Behind The Scenes of Together Forever A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular Disneyland Resort - Duration: 1:45.

>>Tonight, we had our first rehearsal, first big rehearsal of Together Forever which
is our new firework show and tonight's the first night that we were able to see
pyrotechnics and video and our inflatables and lighting and other
elements all together and it was really exciting. Lighting is the way that I
think about it, is a layer. Right, there's there's the video layer which is all of
the media that plays on Main Street, in the castle.
There's the pyrotechnics layer which is huge obviously and up in the sky, and the
lighting I always view as the bridge between the two. A good example is in the Coco sequence.
We open the Coco sequence and were you pushing in on Miguel and he
does the strum on his guitar, and when he does that all of these marigolds take
off and fly around him. Well, we have some lights that are positioned behind the
castle and as the video marigolds come up the castle the lights take that and
take that look up into the sky. You work on these shows in a sort of isolation.
Doing lighting, we have video reference but we don't always get to see all the elements.
So once it all starts coming together, you can really see it take
shape and that's that's when it becomes exciting. It's when you know you have a show.
