3D Printed LED Flashlight Project for Kids using CR-10 with Anycubic Ultrabase - Duration: 6:18.

In this week's episode I test out the anycubic ultrabase on my CR 10 and

build this little LED flashlight that I created based on a design from

Thingiverse. I'll show you all the steps on today's Filament Friday. Filament

Friday is brought to every week by the generous donations of my patreon

supporters. The first step was to remove the glass base from my CR 10 which is

held in place by these four clips. Once those were off I could lift the glass

off and then bring in the antecubic ultrabase. It comes in a nice box with

foam on both sides although I only show one here. You just slide it off and then

the glass is ready to install. There's no sticky back on this one you just put it

in place and then clip it back on with the same clips you use to hold the glass

originally. It's 310 by 310 millimeters and fits perfectly. You can get these now

at amazon.com right here in the US with prime shipping for about $35. I'll put a link

to it in the description below. I found this LED lamp by user REigenmann

on Thingiverse. I love this little design and it is small for printing on a CR-10

but that's what I like about the CR-10, it can print small objects really well.

Because these are flat it's a great test of the anycubic ultrabase. I had to

modify it though, like I always do, so I brought it into Tinkercad and here's

some of the modifications that I did. I actually printed one out originally I

just didn't like the way it fit together so I brought in the two pieces that made

up this design and the first one, here's what I did is I added a bump to the

button and then I made the LED slot for the leads a little bit wider and grouped

that together so I had my first piece. The second piece I basically did the

same thing, made the slot a little wider for the LED to go in, it was just too

tight. And then I added another block to cut out for a resistor just in case I

ever want to put a resistor in this design. I have some other ideas for this

that I want to do some things with maybe ultraviolet light and stuff. So once I

had that, I grouped that together and I had part two. In his design he used a

piece of tape to insulate the battery from touching the leads.

I wanted an actual plastic piece so that's what this middle piece is, is my

design, I call it the insulator. So I took a slice from that part on the right and

it's only 0.8 millimeters thick and then I put this red block in here that's the

actual insulator that the LEDs go around. I made the holes a little bigger with

these bars and then I cut out where the LED went and then I grouped all these

together for a nice thin spacer to go between these two halves and those are

the three pieces that make up my little flashlight design. I exported them as a

single STL and I brought them in to simplify3d. You can see it takes a very

little space on the CR-10. Now this is a pretty easy design to slice I did it

on the CR-10 profile with PLA, medium settings which is a 0.2 layer

height on mine, 30% fill so layer height point two, three top and bottom layers

three perimeter shells, infill like I said 30%. Temperature wise I did 40

degrees in a bed and found it probably should have raised that and then I did

215 degrees I'm just using a standard PLA. Speed 60 millimeters per second and

this thing was ready to slice so I went back to the main screen click prepare to

print and it sliced really quickly said it was only 28 layers and I scrolled

through him it looked fine and then when I checked the build time it said 22

minutes to build this very very quick and 1.2 meters of plastic so very little

plastic. So I sent it off to my CR-10. Now this is actually the second print the

first print I printed it actually warped a little bit and that disappointed me

but then I didn't realize I had my heat settings from my original glass not just

ultrabase I should have probably raised the temperature about 10 degrees or 15

degrees instead I cheated I use a one swipe of glue stick and it turned out to

be way too much these things are so hard to get off I had to get a painter's

knife to scrape underneath him the last one just kind of popped off but I didn't

need that glue I should have just raised the temperature so my fault there. Once I

had the pieces off though I cleaned him up with a little bit of water and then I

started assembling and the spacer fit nicely right over the base just

like I wanted and now I had my insulator layer and then I slid the led with the

positive lead on the bottom and the negative lead on the top and then I just

pushed the LED into its slot and it fit nicely and snapped in place. The next

step was just to install the three volt cr2032 battery so it slides in and goes

underneath that lip I created and now it's keeping the top or the, yeah the

top LED lead off the battery and then the cover comes down and pinches in

place and goes over those pins. And they fit really tight I had a hard time

pushing it with my fingers and so I wanted to lock this and good so I got

out my channel locks and just crimped it and it worked beautifully it just

crimped right together and held so I did it at all four pins and once I had that

done this thing was solid it wasn't coming apart. So now I could just press

the button on the top and the LED lit up fine. So this was working exactly as I

hoped. After I did this I went to the circuit assemblies for Tinkercad and

realized this would be a perfect add-on three pieces that you snap together add a

