eighth term is fizzy drink,

fizzy drink. In American English they would call this a soda pop. Sometimes

they might just say soda or they might just use the word pop by itself.

In British English we would always say fizzy drink.

Okay now the 9th and 10th phrases are super important and what causes a lot of

confusion. So the ninth word in British English is crisps, crisps. In American

English these are chips, chips.

And that links nicely to the 10th and final word

in British English which is chips, chips. These, in American English, are French

fries, French fries. So, if you've been learning British English and you go to

America and you ask for some crisps they might not understand you. If you ask some

chips you'll probably end up getting some crisps. If you want chips you've got

to ask my french fries. Did you get it? It's kind of confusing!
