Hey, beautiful people welcome back for another tutorial and today I'm gonna
show you how to customise a book cover using nothing but glue and if you're new
here, please be sure to subscribe to my channel and like the video.
So without further do let's begin.
I'm starting by protecting my table, using a clean film, a glue brush, a glue fabric, a notebook,
a beautiful African-attire which has been made by Julius,
a ruler but a triangle will do the job better,
my usual zigzag scissors, a small scissors and the chalk. I'm starting
by marking the the fabric from wright what's wrong and as you can see the
pretty stressed for its calendar and i fold the fabric in half and I measured length
the width of the book and used the ruler to mark a strait line down.
When you measureing the book is we should take off the direction the the length of
the spine of the book and the spine of this book kids are half inch as well so
just drew around it just like so
and I'm measuring 1/2 inch seam allowance
and now I'm using my zigzag scissors to cut all around it, I love to use the
zigzag scissors because he does afraid as much as normal as a normal tailor scissors will do.
Now I'm carefully placing the fabric in the middle and I'm playing in glue.
I was pretty heavy-handed when I apply the glue, so be sure not be too heavy handed and
the problem I found with this glue as well, is that I found out it's dry out very quickly
and I'll show so I tryed to work it out as fast as I could
and I cut the four corners of the the fabric, but I was't too sure if that was a good idea.
it was a pretty quick process. I took me I think about 20 minutes to do it .
and I made two of them.
All right so I came back a bout an hour later when it was little bit more dry and I'm using the other
page to close it. Just to make sure it as a nice finished look because these look
pretty raw
And just press it.
Once it's done this is how it look. And that is the next day it's nice and dry.
And this how it look inside there is't any thing pretty fancy.
Thank you for watching the video until the end if you see here be sure to subscribe
