Hi, welcome back in lesson 2
in this lesson we will learn another 100 phrases we use in our routine life
But... what is the difference in this and previous lesson
in lesson we will only talk about present continuous tense, for example
I am driving. She is cooking. She is eating. I am coming or it's raining or WiFi is not working.
This lesson will help you to start Urdu speaking let's have a start
What are you doing?
Tum (aap) kia kr rahe ho
for masculine gender
repeat with me
Tum (aap) kia kr rahe ho
You can also use "aap" which is formal
and for feminine gender, we will say
What are you doing?
Tum (aap) kia kr rahi ho?
I am chatting with you
Main aap se baat kr rahi hun
"Rahi" for feminine gender
repeat with me
Main aap se baat kr rahi hun
you can use this phrase if you are chatting someone or talking on phone
then you can say
Main aap se baat kr rahi hun
for masculine gender, we will use "Raha"
Main aap se baat kr raha hun with soft "T" sound like in Arabic or Spanish language
I am getting married
Main Shadi kr raha hun
"Raha" for masculine gender and for feminine gender we use "Rahi"
Main shadi kr raha or rahi(f) hun
I am getting engaged
Main mangnee kr raha hun
"Raha" for masculine noun
repeat with me
Main mangnee kr raha hun
for feminine gender, she will say
Main mangnee kr rahi hun
first say "Mang" and the say "Nee" Mang-ni
next we have, I am waiting
Main intezar kr raha hun
for masculine gender
repeat with me
Main intezar kr raha hun
for feminine gender
Main intezar kr rahi hun with soft "T" sound like in Arabic or Spanish language
She or He is waiting for me
it's little completed sentence
Woh mera intezar kar rahi or raha hai
in this phrase, we will use "Raha" and "Rahi" according to subject pronoun
for example This is me and she is waiting me
then I will say
Woh mera intezar kar rahi hai
I use "Rahi" because the subject noun is "feminine gender"
or if he (the boy) is waiting for me
then I will say
Woh mera intezar kr raha hai
same in the opposite side
if the boy waiting a women,
She will say
Woh mera intezar kr raha hai
and she will use "Rahi" if a girl waiting her
is it clear?
next we have, I am sending an email
Main email bhej raha hun
"Rhah" for masculine noun
and for feminine gender, she will say
Main email bhej rahi hun (f)
or you can use "Send kr". then we will delete the word "Bhej" and we will say
Main email send kr (kar) raha / rahi hun
WiFi is not working
WiFi kam nahi kr rahi hai
repeat with me
WiFi kaam nahi kr rahi hai
you can use this sentence to tell about anything which is not working
for example, your charger is not working or your laptop is not working.
You can say
Charger, Laptop or Mobile kaam nahi kr rahi / raha hai
I am feeling pain
Mujhy dard ho raha hai
repeat with me
Mujhy dard ho raha hai
in here "Dard" with soft "D" sound like in Arabic language
I am feeling pain in my head (headache )
Mujhy sir men dard ho raha hai
in here we use "Sir" for head
if you have pain in your stomach, in your hand, finger or any where
you can use this sentence to say if you have pain
once again repeat with me
Mujhy head, foot, finger men dard ho raha hai
I am getting hungry
Mujhy bhook lag rahi hai
repeat with me
Mujhy bhook lag rahi hai
This sentence for both gender i.e (Feminine and Masculine)
please remember if I not mentioned a specific gender, that mean this sentence for both gender
I am getting late
Mujhy dair ho rahi hai
repeat with me
Mujhy dair ho rahi hai
I am asking you
Main aap (or tum) se pooch raha hun
"Raha" for masculine gender
Main aap [or you can use "Tum" which is informal] se pooch raha hun
if you are feminine gender, you will say "Rahi"
I am asking something
Main kuch pooch raha hun
this for masculine gender
and feminine gender will say
Main kuch pooch rahi hun
I am going to meet my friend
Main apny dost se milny ja raha hun
this for masculine gender, repeat with me
Main apny dost se milny ja raha hun
and the feminine gender will say
Main apny dost se milny ja rahi hun
I am going to see the doctor
Main doctor ke paas ja raha hun
and feminine gender will say
Main doctor ke paas ja rahi hun
in here you need to learn the word "Paas"
"Paas" means near, like my house is near to post office
Mera house post office ke paas hai
in previous sentence, we used "Milnny" which means " to meet"
if you are going to meet your friends or family, we use " miliny"
but if you are going to doctor or boss, we use "Paas"
That's mean you are not going to doctor to have a cup of tea with him or for make gossip.
but you are going to doctor for some official purpose like usually we go to doctor for our treatment
therefore we use "Paas"
I am going to doctor I am going to boss
Main doctor ke paas / or main boss ke pass jaa raha or rahi hun
She or he is calling me
it's little complicated sentence, but I will brief you
Woh mujhy phone kr rahi or raha hia
now we will use "Rahi / Raha" according to subject pronoun
for example This is me (boy) and he (the another boy) calling me
then I will say
Woh mujhy phone kr raha hai
I used "Raha" because he is masculine
but if she (the girl) is calling me, I will say
Woh muhy phone kr rahi hai
I used "Rahi" because she is feminine
same the other side If I am calling her ( to girl). She will say
Woh mujhy phone kr raha hai
if she (the girl) calling her. she will use "Rahi" because she is feminine
The next is same sentence She or He is calling me
Woh mujhy bula rahi or raha hai
in this sentence we are using "Bula" because the word "Calling" we take in the sense like she is calling to come close to her or him
for example you are in the other room and you say, My mom calling me in her room or my mother calling me in kitchen
or someone across the road and he say come here.
in Urdu language we use "Bula"
She is calling me woh mujhy bula rahi hai
He is calling me Woh mujhy bula raha hai
is it clear?
Whats happening here ?
Yahan kia ho raha hai
or you can only use this sentence " what's happening"
Kia ho raha hai
you can use this sentence to say, like usually we say " What's up, What's going on or what's happening" for all these sentence, you can use this single sentence
Kia ho raha hai
I am washing or cleaning the car
Main car dho raha hun (m)
This sentence for masculine gender
and the feminine gender will say
Main car dho rahi hun
if you want to use the word "cleaning" instead of " washing". we will delete the word " dho" and say
Main car saaf kr raha or rahi hun
She is washing the dishes
Woh bartan dho rahi hai
"Bartan" with soft "T" like in Arabic or Spanish language
you can also put here name of someone like Hina or Jennifer
Jennifer bartan dho rahi hai
She (Hina) is cooking
Woh khana paka rahi hai
repeat with me
Woh khana paka rahi hai
in Urdu language "Khana" is food or dinner, lunch and breakfast
if she is cooking something like chicken, pizza. You can say
Hina chicken or vegetables paka rahi hai
an other example
I am cooking vegetables or chicken
Main sabzi or Chicken paka rahi hun (f)

