The Ford Performance radiator cover with the Ford Performance logo is a great option for
any 2015 or newer GT, V6 or EcoBoost owner who's looking to add some customization to
their engine bay while showing off some Ford pride.
Now, this cover completely replaces your factory one for a perfect fit, and comes in right
around the $90 mark, which I think isn't too bad at all.
Now, the installation, as you can imagine, is simple enough as taking off the old one
and popping on the new one in its place.
That definitely gets one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter.
Now, it's definitely not uncommon for guys to switch things up under the hood with styling
pieces, especially those of you who are spending a lot of time at car shows or cars-and-coffee
events in your local area.
The radiator cover from the factory is a little bland, and if you've got some work done to
your motor, you might want something that kind of showboats a little bit more than the
stock stuff.
But, even if your motor is bone stock, this is a good way to make it just look a little
bit cooler.
The Ford Performance cover actually shows off, and takes pride in having the family
name by having the logo engraved in a large, noticeable lettering right across the top
center, which actually has a really cool texture when you run your hand across it.
It's definitely the first thing you'll notice when you're popping the hood.
The Performance lettering is presented in a bold font, just like their logo, and it's
pretty badass, if I do say so myself.
As you'd imagine from Ford, the quality is top-notch.
Now, it's all OEM materials, exactly the same as your factory one as far as build goes.
Now, they'll use the same factory pushpins in the same factory locations.
Obviously, it makes it a lot easier when there comes time to pop it on and off.
So, you won't have to do any drilling to get it on, or any 3M tape, or anything like that.
Overall, one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter, and like I said, you can
pick it up for just about 90 bucks.
All you need to do is use a flat head screwdriver and pliers to pull off the clips, pop the
old cover off, replace it with the new one, and put the clips back on in the factory locations
in the pre-drilled holes here.
Secure it with those same pushpins, and you're good to go.
And, I think it's really not that bad of a deal.
For 90 bucks, obviously you get a ton of styling under the hood, and it matches a lot of other
Ford Performance and under-the-hood styling you may already have.
That just about does it for this one.
So, if you're the owner of a 2015 or newer GT, V6, or EcoBoost Mustang, you might wanna
check out the Ford Performance radiator cover with the Ford Performance logo, which you
can find right here at americanmuscle.com.
