What is your intention doing on an exchange year?
So I know lots of you have a lot of reasons like I mean for me too but it's just like
my main reason is really weird okay so like for example
Maybe you want to learn better English
I mean that's definitely
definitely everyone's main reason right like
maybe you want to learn better english or you think
you gonna speak fluent English after the exchange year
or maybe you want to do an culture exchange
or
Maybe you want to try the real American food
like that actually was one of my intention too like
when I was in Taiwan like we don't really have mac and cheese
so like, we have it but it's not that common but
When I go to America it's like everywhere
and I was like so in loved and
I eat too much and I was like
Oh mac and cheese
at the end of the year I was like
not again mac and cheese but
I really love them actually but it's just
I eat too much when I was in America but
Hopefully, when I go back next year
I would want to eat them cuz right now
I'm currently Germany and
I didn't really eat mac and cheese here
too
so yeah and they're actually some cool
German food that I've never seen in Taiwan and America
but we can talk about that next time

like I remember when I was in America
my friend was like
Hebe, high school musical
that's so like
that's my exchange year gonna be
and I was like
high school musical, high school musical

Okay, I know I'm super lame
I've never seen high school musical
before I went to America
I know I'm super lame but I remember one of my friend
was a huge fan of high school musical
she has every stuff
all the poster you know
the DVD and stuff but I was just really lame cuz
everyone liked it so then I was like I'm not gonna watch it
cuz everyone gonna watch it
I was like you know I'm super stubborn
like it's a popular thing i was like

no, you know nah
but it's kind of like that and
if you think the high school life
It's like high school musical

When my organization asked me like
Hebe why do you want to do an exchange year
and then I was like
why do I want to do an exchange year
I mean I just want to learn English and stuff
and they asked me like, what's your expectation
about living in America in high school
and with your host family and all the stuff and
I was blank in my mind I was like I don't expect anything
like anything they do are good are perfect
I just want to experience the real American life
you know so I didn't want to have like the bad expectation
or like super good expectation you know
so I told them
I didn't have anything actually
they actually tried to make me think of a reason
so I told them
maybe like movies and all the stuff but actually
I was like blank in my mind and I think lots of people do too
and
so then the intentions I just said are the most common intentions
and I believe they are more intentions
I mean all the intentions that I just say are like my intentions too
like my reasons too
like they're not like the biggest part of it
but they do take some part of it you know