Main sabzi or Chicken paka rahi hun (f)
"Rahi" for feminine noun, if you are masculine yo will use "Raha"
He is laughing
Woh hans raha hai
for masculine gender
Woh hans raha hai
and for feminine gender, we will say
Woh hans rahi hai

next, she is smiling
Woh muskra rahi hai
and for masculine gender
Woh muskra raha hai
first say "Mus" and then say "kra" muskra
I am going to sleep
Main sone jaa raha hun (m)
for masculine gender
and for feminine gender, we will say
Main sone jaa rahi hun
She is sleeping
Woh soo rahi hai
repeat with me
Woh soo rahi hai
this sentence for feminine noun, if masculine gender, we will use "Raha"
He / She is sleeping right now
Woh abhi soo raha hai
this sentence for masculine
and for feminine noun, we will say
Woh abhi soo rahi hai
I am drinking water or coffee
Main paani or coffee pee raha hun
for feminine noun, we will say
Main paani or coffee pee rahi hun
She or He is drinking coffee
Woh paani or coffee pee rahi hai
and for masculine gender, we will say
Woh paani or Coffee pee raha hai
We will use the verb " Run" in singular, plural and masculine and feminine phrase, so that you can understand how can we use "Raha / Rahi & Rahe"
I am running
Main doorh rahi hun
for feminine, and the masculine gender will say
Main doorh raha hun
in here the word "Doorh" with hard sound of "R & H "
She or he is running
Woh doorh rahi hai
for masculine gender
Woh doorh raha hai
for masculine and plural gender, we will say
Boys are running
Larke doorh rahe hain
for feminine (plural/singular) gender, we will use "Rahi"
Girls are running
Larkian doorh rahi hain
first say "Larr" and then say "Kian" Larkian
Larkian doorh rahi hain