battery and an LED and you got a working flashlight so Tinkercad if you're

listening I highly suggest you add this one to the circuit assemblies. I used a

super bright yellow LED and in the dark this thing really worked well I could

see my hand I mean it was complete dark other than this so it worked really well.

So overall I think this is a great little project teaches a little bit

about electronics and it's easy to print on any printer. If you like this type of

project check out these videos that are popping up and if you don't want to miss

the next one click on that CHEP logo and subscribe and if you want to help

support the channel join us at CHEPCLUB.com where I have even more information

about the projects. That's it for this week I'll see you next time on Filament

Friday.

Breaking News About ADAM SCHIFF… He Just Got Busted, BIG TIME!MK Today - Duration: 3:32.

Breaking News About ADAM SCHIFF…

He Just Got Busted, BIG TIME!!!

The ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff seems to have an issue

with honesty these days, and he was just majorly busted for it.

As many are aware, House Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes, a California Republican (as rare

as they are), created a four-page memo outlining how the former administration abused its power

against the Trump campaign.

On Monday, the House voted along party lines to release the memo to the public, but first

a copy of it was to be sent to the white House for review.

Enter shifty Adam Schiff, the beady-eyed, pencil-necked Democrat who's also from California.

Schiff, who's so heavily invested in the Russian ruse that he'll probably kill himself

if Mueller exonerates President Trump, apparently hatched a plan with Senate Minority Leader

Chuck Schumer, who also has an issue with the truth, well, all the time.

According to the Daily Mail, Schumer and Schiff-ty are now trying to undermine the credibility

of the classified memo, which President Trump said he would "100 percent" release, before

the public can see it by claiming that Nunes altered it after the vote was cast.

In fact, Schiff wrote a letter to Chairman Nunes late Wednesday afternoon accusing the

highest-ranking member of the Intelligence Committee of intentionally trying to deceive

the public by "secretly" altering the document before sending it to the President.

But here's the thing – Schiff-ty didn't say how the document was "altered," he

merely made the accusation, which is all the adoring news media needs to run with.

From the Daily Mail:

California Rep. Adam Schiff sent a letter to House intelligence committee chairman Devin

Nunes late Wednesday that charged the document had been 'secretly altered' by Nunes after

the vote.

Schiff did not detail the changes.

A spokesman for Nunes did not immediately return a request for comment.

The panel voted Monday to publicly release the memo, part of a GOP effort to prove improper

use of surveillance by the FBI in its Russia investigation.

President Donald Trump has five days from the vote to review the document.

Senate Minority Chuck Schumer, the Democrat from New York, blasted Nunes late Wednesday.

Schumer accused Nunes of trying to undermine the rule of law by attempting to 'interfere

with the Russia probe.'

'It's clear that Chairman Nunes will seemingly stop at nothing to undermine the rule of law

and interfere with the Russia probe.

He's been willing to carry the White House's water, attack our law enforcement and intelligence

officials, and now to mislead his House colleagues,' Schumer wrote in a statement.

Schumer called on House Speaker Paul Ryan, the Wisconsin Republican, to challenge Nunes

and the other Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee.

'If Speaker Ryan cares about the integrity of the House or the rule of law, he will put

an end to this charade once and for all,' Schumer said.

Seriously, what is it with Democrats and their obsession with keeping the public in the dark

and deceiving us about everything?

If there's nothing incriminating in the memo, like they originally claimed, then why

not let us see it?

If it has been "secretly altered," as they're now claiming, then why can't they

show us proof of it?

Their actions as a whole seem to show some sort of guilt or cover-up.

Odds are, once we see the memo, we'll find out which of the two, if not both, it is.

what do you think about this?