for masculine gender
and for feminine noun, we will say
Main ghusal kr rahi hun
He or She is taking a bath

it's for masculine gender
and for feminine, we will say

Main gana ga raha hun
it's for masculine gender
Main gana ga raha hun
"Gana" mean "song" and "Ga" mean to sing
for feminine gender, we will say
Main gana ga rahi hun
I am taking photos
Main photos bana raha hun
it's for masculine gender
and for feminine gender, we will say
Main photos bana rahi hun
in Urdu language, Photos, pictures or drawing called " Tasvir" and plural is " Tasvirain"
but and usually people use as in English language
Main Photos, Pictures, Drawing bana raha hun
I am feeling cold
Mujhy sardi lag rahi hai
I am feeling hot
Muhy garmi lag rahi hai
repeat with me
Mujhy garmi lag rahi hai
or you can say
Main garmi mehsoos kar raha or rahi hun
I am requesting a day off
you can use this sentence when you are requesting for holiday
Main chutti ki dakhawast kar raha hun
it's for masculine gender
and for feminine, we will say
Main chutti ki darkhawast kar rahi hun
"Chutti" mean holiday and "Darkhawast" mean request
first say "Dar" and then say "Khawast"
if it is difficult to pronounce, you can still use "request"
Main chutti ki request kar raha or rahi hun
I am driving
Main gharri chala raha hun
it's for masculine gender
Main gharri chala raha hun
"Gharri" mean any type of vehicle. like as Car, bus, tractor etc
and you can putt name of vehicle in this sentence, like as car
Main car, motorcycle or bus chala raha hun
and for feminine gender, we will say
Main car or motorcycle chala rahi hun
I am telling the truth
Mian such bool raha hun
it's for masculine gender
and for feminine gender, we will say
Main such bool rahi hun
in here yo need to learn "bool" Bool means "Speak" hence this sentence mean I am speaking true
She is telling lie
Woh jhooth bool rahi hai
repeat with me
Woh jhooth bool rahi hai
He is telling lie
Woh Jhoot bool raha hai
it's for masculine gender
Woh jhoot bool raha hai
She or he is eating
Woh khana kha rahi hai
it's for feminine gender
and for masculine gender, we will say
Woh khana kha raha hai
in this sentence, "Khana" is food. like if someone doing breakfast, lunch or dinner. Then we will say
Woh khana kha raha hai
or you can putt name of the food, like in this example
She is eating Pineapple / cake
Woh pineapple / cake kha rahi hai

in here you can add name of any place like as Post office, New-York or your country name

and if you are feminine gender, you will use "Rahi"

and for masculine gender, we will use "Raha"

Woh phone par baat kar rahi hai

it's for masculine gender
and for feminine, we will say

I am going to market or name of any place like Makkah (Mecca)
Main market or Makkah jaa raha hun
it's for masculine gender
and for feminine gender, we will use "Rahi"

Main wapas ghar jaa raha hun
and for feminine gender

you can put name of any place in here, like post office or your city name

Main TV dekh raha hun (m)
it's for masculine gender
and for feminine gender, we will use "Rahi"

Mother is cutting vegetable
Ami sabzi kat rahi hai

Ami sabzi kat rahi hai
you can put name of any other person here (instead of Ami)
we used "Rahi" for feminine noun, if masculine gender, we will use "Raha"

Woh parh rahi hai

in here hard sound of "Rh"
and for masculine gender, we will say
Woh parh raha hai
or you can say " He is reading a book"
Woh kitab parh raha hai

and for masculine gender, we will use "Raha"

in the last, we will talk about grammar
we use " raha, rahi and rahe" to translate "ing" from English to Urdu language
simply means, we use " Raha, Rahi and Rahe" in continuous tense
let's see how can we use these all
Raha = we use for singular and masculine noun
like me, I will use " raha" for me
Rahe = we use "Rahe" for masculine noun but noun must be plural
and in the last, Rahi. "Rahi" is very easy to understand
we use "Rahi" for feminine, one this is one rule No matter the noun is singular or plural. if the noun is feminine, we will use " Rahi"
